Definitions
- the present invention relates to a system for the rail-bound transport of objects, for example for the transport and delivery of material to or from railway work vehicles, with a plurality of interconnectable railway carriages, each of which has at least one transport track provided on a support structure, on which the objects can be moved along the railway carriages and which is designed in such a way that the transport tracks of coupled railway carriages adjoin one another, transport bodies being provided for the objects which are designed to be movable along adjacent transport tracks from railway carriages to railway carriages, or wherein the objects are piece goods and themselves form such transport bodies.
- ballast bed cleaning machines such as ballast bed cleaning machines, underground renovation machines and the like are used, but also machines for dismantling or for the new production of railroad tracks.
- material has to be transported to and / or removed from the work vehicles.
- ballast bed cleaning machines overburden from old ballast and underground material must be removed.
- the materials can be conveyed to and from the construction site in a particularly efficient and low-pollution manner. In addition, there is almost no segregation of the materials.
- Another advantage is that all types of materials, in particular water, small iron, sleepers and fuel can be transported in addition to road material and gravel.
- a system of the type mentioned can be used not only for the transport of material to and from railway work vehicles, but also in general for the transport of objects on railway lines.
- the CN 101 475 003 A. discloses a system for track-bound ballast transport, which comprises an arrangement of two superimposed runways for conveying ballast containers. At the end of the system consisting of coupled wagons, the ballast containers are emptied by tipping.
- the EP 2 431 521 A1 discloses a sleeper layer that is housed in a transport unit such as a container.
- the transport unit can be detachably attached to a railway wagon.
- the invention has for its object to improve a transport system of the type mentioned.
- the delivery and removal of the system to its place of use and the use on rail networks of different track widths should be facilitated.
- the supporting structures each form a loadable unit or are accommodated in a loadable unit, the loadable units being releasably attachable to the associated railroad car.
- the supporting structures, including the transport tracks, are therefore not designed as an integral part of the associated railroad car, but rather as a load for any railroad car that is basically any.
- the transport tracks for the transport bodies can thus be transported in and out over the track like conventional work devices.
- the transport tracks can also be advantageously transported in other ways, for example on a low loader or a ship.
- the transport system according to the invention can therefore also be cheaper Brought to workplaces that are difficult or difficult to reach by rail.
- the support structures are each housed in a standard container, in particular in a standard container standardized according to ISO 668, or the support structures are each designed as a standard container, in particular as a standard container standardized according to ISO 668. This facilitates transportation and in particular reduces transportation costs, since transportation vehicles for standard containers are available in a variety of ways.
- the support structures can each be designed as a cuboid frame on which container corner fittings are provided.
- a The frame is easy to manufacture and has a comparatively low weight. Because of the corner fittings, which are also referred to as "corner castings", such a frame can be quickly and easily attached to a corresponding interlocking railroad car.
- the dimensions of the frame can correspond to standard container dimensions.
- the dimensions of the frame can be enlarged compared to standard container dimensions using the available clearance profile, e.g. accommodate wider transport tracks within the frame.
- At least part of the support structures and / or the transport tracks can be adjustable between a loading position and a working position.
- certain booms can be retracted to reduce the space required during transport.
- the railway wagons can be designed as standard freight wagons, in particular as container wagons. This is particularly advantageous because the elaborate approval procedure mentioned above is eliminated. Rather, the railroad cars can be rented and brought together with the loadable units on site. A particular advantage is that standardized container wagons are available in practically any country.
- the railway wagons are preferably not modified or only modified in the context of their approval regulations compared to a normal container wagon.
- the support structures with the transport tracks can be transported as a load with the rail vehicle without Permits are required. This enables particularly fast transport between different locations.
- the loadable units can preferably be fastened on railway carriages of different track widths. Depending on the place of use and the track gauge used there, a different set of railway carriages can thus be used to transport the loadable units, so that a transport system according to the invention can be used on different rail networks without any problems.
- At least one of the loadable units has fastening devices for fastening at least one rail to an outside of the loadable unit.
- the fastening devices can in particular be arranged on an underside of the loadable unit on both sides of a support section designed to rest on the railroad car.
- the usable clearance profile is generally wider than a standard container wagon, so that there is free space to the left and right of the wagon area. This free space can be used advantageously to transport rails.
- the fastening devices can in particular be designed as simple suspensions.
- a further embodiment of the invention provides that the loadable unit is cuboid, the width of the loadable unit exceeding the width of a standard container and the height of the loadable unit being equal to or less than the width of a standard container than the width of a standard container. It is then possible, on the one hand, to optimally utilize the available clearance profile during the track-bound transport of objects by means of the loadable unit and, on the other hand, to improve the loadability by simply rotating the loadable unit about its longitudinal axis. In particular when transporting containers on ships, it is often absolutely necessary to maintain a certain width due to the existing guide rails. If the height of a loadable unit corresponds to this width, the loadable units can simply be stacked "upright" using the existing guide rails in the cargo hold. If the height of a loadable unit is less than the width of a standard container, the required dimensions can be created by attaching one or more attachments.
