Definitions
- the invention relates to an underwear with ballistic equipment.
- an underwear with a ballistic equipment is known.
- the underwear for example a pair of underpants, pockets, are inserted into the ballistic protection packages.
- the ballistic protection packages may be, for example, a ballistic material called SPECTRAFLEX® from Allied Signal Company. It is known from the US Pat. No. 6,691,958 B1 Also, to use aramid fibers or polyethylene fibers, such as Twaron ⁇ and Dyneema TM to make the protective packages to be inserted into the pockets.
- the US 2012/0117700 A1 relates to a protective undergarment with protective areas which are extended in the underwear such that in the wearing state the area of the crotch, the groin, parts of the buttocks and the inner thigh area of both legs are covered.
- the portions of the underwear with protective function are connected to a material, in particular in the form of a polyester fabric, which forms complementary portions for the formation of the underwear.
- the present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide an underwear with a ballistic equipment that solves the disadvantages of the prior art, in particular particularly effectively protects against positioned near the ground unconventional explosive and fire devices that is easy to handle and the wearer the underwear affected as little as possible.
- the underwear can be subdivided into different protection zones. It was recognized by the inventor that the underwear must meet specific requirements for the ballistic equipment in order to develop a suitable protective effect, in particular in relation to the unconventional explosive and fire devices.
- UHMWPE ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene
- the underwear in addition to the ballistic equipment should also fulfill other properties, for example, should have a thermoregulation and a fit security, it has been found to be advantageous not to form all the undergarments from a uniform knitwear inhibiting the ingress of splinters, but essentially only the areas requiring special protection. It is therefore sufficient to arrange the UHMWPE knitwear in a first zone of the base.
- UHMWPE knitwear has been found to be particularly suitable over other materials which can also provide ballistic protection.
- the UHMWPE knitwear can be made in such a way that optimum wearing comfort can be guaranteed.
- the penetration of splinters can be minimized.
- the penetration depth of splinters is reduced and micro-splinters are virtually completely prevented.
- the occurrence of life-threatening injuries can thus be reduced.
- Survivability is increased and the risk of infection, which is particularly high in genital injuries, is reduced.
- the UHMWPE knit fabric offers virtually constant ballistic protection even when wet, after UV aging and after washing.
- the solution according to the invention can advantageously make it possible for the underwear to be composed of the knitwear made of UHMWPE and at least one further, differing textile material. It does not have to be like that according to the US Pat. No. 6,961,958 B1 provided, the underwear initially made entirely from a non-ballistic material and then provided with pockets for receiving ballistic protection packages, but the underwear can be composed of the knitwear of UHMWPE and at least one other, deviating here before textile material. This can preferably take place in that the individual pieces are sewn together at the edges or otherwise connected, so that a complete underwear is produced therefrom. As a result, a low basis weight is achieved.
- a particular advantage is that it is ensured by assembling the underwear from the knitwear made of UHMWPE and at least one other deviating further textile material that the ballistic protection effecting equipment is always at the intended location to be protected. Furthermore, it is thus easily possible for the UHMWPE knitwear to extend from a front side in one piece to the back side, thereby protecting, in particular, the perineum and the anal region, in particular from splinters which shoot upwards from the floor.
- the ballistic protection packages inserted only in pockets have virtually no protective effect here.
- the underwear of individual pieces of the knitwear of UHMWPE and at least one other textile material is composed.
- the knitwear made of UHMWPE preferably sewn.
- the part of the undergarment formed by the UHMWPE knitwear may be integral or multi-piece.
- the part located on the front side, the part located in the region of the perineum and the anal region, and the part formed on the back side may be integrally formed of the UHMWPE knitwear.
- the part of the knitwear made of UHMWPE which is arranged in the region of the trouser legs, integrally formed therewith.
- An advantage of the training of the underwear of a knitwear made of UHMWPE is that it can have a white color, so that already due The color design is a strong contrast to occurring bleeding, whereby a rapid localization of wounds resulting from stronger impacts is possible.
- the first zone forms at least that part of the base area of the underwear which, when the underwear is worn correctly, at least partially covers one of the following areas of the human body: a) internal organs, b) liver and / or Kidney and / or bladder and / or digestive organs and / or spleen, c) abdomen and urinary tract, d) aorta and venous system, e) dam and anal region.
