Claims (15)

  1. Slat for a Venetian blind for darkening windows or doors,
    wherein the slat (1) in a vertical position comprises a lower edge section (3) and an upper edge section (4), wherein a main section (5) extends from the lower edge section (3) of the slat (1) towards the upper edge section,
    wherein
    the main portion (5) has a mean radius of curvature of at least 100 cm, and the slat (1) in its upper edge section (4) has a lever section (12), which extends approximately transversely to a center plane (13) of the other sections (5, 10) of the slat (1), so that a turning belt (22), can be fastened to an edge (18) formed on the lever section (12) at a distance from the centre plane.
  2. Slat according to claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the blade (1) adjacent to the lever portion (12) respectively has a projecting section (10) and a main section (5), wherein the main section (5) extends from the lower edge section (3) of the slat (1) in the direction of the projecting section (10) and has openings (23).
  3. Slat according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in that
    the main section (5) occupies at least about 50%, preferably at least 60% or 70% of the width (B) of the slat (1).

    the hooks are respectively arranged in opposite pairs on the two opposing edges (17, 18) of the slat, wherein the hooks (19, 20) at the bottom section are fixed with a certain angle (β) with respect to the slat (1).

    the hooks (19, 20) at the lower edge section are formed from a non-abrasive material, such as e.g. a plastic material.
