Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of devices for stimulating the plantar venous pump, intended to be used by people whose activity, in certain situations, forces them to remain standing.
  • Stimulation devices including an electrically powered mechanism are already known. These devices are often expensive and unsightly, of a complex and very cumbersome design, and especially operating by means of battery, so as to be of reduced autonomy requiring frequent reloading operations.
  • US 2006/000119 A1 describes a device where the pressure applied against the plantar venous pump is the direct result of the support of the foot on the ground. There is no means of disengaging the movement as long as the heel remains on the ground. For example, when the user is standing (but he is not moving) cushion 2a will always apply constant pressure to the plantar region.
  • the object of the present invention is to remedy the various aforementioned drawbacks, by proposing a device for stimulating the plantar venous pump, the operation of which does not require motorization, and therefore no battery, and which is of a low manufacturing cost. thus making it accessible to many people with blood circulation problems in the lower limbs.
  • the device for stimulating the plantar venous pump according to the invention is characterized in that it is designed able to take place in a shoe, and to remain hidden there, and in that it comprises on the one hand, disposed in the boot in the right place intended to be occupied by the plantar arch, a movable mounted cushion, connected to a motion transmission means, itself linked to an actuator disposed in the heel said shoe, said actuator and said transmission means being adapted to transform the support resulting from the installation of said heel to the ground, into a movement of said cushion to apply a short pressure against the plantar venous pump.
  • the assembly comprising the actuator and the transmission means is designed capable of mobilizing the cushion for a very short time so that said cushion applies a short pressure against the plantar venous pump, and for this purpose it comprises means for disengaging the movement, active beyond a predefined displacement value of the displacement.
  • the actuator comprises a movable element vertically in the heel, one end protrudes, directly or indirectly, from the bearing face of said heel, while the other end cooperates with the transmission means which consists of a lever having spring qualities.
  • the actuator comprises a vertically movable element in the heel of the shoe, one end protrudes, directly or indirectly, inside said shoe, while the other end cooperates, through means of return, with the transmission means which consists of a lever.
  • the actuator comprises a movable element vertically in the heel, while the transmission means is movable perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly to the axis of movement of said actuator.
  • the cushion is moved hydraulically or pneumatically.
  • the transmission means comprises a pump which feeds a jack which mobilizes the cushion, and which is actuated through a mechanism delivering a pulse during the installation of the heel on the ground.
  • This device is, in part, to substitute for walking on the circulatory plan by operating the plantar venous pump by simply pressing the foot on the ground, thus promoting the return of blood to the heart.
  • This device incorporated in the shoe is simple, autonomous, requires no maintenance. It has the advantage of being able to equip almost all models of shoes, classic or modern.
  • This mechanical device applies pressure on the arch at the location of the venous pump. This pressure is simply caused by the support of the heel of the shoe on the ground. The plantar venous pump is thus stimulated, the rise of the blood towards the heart takes place, and activates the blood circulation and thus limits the appearance of various venous problems.
  • This device is particularly intended for all persons standing, walking or stomping, such as traders (hairdressers, vendors behind their counter), staff in the factories in front of the machines. Staff in catering etc.
  • This device is also suitable for sedentary people in their apartments that do not go out much, the elderly for example.
  • the low cost of shoes equipped with the device according to the invention will allow a very large number of people to be able to acquire them for their health and well-being.
  • This device 2 comprises an actuator 3 comprising a slider 30 capable of sliding vertically in the heel 10 of the boot 1, one end 31 of which, on the side of the bearing face 11 of the heel 10, protrudes beyond the plane of this face. 11, while its other end 32 comes into contact with a lever 4 secured, through a fastening means 40, to the rear of the heel, while the opposite end comprises a cushion 41 disposed in the shoe 1 to the right of the location to be occupied by the plantar venous pump.
  • the slider 3 consists of a piston comprising a body 34 in which can slide a rod 35, whose head consists of the end 31.