- underwear is designed as underpants.
- the invention is not limited thereto.
- the underwear as underpants, it is advantageous if it is designed such that the underpants, if this is worn correctly by the wearer, so high that it covers even the navel - and circulates annularly at this level.
- This has the advantage that the underwear overlaps with a possibly additionally worn protective vest. In particular, at the back of the person wearing the underwear, even the kidneys can be fully protected by the underwear and possibly the protective vest.
- the underwear in one embodiment extends as underpants to the knee of a wearer, preferably ends immediately above the knee, when the wearer correctly wears the underpants.
- the at least one further textile material forms at least one second zone.
- the second zone may be defined as a zone that requires less protection and has other characteristics such as air circulation.
- the textile material of the second zone can also be designed such that an optimal fit and / or comfort is supported. Further, the textile material may be selected to facilitate welding management, that is, the removal of perspiration from the body and / or thermoregulation.
- a third zone which differs from a third textile material, which differs from the textile material, from which the first and second zones are formed.
- the knitwear made of UHMWPE by knitting or a knit fabric.
- the inventor has recognized that a knitwear made by knitting is particularly suitable for providing ballistic protection for the undergarment.
- An advantage may be an antibacterial finish of the UHMWPE knitwear.
- the ballistic knitted fabric may have hydrophilic properties.
- the knitwear has a weight per unit area of at least 150 g / m 2 , preferably 200 g / m 2 , more preferably 250 g / m 2 and most preferably 300 g / m 2 . It is advantageous if the basis weight is less than 400 g / m 2 .
- a basis weight of 300 g / m 2 to 360 g / m 2 , in particular 320 g / m 2 to 330 g / m 2 has been found to be particularly suitable.
- the thickness of the yarn used to make the UHMWPE knitwear is at least 50 dtex, preferably at least 80 dtex. It is advantageous if the thickness of the yarn used to make the UHMWPE knitwear is less than 440 dtex, preferably less than 280 dtex.
- the UHMWPE knit fabric is made of the Dyneema® plastic fiber developed by the Dutch Royal DSM N.V.
- the stitches of the knitwear made of UHMWPE are formed in such a way that a pattern of longitudinal ribs running parallel to one another is formed on the main surfaces of the knitwear, ie the upper side and the lower side.
- the sweat can be carried away from the body particularly well to the outside by the capillary effect.
- the sweat is carried away from the body of the wearer without the material feeling wet. This is accompanied by a cooling effect. It is therefore completely unproblematic if the wearer of the underwear comes into direct contact with the ballistic-effect knitwear made of UHMWPE.
- the at least one further textile material is arranged in at least one second zone of the base area of the underwear and connected to the knitwear of UHMWPE, preferably sewn.
- the underwear can also have more than two zones and correspondingly more than two different textile materials.
- zones overlap at most in the region of their adjoining edges.
- an overlapping can also be completely dispensed with, if this proves to be suitable, in particular with regard to the preferably provided sewing of the zones.
- the at least one further textile material is sewn to the knitwear made of UHMWPE. Furthermore, it is advantageous if the knitwear made of UHMWPE and the at least one further textile material are sewn together in the region of their adjoining edges and the knitwear of UHMWPE and the at least one further textile material at most overlap in the region of their adjoining edges.
- the underwear has trouser legs which have at their ends an elastic and / or trouser leg waistband which can be adjusted to the wearer of the underwear in order to fix the trouser legs to the person wearing the underwear, in particular to the legs of the wearer.
- the known ballistic equipped underpants in the pant legs are not fixable. That is, the ballistic equipment does not work reliably at the point where it is intended. Particularly in the case of an explosion originating from the ground, the trouser legs and thus also the ballistic protective packages are displaced. This is achieved by an adjustable or elastic, preferably an elastic and adjustable trouser leg collar prevents.
- a Velcro connection z. B. a connection of a Velcro and a fluff, is provided, whereby the end of the pant leg or trouser leg waistband can be made narrower or wider.
- a similar configuration is also possible at the other end of the underpants, ie in the region in which the underpants circulate in the region of a waist of the wearer.
