  • un élément élastique 15, par exemple un ressort de compression, sollicitant la coiffe 14 dans la position déployée, et
  • un dispositif de blocage réversible, qui sera décrit ci-après et qui est adapté pour bloquer la coiffe 14 en position escamotée.

  • a second unstable position PI2 situated beyond the first stable position PS1 in the direction opposite to the axial direction S and in which the associated follower pin 183 is situated unstably at the lower end of the second inclined face 168.

Claims (12)

  1. Retractable covering system (2) suitable for covering a handling element (10) protruding from the neck (4) of a product reservoir (3), said system comprising:
    - an assembly ring (13) intended to be attached concentrically to the neck (4) of the reservoir (3), having a first longitudinal end (130) intended to be placed facing the reservoir (3) and a second free longitudinal end (131) and defining a longitudinal axis (X) and an axial direction (S) from the first end (130) to the second end (131); and
    - a cap (14) that is movable in translation along the longitudinal axis (X) relative to the assembly ring (13), between a deployed position where said cap (14) substantially protrudes in the axial direction (S) relative to said ring (13) and a retracted position where said cap (14) is at least partially retracted in the direction opposite to the axial direction (S) relative to said ring (13) ;
    characterized in that it further comprises:
    - an elastic element (15) biasing the cap (14) towards the deployed position; and
    - a reversible locking device (16, 18) to lock the cap (14) in the retracted position.
  2. System (2) according to claim 1, wherein the reversible locking device (16, 18) defines at least a first stable position (PS1) of the cap (14) relative to the ring (13), corresponding to the retracted position, and at least a first unstable position (PI1) located beyond the retracted position in the direction opposite to the axial direction (S),
    and wherein the passage of the cap (14) from the deployed position to the retracted position is achieved by a movement of said cap (14) relative to the ring (13) in the direction opposite to the axial direction (S) until it reaches the first unstable position (PI1), followed by a movement of the cap (14) relative to the ring (13) in the axial direction (S) caused by the elastic element (15).
  3. System (2) according to claim 2, wherein the reversible locking device (16, 18) defines a second stable position (PS2) of the cap (14) relative to the ring (13), corresponding to the deployed position, and a second unstable position (PI2) located beyond the retracted position in the direction opposite to the axial direction (S),
    and wherein the passage of the cap (14) from the retracted position to the deployed position is achieved by a movement of said cap (14) relative to the ring (13) in the direction opposite to the axial direction (S) until it reaches the second unstable position (PI2), followed by a movement of the cap (14) relative to the ring (13) in the axial direction (S) caused by the elastic element (15).
  4. System (2) according to either of claims 2 or 3, wherein the reversible locking device comprises at least one follower pin (183) integral to one among the assembly ring (13) and the cap (14) and engaging with a heart-shaped cam (163) integral to the other among the assembly ring (13) and the cap (14).
  5. System (2) according to claim 4, wherein the reversible locking device comprises at least one flexible tab (182) having a free end provided with the follower pin (183), said flexible tab (182) being inclined towards the longitudinal axis (X) such that said follower pin (183) exerts an elastic force in the radial direction on the heart-shaped cam (163).
  6. System (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, the handling element (10) being movable relative to the neck (4) of the reservoir (3) between a rest position and a usage position, said system (2) further comprising a locking device that locks the handling element (10) in the rest position when the cap (14) is in the deployed position, the passage of said cap (14) into the retracted position causing the unlocking of said handling element (10).
  7. System (2) according to claim 6, wherein the locking device for the handling element (10) comprises at least one tiltable tongue (22) integral to the assembly ring (13) and having a locking portion (23), an unlocking portion (24), and a tilt axis (25), said locking and unlocking portions (23, 24) extending to each side of the tilt axis (25), the locking portion (23) engaging with the handling element (10) when the cap (14) is in the deployed position, and said cap (14) being brought into engagement with the unlocking portion (24) when passing from the deployed position to the retracted position so as to cause the tongue (22) to tilt around the tilt axis (25) and the locking portion (23) to disengage from the handling element (10).
  8. System according to claim 7, wherein the locking device further comprises a tab (20) integral to the ring (13) and extending substantially along the longitudinal axis (X), and wherein the tilt axis of the tiltable tongue (22) is formed by at least one bridge of material (25) connecting said tab (20) and said tiltable tongue (22).
  9. System according to either of claims 7 and 8, wherein the locking portion comprises a lug (23) extending radially inward and the unlocking portion comprises a ramp (24) extending radially outward.
  10. Product packaging and application assembly (1) comprising:
    - a product packaging and application system comprising:
    * a product reservoir (3) having a neck (4) extending along a longitudinal axis (X) and having an open free end (6), a shoulder (5), a side wall (7), and a bottom, said shoulder (5) radially connecting said neck (4) to said side wall (7); and
    * a product application device (8) having a collection portion (9) adapted to be inserted through the open free end (6) of the neck (4) so as to extend at least partially inside the reservoir (3), for collecting the product contained therein, and a handling element (10) protruding from said neck (4) along the longitudinal axis (X) and adapted to be manipulated by a user in order to act on the collection portion (9) and cause product to exit the reservoir (3);
    - a retractable covering system (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein:
    * the assembly ring (13) is concentrically fixed to the neck (4) of the reservoir (3); and
    * the cap (14) laterally covers the handling element (10) in the deployed position and at least partially uncovers said handling element (10) in the retracted position.
  11. Assembly according to claim 10, wherein the application device (8) is a product dispensing device for the product contained in the reservoir, the collection portion comprising a pump (9) fixed to the neck (4) of the reservoir (3), and the handling element comprising a pushbutton (10) that is movable relative to the pump (9) between a rest position and a pump (9) actuation position.
  12. Assembly according to claim 11, wherein the pump (9) is fixed to the neck (4) of the reservoir (3) by means of a ferrule (12) engaged around and over the open free end (6) of the neck (4) of the reservoir (3), and wherein the assembly ring (13) is fixed to said neck (4) by being engaged at least around said ferrule (12).