- An integer multiple of the width of the loadable unit preferably corresponds to an integer multiple of the height of a standard container.
- six standard containers or five loadable units can be stacked one on top of the other in a particular parcel of a cargo hold provided with a guide rail arrangement. In this way, a particularly good utilization of the available cargo space is possible.
- the support structure 20 is composed of a lower frame 22, a middle one Frame 23 and an upper frame 24 together, which are connected via vertical struts 25.
- a transport path 26, 27 is formed on the lower frame 22 and on the middle frame 23, on which transport bodies 28 can be moved.
- the transport bodies 28 can be closed boxes, open transport bodies, such as containers or pallets, or machines.
- the transport body 28 are provided with wheels 29 which roll on the transport track 26 or the transport track 27.
- the transport bodies 28 can be moved automatically on the transport tracks 26, 27.
- the transport bodies 28 are preferably provided with a machine-readable coding 31. The method can also be carried out remotely.
- Fig. 2 shows a system for rail-bound transport of objects, which is based on the use of several devices 13 Fig. 1 is based.
- the system comprises several railway wagons 11 coupled together, two of which are shown as examples.
- a device 13 is attached as described above.
- the devices 13 are designed as loadable units 15 and each detachably connected to the associated railway carriage 11.
- the railway wagons 11 are container wagons in standard construction, which are not modified or only modified within the framework of its approval regulations compared to a normal container wagon used for the transportation of goods.
- the in Fig. 2 shown railroad car 11 each have a platform-like base frame 17, which rests on rail wheel sets 19.
- adjustable locks 18 are provided on the base frame 17, which are preferably designed as so-called twist locks.
- the lower transport tracks 26 and the upper transport tracks 27 of the loadable units 15 each adjoin one another without a shoulder and run horizontally.
- 15 transport path connections 33 are provided between the units.
- At least one of the units 15 can be equipped with a changing device 35 between the transport tracks 26, 27.
- the transport bodies 28 can be brought from one transport path 26 or 27 to the other transport path 27 or 26.
- the transport bodies 28 can preferably be moved in both directions on both transport tracks 26, 27.
- a separate unit (not shown) can also be provided, the supporting structure of which carries an automatic loading and / or unloading device.
- Such a loading and / or unloading device enables an exchange of material between the transport bodies 28 and a railway work vehicle, not shown here, or an exchange of transport bodies 28 between a loadable unit 15 and a storage location, in particular on the track.
- the loadable units 15 are between the in Fig. 1 loading position shown and in Fig. 2 shown working position adjustable. Specifically, the transport track connections 33 are extended in the working position while they are retracted or retracted in the loading position. In addition, the transport bodies 28 are preferably secured in the loading position against an unintentional movement on the transport tracks 26, 27. However, it may also be the case that the transport bodies 28 are removed from the transport tracks 26, 27 in the loading position of the unit 15.
- each of the loadable units 15 is designed so that in the loading position permissible external dimensions of a normal load must not be exceeded.
- the length, width and height of the support structures 20 each correspond to standard container dimensions.
- 20 container corner fittings 37 are provided on each support structure.
- the support structures 20 are each fixed by means of the container corner fittings 37 and the adjustable locks 18 on the base frame 17 of the railroad car 11 in question. The loadable units 15 can therefore be transported as a load with the railroad car 11 as normal.
- the support structures 20 can be veneered with walls, so that the support structures 20 are, as it were, designed as standard containers.
- the support structures 20 can also be somewhat smaller than in FIG Fig. 1 and 2nd shown executed and completely housed in a standardized standard container.
- Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of a loadable unit 15, in which fastening devices 39 for hanging rails 40 are arranged on an underside of the loadable unit 15 on both sides of a support section 41 designed for resting on the railway carriage 11. This enables rails 40 to be easily transported to or from the respective place of use.
- the system according to the invention can advantageously be used for versatile work on or for a railroad track, for example when installing and removing sleepers, when working on rails, during formation improvement work and much more.
- the individual devices 13 can either be rail-bound, road-bound or brought by ship to the place of use and there to Transport of objects can be used.
- the corresponding railway wagons 11 do not necessarily have to be carried along, particularly on long journeys to the place of use, but can be provided on site, for example rented.
- the loading and unloading of the units 15 onto the railway wagons 11 can be carried out using standard equipment used for the transportation of goods, which are practically universally available in rail transport.
Description
The present invention relates to a system for the rail-bound transport of objects, for example for the transport and delivery of material to or from railway work vehicles, with a plurality of interconnectable railway carriages, each of which has at least one transport track provided on a support structure, on which the objects can be moved along the railway carriages and which is designed in such a way that the transport tracks of coupled railway carriages adjoin one another, transport bodies being provided for the objects which are designed to be movable along adjacent transport tracks from railway carriages to railway carriages, or wherein the objects are piece goods and themselves form such transport bodies.