- an elastic waistband and / or an adjustable waistband preferably using a Velcro connection, may be provided.
- the materials can be the same for all three frets.
- the waistband around the waist or the two trouser leg collars or the hem of the trouser legs can be individually adjusted via Velcro and Velcro to any body shape and thus keep the underpants in position.
- the elastic material from which the collars are made may be a polyamide / elastane blend, which is preferably used in conjunction with a rubber band incorporated therein.
- a polyamide / elastane blend which is preferably used in conjunction with a rubber band incorporated therein.
- other embodiments are conceivable to produce an elasticity.
- the design of the waistband around the waistband made of an elastic material and / or the use of a hook and loop fastener can be used in all described variants of underwear.
- an elastic configuration and / or a configuration with a hook-and-loop fastener with regard to the trouser leg collars may also be used in all described variants of the underwear, in particular also in all variants which will be described below with reference to the exemplary embodiment.
- the two layers of the fabric made of UHMWPE twisted by 90 ° to each other are arranged plane-parallel to each other.
- the inventor has recognized that a high stability against pulling in both directions of the main surfaces results from an arrangement of the at least two layers rotated by 90 °.
- the layers of the knitted fabric each have longitudinal ribs which thus extend at right angles to each other through the arrangement rotated by 90 °.
- they can be mutually rotated by 90 ° to each other, so that, for example, the first and the third and a second and a fourth layer are aligned equally.
- other arrangements are conceivable here.
- the arranged in the second zone further textile material is designed as an open and air-permeable pores having textile netting.
- This may be, for example, a polyester knitwear with a hole structure. It can be provided that the textile mesh is antibacterial equipped.
- the use of a net outside the first zone or in the second zone has the advantage that the underwear thus has a high air permeability or allows air flow.
- the further textile material arranged in a third zone is designed as an elastic textile material.
- the elastic textile material has the advantage that the underwear, in particular a pair of underpants, can precisely adapt to the body shape. To achieve optimal comfort, it is advantageous if the underwear fits well. It has been found to be advantageous if the side parts of the underwear, that is, the areas of the underwear, which rest laterally on the wearer of the underwear, are formed of an elastic material.
- the elastic material may be, for example, a so-called stretch fabric.
- the elastic textile material can also be used to form the two frets of the pant legs or waistband around the waist. This is particularly advantageous in combination with a adjustability of the frets, preferably by means of Velcro, as already described.
- the elastic textile material may preferably be made of a polyamide / elastane mixture. It may be advantageous if 50 to 90% polyamide, preferably 60 to 80%, more preferably 70 to 75% polyamide is used and the elastane has a corresponding value, so that the mixture to 95 - 100%, preferably 100% made of polyamide and elastane is formed.
- the elastic textile material can be equipped antibacterial.
- the elastic textile material may have a hydrophilic finish.
- the elastic textile material may preferably be produced by knitting or be a knitwear.
- the further textile material arranged in the second zone is designed as a flame-retardant textile material and in the first zone at least one layer of a flame-retardant material is arranged plane-parallel to the knitwear of UHMWPE.
- the underwear is flame retardant and thus increases the protection for the wearer.
- the underwear has only two or substantially only two zones.
- the flame-retardant textile material can be arranged in the second zone.
- a layer of a flame-retardant material can be arranged plane-parallel on the knitwear made of UHMWPE. It is advantageous in this case if the flame-retardant material adjoins the body of the wearer and thus the knitwear made of UHMWPE is arranged on the outside of the underwear.
- the second zone consists only of the flame-retardant textile material.
- the flame retardant material placed on the UHMWPE knit fabric may itself already have a layer of UHMWPE, but preferably with a lower basis weight and less dense configuration than the UHMWPE knit fabric inhibiting the intrusion of splinters ,
- the layer of the flame-retardant material also has a plane-parallel layer of UHMWPE, the overall ballistic protection is further improved.
- the flame retardant layer may preferably be made of an aramid / elastane blend or a blend including at least aramid and elastane.
- the flame-retardant material may be a layer of the aramid / elastane mixture or a mixture that includes at least aramid and elastane, and the other layer of polyethylene, in particular UHMWPE. This achieves increased splinter protection.
- a mixture is particularly suitable which, in addition to aramid and elastane, also has a third material, in particular polyamide antistatic (PAAS).
