Claims (13)
- A container-handling machine, comprising a container-handling apparatus (10) for holding, gripping, and/or rotating containers (12) standing on a support at their top mouth (14) and/or at their neck area, wherein the container-handling apparatus comprises at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) that are vertically adjustable and/or that transmit a vertical holding force, said holding elements and/or centring elements (18) being alternatingly adjustable between an operating position and a rest position such that the particular holding element and/or centring element (18) that is in operating position is bringable into engagement with a container (12), wherein a plurality of such supports with associated holding elements and/or centring elements are disposed at the outer circumference of a rotatable machine part, wherein the at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) are disposed at a common holding device (22), with each holding element and/or centring element (18) located thereon being swivelable between its operating position and its rest position by rotation of said holding device (22) by a specified swivel angle, and wherein the holding device (22) is rotatably mounted on a machine holder (34) and has a rotation axis or swivel axis (36) that is inclined by about 45 degrees in relation to the vertical (20).
- The container-handling machine as recited in claim 1 in which each of the longitudinal axes of the at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) affixed to the common holding device (22) cut the rotation axis or swivel axis (36) of the rotatable holding device (22) in each case at an angle of about 45 degrees.
- The container-handling machine as recited in claim 1 or 2 in which the holding device (22) is rotatable in a plurality of latching steps about its longitudinal axis (36).
- The container-handling machine as recited in claim 3 in which the latching steps in each case have graduations of about 60, 90 degrees or of about 120 degrees.
- The container-handling machine as recited in one of the claims 1 to 4 in which the holding elements and/or centring elements (18) are each provided with a central air duct (48) or air passage, which are in each case guided through the holding device (22) and/or up to the machine holder (34).
- The container-handling machine as recited in one of the claims 1 to 4 in which the at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) disposed at the common holding device (22) are in each case manually adjustable between their operating position and their rest position.
- The container-handling machine as recited in one of the claims 1 to 4 in which the at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) disposed at the common holding device (22) are in each case adjustable between their operating position and their rest position by motor, in particular by electric motor.
- The container-handling machine as recited in claim 7 in which the machine holder (34) with the motor-adjustable holding device (22) has an additional torque support (62) in relation to a stationary suspension or anchoring (68).
- The container-handling machine as recited in one of the claims 1 to 8 in which the machine holder (34) together with the holding device (22) disposed thereat is liftable or lowerable in vertical direction in relation to a container (12) standing on the support.
- The container-handling machine as recited in one of the claims 1 to 9 in which different and/or replaceable or, as the case may be, detachably affixable attachments, such as holding bells, suction elements, punches, or the like, are mounted to, or, as the case may be, mountable to the holding device (22).
- The container-handling machine as recited in one of the claims 1 to 10 which is disposed in a sterile machine surrounding, in particular in a largely sealed clean room.
- A method for holding, gripping, and/or rotating containers (12) standing on a support of a container-handling apparatus (10) of a container-handling machine at their particular upper mouth (14) and/or at their neck area, in which at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) that are vertically adjustable and/or that transmit a vertical holding force are alternatingly adjusted between an operating position and a rest position such that the particular holding element and/or centring element (18) that is in operating position is brought into engagement with a container (12), wherein a plurality of such supports with associated holding elements and/or centring elements are disposed at the outer circumference of a rotatable machine part, wherein the at least two holding elements and/or centring elements (18) are disposed at a common holding device (22), with each holding element and/or centring element (18) located thereon being swivelled between its operating position and its rest position by rotation of said holding device (22) by a specified swivel angle, and wherein the holding device (22) is rotatably mounted on a machine holder (34) and has a rotation axis or swivel axis (36) that is inclined by about 45 degrees in relation to the vertical (20).
- The method as recited in claim 12 using a container-handling machine according to at least one of the claims 1 to 11.
