  13. Motor vehicle door latch according to claim 12, characterized in that the catch bearing surface (13) is lifted in respect of a pawl bearing surface (12) by a degree adjusted to the material thickness (b) of the pawl (4).
  14. Motor vehicle door latch according to claims 1 to 13, characterized in that in addition to the housing (1) a housing hood sealing the housing (1) is provided for.