- the flame retardant material may preferably consist of 70 to 95% aramid, 1 to 5% polyamide antistatic and elastane (eg Lycra) at a percentage such that a total of 98 to 100% of the three materials is formed is.
- the use of a yarn consisting of 90% aramid, 7% elastane and 3% polyamide antistatic has been found to be particularly suitable. This embodiment is suitable regardless of whether the flame-retardant layer is single-layered or double-layered, ie in a combination with a layer of polyethylene.
- the two-ply embodiment of the flame-retardant layer may in particular be a knit fabric.
- the mixture which can be used for the flame retardant layer is preferably antibacterial.
- Both the waistband waistband of the undergarments and the pair of trouser leg collars and the side panels or side panels of the undergarments are preferably made of a blend including at least aramid and elastane.
- the flameproof equipment can be used in all variants described in the context of this invention, especially in all variants which are described below with reference to the embodiment.
- the first zone at the wearer of the underwear facing inside of the knitwear made of UHMWPE at least partially textile absorption surfaces are formed.
- the sweat removal to the outside is significantly improved by the absorption surfaces.
- the textile absorption surfaces may preferably run longitudinally and / or transversely on the thigh in the genital area and / or in the perineum and anal area and / or in the renal pelvis area and / or in strip form. Welding tracks are thus interrupted and the sweat is transported to the outside. Odors and liquids are transported away from the body.
- a spherical absorption laminate is particularly suitable for forming the textile absorption surface.
- a textile absorption surface which has activated charcoal.
- Blücher Technologies, Germany sells an absorption laminate under the trade name SARATOGA @, which has proven to be particularly suitable for the textile absorption surface.
- SARATOGA @ which has proven to be particularly suitable for the textile absorption surface.
- a first, preferably body-facing layer may consist of a cotton / elastane mixture.
- a second layer of the textile absorption surface may consist of activated carbon.
- a third, the body facing away layer of the textile absorption surface may be made of polyamide. The layer of polyamide can be adjacent to the knitwear made of UHMWPE.
- the absorption surface can also be formed from only one or two layers, for. B. from the position of activated carbon and another arbitrary position.
- the textile absorption surface preferably directly adjoins the body of the wearer of the underwear or is in contact with the body.
- the strips in the region of the thigh from the textile absorption surface can subdivide the UHMWPE knitwear into several separate fields or areas.
- the textile absorption strips can be used in all variants of underwear described in the context of this invention, in particular also in all variants which are described below with reference to the exemplary embodiment.
- a pocket is formed in the adapted to the respective bag protective packages can be introduced.
- It may thus preferably be a genital protection package and two leg protection packages.
- the protective packages may preferably be formed from a splinter-inhibiting knit fabric made of UHMWPE. It may be the same knitwear from which the first zone is formed.

Description
The invention relates to an underwear with ballistic equipment.
Investigations have shown that abusive abdominal injuries, particularly in the genital area, are increasing sharply among military personnel as well as civilians in crisis areas, particularly in those regions where terrorist activities are regularly reported, for example in Afghanistan. One of the reasons for this is that terrorists use unconventional explosive devices and so-called IEDs. These are mostly on the ground positioned explosive devices, which unfold their effect from the ground upwards. This causes primary splinters and secondary splinters that injure the abdomen in particular. Furthermore, the explosion accelerates particles of sand, dust and dirt. Furthermore, a blast and fire emanates from the blasting and burning devices.

Another disadvantage of known ballistic equipped underpants is that their protection packages are adapted insufficiently to the areas in the abdomen, which are in fact particularly vulnerable.
The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide an underwear with a ballistic equipment that solves the disadvantages of the prior art, in particular particularly effectively protects against positioned near the ground unconventional explosive and fire devices that is easy to handle and the wearer the underwear affected as little as possible.
This object is achieved by the features of
An examination of the injuries caused by unconventional explosive and fire devices has shown that the underwear can be subdivided into different protection zones. It was recognized by the inventor that the underwear must meet specific requirements for the ballistic equipment in order to develop a suitable protective effect, in particular in relation to the unconventional explosive and fire devices. According to the invention, provision is made for the underwear to be composed of a UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) knitwear inhibiting intrusion of splinters and at least one other textile material deviating therefrom, the UHMWPE knitwear being arranged in a first zone of the base area of the undergarment.