Work on railroad tracks is carried out as far as possible on a track, as this can minimize the impact on rail traffic and the pollution of the environment. For this purpose, mobile work vehicles such as ballast bed cleaning machines, underground renovation machines and the like are used, but also machines for dismantling or for the new production of railroad tracks. In practically all cases, material has to be transported to and / or removed from the work vehicles. For example, in ballast bed cleaning machines, overburden from old ballast and underground material must be removed.
By using transport bodies, the materials can be conveyed to and from the construction site in a particularly efficient and low-pollution manner. In addition, there is almost no segregation of the materials. Another advantage is that all types of materials, in particular water, small iron, sleepers and fuel can be transported in addition to road material and gravel. However, a system of the type mentioned can be used not only for the transport of material to and from railway work vehicles, but also in general for the transport of objects on railway lines.
However, the provision of railway carriages, which are provided with appropriate supporting structures, transport tracks and transport bodies, is complex and costly. A particular problem is that the approval of a specially manufactured railway wagon under railway law is not only a very time-consuming process, but also involves high costs. In addition, each country has its own relevant regulations that must be observed. Another problem is the time-consuming transportation of specially manufactured railway carriages away from an existing railroad track. In addition, specially manufactured railway vehicles are usually limited to one gauge and can only be converted to other gauges with great effort.

The invention has for its object to improve a transport system of the type mentioned. In particular, the delivery and removal of the system to its place of use and the use on rail networks of different track widths should be facilitated.
The problem is solved by a system with the features of claim 1.
In a system according to the invention it is provided that the supporting structures each form a loadable unit or are accommodated in a loadable unit, the loadable units being releasably attachable to the associated railroad car. The supporting structures, including the transport tracks, are therefore not designed as an integral part of the associated railroad car, but rather as a load for any railroad car that is basically any.
The transport tracks for the transport bodies can thus be transported in and out over the track like conventional work devices. In addition, the transport tracks can also be advantageously transported in other ways, for example on a low loader or a ship. The transport system according to the invention can therefore also be cheaper Brought to workplaces that are difficult or difficult to reach by rail.
According to the invention, the support structures are each housed in a standard container, in particular in a standard container standardized according to ISO 668, or the support structures are each designed as a standard container, in particular as a standard container standardized according to ISO 668. This facilitates transportation and in particular reduces transportation costs, since transportation vehicles for standard containers are available in a variety of ways.
The support structures can each be designed as a cuboid frame on which container corner fittings are provided. A The frame is easy to manufacture and has a comparatively low weight. Because of the corner fittings, which are also referred to as "corner castings", such a frame can be quickly and easily attached to a corresponding interlocking railroad car.
The dimensions of the frame can correspond to standard container dimensions. Alternatively, the dimensions of the frame can be enlarged compared to standard container dimensions using the available clearance profile, e.g. accommodate wider transport tracks within the frame.
At least part of the support structures and / or the transport tracks can be adjustable between a loading position and a working position. Thus, for example, certain booms can be retracted to reduce the space required during transport.
The railway wagons can be designed as standard freight wagons, in particular as container wagons. This is particularly advantageous because the elaborate approval procedure mentioned above is eliminated. Rather, the railroad cars can be rented and brought together with the loadable units on site. A particular advantage is that standardized container wagons are available in practically any country.
The railway wagons are preferably not modified or only modified in the context of their approval regulations compared to a normal container wagon. The support structures with the transport tracks can be transported as a load with the rail vehicle without Permits are required. This enables particularly fast transport between different locations.
The loadable units can preferably be fastened on railway carriages of different track widths. Depending on the place of use and the track gauge used there, a different set of railway carriages can thus be used to transport the loadable units, so that a transport system according to the invention can be used on different rail networks without any problems.
According to the invention, at least one of the loadable units has fastening devices for fastening at least one rail to an outside of the loadable unit. As a result, in addition to the transport bodies on the transport tracks, any rails which may be required can also be provided on the track at the place of work.
The fastening devices can in particular be arranged on an underside of the loadable unit on both sides of a support section designed to rest on the railroad car. The usable clearance profile is generally wider than a standard container wagon, so that there is free space to the left and right of the wagon area. This free space can be used advantageously to transport rails. The fastening devices can in particular be designed as simple suspensions.
A further embodiment of the invention provides that the loadable unit is cuboid, the width of the loadable unit exceeding the width of a standard container and the height of the loadable unit being equal to or less than the width of a standard container than the width of a standard container.
An integer multiple of the width of the loadable unit preferably corresponds to an integer multiple of the height of a standard container. Thus, for example, six standard containers or five loadable units can be stacked one on top of the other in a particular parcel of a cargo hold provided with a guide rail arrangement. In this way, a particularly good utilization of the available cargo space is possible.
