The lubrication of the roll gap is of great importance in cold rolling for the stability and quality of the rolling. Usually, an oil-water emulsion is used to lubricate the nip. Recently, however, it has also become known, instead of an oil-water emulsion pure lubricating oil - for example in the form of base oil - aufzuspritzen on the rolling stock and / or the at least one roller.
When spraying, it is necessary to apply the lubricating oil evenly over the entire applied width. Over the length of the rolling stock, however, the amount of lubricating oil can vary. Depending on the rolling conditions such as width of the rolling stock, rolling speed, stitch loss, rolling force, etc., the amount of lubricating oil applied to the rolling stock and / or the at least one roll in a given roll stand can be between 35 ml / minute and 2000 ml / Minute vary. Relative to a single spray nozzle, the amount of lubricating oil can vary between 2 ml / minute and 60 ml / minute. It is therefore, based on a single spray nozzle, necessary to apply the amount of lubricating oil over a wide range (ratio minimum to maximum about 1:30) reliably on the rolling stock and / or the at least one roller.
Another problem is that the oil inlet openings can become clogged. If such a blockage occurs, part of the rolling stock and / or the roll gap will be insufficiently lubricated. This has a significant negative impact on the rolling process.
The object of the present invention is to provide ways by which ensures the required adjustment range in a simple and reliable manner can be largely avoided and beyond blockages or at least their effects can be limited.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen des Verfahrens sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche 2 bis 14.The object is achieved by a method having the features of
According to the invention, a method of the type mentioned above is configured such that in each case a mixing chamber of a spray nozzle is supplied not only via a respective single oil inlet opening, but via a plurality of oil inlet openings in each case the respective amount of lubricating oil.
This makes it possible, for example, to supply the oil inlet openings independently of one another with a respective subset of lubricating oil. Thus, for example, in the case of a relatively small amount of lubricating oil, this amount can be supplied via only one or two of the oil inlet openings, while in the case of a relatively large amount of lubricating oil, this amount can be supplied over all or almost all oil inlet openings. Furthermore, blockages usually occur independently of each other. Even if a blockage of one of the oil inlet openings should occur, the spray nozzle in this case can continue to be supplied via the remaining oil inlet openings, the lubricating oil. In individual cases, it may indeed be possible that in the case of blockage of one of the oil inlet openings only a reduced adjustment range can be realized. However, a complete failure of the oil supply can be almost certainly avoided.
Preferably, the spray nozzles are cylindrical, so that they have a respective longitudinal axis. In this case, the nozzle outlets are preferably arranged at one of the axial ends of the respective spray nozzle and the respective at least one air inlet opening at the other axial end of the respective spray nozzle. This results in a structurally simple construction of the spray nozzles and a simple and stable Guide the compressed air in the spray nozzle, especially in the mixing chamber.
Relative to one of the spray nozzles, one of the oil inlet openings in the direction of the longitudinal axis is arranged at a defined axial position. Preferably, at least one further of the oil inlet openings in the direction of the longitudinal axis is arranged at the same axial position. As a result, the axial position for the oil inlet openings can be uniformly determined optimally.
Preferably, the oil inlet openings arranged at the defined axial position are arranged distributed uniformly around the longitudinal axis. As a result, a particularly good atomization of the lubricating oil can be achieved.
Preferably, the lubricating oil of the respective mixing chamber is fed flow controlled. As a result, the amount of lubricating oil can be dosed particularly well.
In practice, it has proved to be advantageous if the compressed air supplied to the respective mixing chamber has a pressure which is between 0.1 bar and 10 bar. The pressure can be in particular between 1.0 bar and 6.0 bar.
Preferably, a pressure with which the compressed air is supplied to the respective mixing chamber, adjusted in dependence on the amount of lubricating oil supplied to the respective mixing chamber. As a result, the formation of the aerosol can be optimized. In particular, the pressure with which the compressed air is supplied to the respective mixing chamber, increase with the amount of lubricating oil supplied to the respective mixing chamber.
In practice, it has furthermore proved to be advantageous if the at least one air inlet opening has a diameter which lies between 0.01 mm and 5 mm. Preferably, the diameter may be between 3 mm and 5 mm, in particular at least 4 mm.
In practice, it has also proved to be advantageous if the oil inlet openings have a diameter which is between 0.1 mm and 1.0 mm. The diameter may in particular be between 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm.
Preferably, the nozzle outlets are each slit-shaped. As a result, in particular a relatively wide fan beam can be generated.
In practice, it has also proven to be advantageous if the nozzle exits of the rolling stock and / or the work roll, on which the lubricating oil is injected, have a distance which is between 100 mm and 400 mm. The distance may in particular be between 150 mm and 300 mm.
In practice, it has also proved to be advantageous if the spray nozzles from each other have a distance which is between 50 mm and 300 mm. The distance may in particular be between 100 mm and 200 mm.
The lubricating oil injected by one of the spray nozzles onto the rolling stock and / or the at least one roll is sprayed onto a respective partial region of the rolling stock and / or the at least one roll. Preferably, the sub-regions assigned to the directly adjacent spray nozzles have a degree of coverage which lies between 0% and 50%. At a coverage of 0%, the subareas only adjoin one another without overlapping. At a coverage of 50%, the center of one section lies at the edge of the other section and vice versa.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Vorrichtung sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche 16 bis 24.The object is further achieved by a device having the features of

The present invention has many advantages.