In view of the fact that the underwear in addition to the ballistic equipment should also fulfill other properties, for example, should have a thermoregulation and a fit security, it has been found to be advantageous not to form all the undergarments from a uniform knitwear inhibiting the ingress of splinters, but essentially only the areas requiring special protection. It is therefore sufficient to arrange the UHMWPE knitwear in a first zone of the base.
The use of a UHMWPE knitwear has been found to be particularly suitable over other materials which can also provide ballistic protection. The UHMWPE knitwear can be made in such a way that optimum wearing comfort can be guaranteed. The penetration of splinters can be minimized. The penetration depth of splinters is reduced and micro-splinters are virtually completely prevented. The occurrence of life-threatening injuries can thus be reduced. Survivability is increased and the risk of infection, which is particularly high in genital injuries, is reduced. The UHMWPE knit fabric offers virtually constant ballistic protection even when wet, after UV aging and after washing.
A particular advantage is that it is ensured by assembling the underwear from the knitwear made of UHMWPE and at least one other deviating further textile material that the ballistic protection effecting equipment is always at the intended location to be protected. Furthermore, it is thus easily possible for the UHMWPE knitwear to extend from a front side in one piece to the back side, thereby protecting, in particular, the perineum and the anal region, in particular from splinters which shoot upwards from the floor. The ballistic protection packages inserted only in pockets have virtually no protective effect here.
Although it is advantageous if the underwear of individual pieces of the knitwear of UHMWPE and at least one other textile material, as described above, is composed. Alternatively, depending also be provided that form one of the textile materials or more the entire underwear and then preferably applied to the side facing away from the body of the wearer, the knitwear made of UHMWPE, preferably sewn.
The part of the undergarment formed by the UHMWPE knitwear may be integral or multi-piece. In the embodiment of the underwear as underpants, preferably, the part located on the front side, the part located in the region of the perineum and the anal region, and the part formed on the back side may be integrally formed of the UHMWPE knitwear. Optionally, also the part of the knitwear made of UHMWPE, which is arranged in the region of the trouser legs, integrally formed therewith. However, it is preferable to form each of the two pant legs separately and to connect to the knit piece, preferably to stitch, at least partially covering the front, the perineum and the anal region and the back.
An advantage of the training of the underwear of a knitwear made of UHMWPE is that it can have a white color, so that already due The color design is a strong contrast to occurring bleeding, whereby a rapid localization of wounds resulting from stronger impacts is possible.
It is advantageous if the first zone forms at least that part of the base area of the underwear which, when the underwear is worn correctly, at least partially covers one of the following areas of the human body: a) internal organs, b) liver and / or Kidney and / or bladder and / or digestive organs and / or spleen, c) abdomen and urinary tract, d) aorta and venous system, e) dam and anal region.
It goes without saying that if the underwear to one of the aforementioned areas only partially or not adjacent, these areas of the underwear can not be protected. It is envisaged that the undergarment, when worn correctly, will cover at least one of the aforementioned areas so that it will enjoy ballistic protection or inhibit the ingress of splinters.
It is preferable if several, more preferably all of the aforementioned areas are assigned to the first zone. This results in a particularly suitable protection.
It is advantageous if the underwear is designed as underpants. However, the invention is not limited thereto.
In one embodiment of the underwear as underpants, it is advantageous if it is designed such that the underpants, if this is worn correctly by the wearer, so high that it covers even the navel - and circulates annularly at this level. This has the advantage that the underwear overlaps with a possibly additionally worn protective vest. In particular, at the back of the person wearing the underwear, even the kidneys can be fully protected by the underwear and possibly the protective vest.
It is also advantageous if the underwear in one embodiment extends as underpants to the knee of a wearer, preferably ends immediately above the knee, when the wearer correctly wears the underpants.
According to the invention, it is provided that the at least one further textile material forms at least one second zone. The second zone may be defined as a zone that requires less protection and has other characteristics such as air circulation. The textile material of the second zone can also be designed such that an optimal fit and / or comfort is supported. Further, the textile material may be selected to facilitate welding management, that is, the removal of perspiration from the body and / or thermoregulation.
According to the invention, a third zone is provided, which differs from a third textile material, which differs from the textile material, from which the first and second zones are formed.
It is advantageous if the knitwear made of UHMWPE by knitting or a knit fabric. The inventor has recognized that a knitwear made by knitting is particularly suitable for providing ballistic protection for the undergarment. The fact that the knit fabric is made by knitting, it is breathable and permeable to air, which is particularly pleasant for the wearer.
An advantage may be an antibacterial finish of the UHMWPE knitwear.
Die ballistischwirkende Maschenware kann hydrophile Eigenschaften aufweisen. The ballistic knitted fabric may have hydrophilic properties.
It is advantageous if the knitted fabric made of UHMWPE knit fabric is very tight mesh.
It is furthermore advantageous if the knitwear has a weight per unit area of at least 150 g / m 2 , preferably 200 g / m 2 , more preferably 250 g / m 2 and most preferably 300 g / m 2 . It is advantageous if the basis weight is less than 400 g / m 2 . A basis weight of 300 g / m 2 to 360 g / m 2 , in particular 320 g / m 2 to 330 g / m 2 , has been found to be particularly suitable.
It is advantageous if the thickness of the yarn used to make the UHMWPE knitwear is at least 50 dtex, preferably at least 80 dtex. It is advantageous if the thickness of the yarn used to make the UHMWPE knitwear is less than 440 dtex, preferably less than 280 dtex. One strength of the yarn for producing a UHMWPE knit fabric of 100 to 120 dtex, preferably 110 dtex, has proven to be particularly suitable.
It is advantageous if the UHMWPE knit fabric is made of the Dyneema® plastic fiber developed by the Dutch Royal DSM N.V.
It can be an advantage if the knitwear made of UHMWPE is knitted using a double yarn.
According to the invention, it is provided that the stitches of the knitwear made of UHMWPE are formed in such a way that a pattern of longitudinal ribs running parallel to one another is formed on the main surfaces of the knitwear, ie the upper side and the lower side. This results in a particularly good Schweißabtransport when the knitted fabric has parallel longitudinal ribs. In this case, the sweat can be carried away from the body particularly well to the outside by the capillary effect. The sweat is carried away from the body of the wearer without the material feeling wet. This is accompanied by a cooling effect. It is therefore completely unproblematic if the wearer of the underwear comes into direct contact with the ballistic-effect knitwear made of UHMWPE.
It is advantageous if the at least one further textile material is arranged in at least one second zone of the base area of the underwear and connected to the knitwear of UHMWPE, preferably sewn.
It is advantageous if the zones are sewn together in the area of their adjoining edges.
The underwear can also have more than two zones and correspondingly more than two different textile materials.
It is advantageous if the zones overlap at most in the region of their adjoining edges. Optionally, an overlapping can also be completely dispensed with, if this proves to be suitable, in particular with regard to the preferably provided sewing of the zones.
It is advantageous if the at least one further textile material is sewn to the knitwear made of UHMWPE. Furthermore, it is advantageous if the knitwear made of UHMWPE and the at least one further textile material are sewn together in the region of their adjoining edges and the knitwear of UHMWPE and the at least one further textile material at most overlap in the region of their adjoining edges.
It is advantageous if the underwear has trouser legs which have at their ends an elastic and / or trouser leg waistband which can be adjusted to the wearer of the underwear in order to fix the trouser legs to the person wearing the underwear, in particular to the legs of the wearer. It is a major disadvantage of the prior art that the known ballistic equipped underpants in the pant legs are not fixable. The adjustability of the federal government, for example, be achieved by a Velcro connection, z. B. a connection of a Velcro and a fluff, is provided, whereby the end of the pant leg or trouser leg waistband can be made narrower or wider. A similar configuration is also possible at the other end of the underpants, ie in the region in which the underpants circulate in the region of a waist of the wearer. Again, an elastic waistband and / or an adjustable waistband, preferably using a Velcro connection, may be provided. The materials can be the same for all three frets.
The waistband around the waist or the two trouser leg collars or the hem of the trouser legs can be individually adjusted via Velcro and Velcro to any body shape and thus keep the underpants in position.
The elastic material from which the collars are made may be a polyamide / elastane blend, which is preferably used in conjunction with a rubber band incorporated therein. Here, other embodiments are conceivable to produce an elasticity.
The design of the waistband around the waistband made of an elastic material and / or the use of a hook and loop fastener can be used in all described variants of underwear. Similarly, an elastic configuration and / or a configuration with a hook-and-loop fastener with regard to the trouser leg collars may also be used in all described variants of the underwear, in particular also in all variants which will be described below with reference to the exemplary embodiment.
It is advantageous if at least two layers or layers of the knitwear of UHMWPE are arranged on top of each other in the first zone.
As a result, an increased protective effect can be produced without the production costs increasing disproportionately.
It is advantageous if the two layers of the fabric made of UHMWPE twisted by 90 ° to each other are arranged plane-parallel to each other. The inventor has recognized that a high stability against pulling in both directions of the main surfaces results from an arrangement of the at least two layers rotated by 90 °. This is particularly advantageous if the layers of the knitted fabric each have longitudinal ribs which thus extend at right angles to each other through the arrangement rotated by 90 °. When more than two layers are used, they can be mutually rotated by 90 ° to each other, so that, for example, the first and the third and a second and a fourth layer are aligned equally. However, other arrangements are conceivable here.
It is advantageous if the arranged in the second zone further textile material is designed as an open and air-permeable pores having textile netting. This may be, for example, a polyester knitwear with a hole structure. It can be provided that the textile mesh is antibacterial equipped. The use of a net outside the first zone or in the second zone has the advantage that the underwear thus has a high air permeability or allows air flow.
According to the invention, it is provided that the further textile material arranged in a third zone is designed as an elastic textile material. The elastic textile material has the advantage that the underwear, in particular a pair of underpants, can precisely adapt to the body shape. To achieve optimal comfort, it is advantageous if the underwear fits well. It has been found to be advantageous if the side parts of the underwear, that is, the areas of the underwear, which rest laterally on the wearer of the underwear, are formed of an elastic material. The elastic material may be, for example, a so-called stretch fabric.
The elastic textile material can also be used to form the two frets of the pant legs or waistband around the waist. This is particularly advantageous in combination with a adjustability of the frets, preferably by means of Velcro, as already described.
The elastic textile material may preferably be made of a polyamide / elastane mixture. It may be advantageous if 50 to 90% polyamide, preferably 60 to 80%, more preferably 70 to 75% polyamide is used and the elastane has a corresponding value, so that the mixture to 95 - 100%, preferably 100% made of polyamide and elastane is formed.
The elastic textile material can be equipped antibacterial. The elastic textile material may have a hydrophilic finish.
The elastic textile material may preferably be produced by knitting or be a knitwear.
It can be advantageous if the further textile material arranged in the second zone is designed as a flame-retardant textile material and in the first zone at least one layer of a flame-retardant material is arranged plane-parallel to the knitwear of UHMWPE. By this configuration, the underwear is flame retardant and thus increases the protection for the wearer.
It may be advantageous if the underwear has only two or substantially only two zones. In this case, the flame-retardant textile material can be arranged in the second zone. In this case, it is possible to dispense with a textile net fabric with open pores or an elastic textile material in favor of the flame-retardant textile material. In the first zone, in which according to the invention the knitwear made of UHMWPE is used, a layer of a flame-retardant material can be arranged plane-parallel on the knitwear made of UHMWPE. It is advantageous in this case if the flame-retardant material adjoins the body of the wearer and thus the knitwear made of UHMWPE is arranged on the outside of the underwear.
It is advantageous if in the second zone only the flame-retardant textile material is used, d. H. the second zone consists only of the flame-retardant textile material. In the first zone, the flame retardant material placed on the UHMWPE knit fabric may itself already have a layer of UHMWPE, but preferably with a lower basis weight and less dense configuration than the UHMWPE knit fabric inhibiting the intrusion of splinters , However, as a result of the fact that the layer of the flame-retardant material also has a plane-parallel layer of UHMWPE, the overall ballistic protection is further improved.
The flame retardant layer may preferably be made of an aramid / elastane blend or a blend including at least aramid and elastane. In a two-ply embodiment of the flame-retardant material may be a layer of the aramid / elastane mixture or a mixture that includes at least aramid and elastane, and the other layer of polyethylene, in particular UHMWPE. This achieves increased splinter protection.
For the production of the flame retardant layer, a mixture is particularly suitable which, in addition to aramid and elastane, also has a third material, in particular polyamide antistatic (PAAS). The flame retardant material may preferably consist of 70 to 95% aramid, 1 to 5% polyamide antistatic and elastane (eg Lycra) at a percentage such that a total of 98 to 100% of the three materials is formed is. The use of a yarn consisting of 90% aramid, 7% elastane and 3% polyamide antistatic has been found to be particularly suitable. This embodiment is suitable regardless of whether the flame-retardant layer is single-layered or double-layered, ie in a combination with a layer of polyethylene.
The two-ply embodiment of the flame-retardant layer may in particular be a knit fabric.
The mixture which can be used for the flame retardant layer is preferably antibacterial.
Both the waistband waistband of the undergarments and the pair of trouser leg collars and the side panels or side panels of the undergarments are preferably made of a blend including at least aramid and elastane.
The flameproof equipment can be used in all variants described in the context of this invention, especially in all variants which are described below with reference to the embodiment.
It is advantageous if in the first zone at the wearer of the underwear facing inside of the knitwear made of UHMWPE at least partially textile absorption surfaces are formed. This achieves particularly effective welding and hygiene management. The sweat removal to the outside is significantly improved by the absorption surfaces. In particular, a particularly good antibacterial effect and odor binding can be achieved. The textile absorption surfaces may preferably run longitudinally and / or transversely on the thigh in the genital area and / or in the perineum and anal area and / or in the renal pelvis area and / or in strip form. Welding tracks are thus interrupted and the sweat is transported to the outside. Odors and liquids are transported away from the body.
A spherical absorption laminate is particularly suitable for forming the textile absorption surface. In particular, it has proven to be advantageous to use a textile absorption surface which has activated charcoal. Blücher Technologies, Germany sells an absorption laminate under the trade name SARATOGA @, which has proven to be particularly suitable for the textile absorption surface. It can be an advantage here be when the textile absorption surface has three layers. A first, preferably body-facing layer may consist of a cotton / elastane mixture. A second layer of the textile absorption surface may consist of activated carbon. A third, the body facing away layer of the textile absorption surface may be made of polyamide. The layer of polyamide can be adjacent to the knitwear made of UHMWPE.
Alternatively, the absorption surface can also be formed from only one or two layers, for. B. from the position of activated carbon and another arbitrary position.
The textile absorption surface preferably directly adjoins the body of the wearer of the underwear or is in contact with the body.
The strips in the region of the thigh from the textile absorption surface can subdivide the UHMWPE knitwear into several separate fields or areas.
The textile absorption strips can be used in all variants of underwear described in the context of this invention, in particular also in all variants which are described below with reference to the exemplary embodiment.
In one embodiment of the invention can be provided that in the areas adjacent to the thighs, when the underwear is worn correctly, and / or in a genital area, a pocket is formed in the adapted to the respective bag protective packages can be introduced.
It may thus preferably be a genital protection package and two leg protection packages.
The protective packages may preferably be formed from a splinter-inhibiting knit fabric made of UHMWPE. It may be the same knitwear from which the first zone is formed.
The protective packages may preferably be formed of at least two layers, for example four layers or eight layers. It is advantageous if the protective packages are formed by at least four, preferably eight layers arranged on one another from the knitwear made of UHMWPE.
Experiments have shown that, for example, an eight-ply UHMWPE knitwear offers a particularly high level of safety, in particular against a frontal fire.
The design of pockets into which protection packages can be inserted for the protection of the genital area and / or for the protection of the thighs is possible for all variants of underwear described in the context of this invention.
The protective packages can be made flameproof. For this purpose, any flame retardant equipment, but in particular also the flame retardant equipment can be used, which has already been described in the context of the invention.
It may be advantageous if the textile goods which form the pockets, in particular if they are net mesh, are made flame-resistant.
It may be advantageous if the bag, which is intended to receive the genital protection package, can be reached from the inside of the underwear.
It may be advantageous if the pockets for receiving the leg protection packages can be reached from the outside. It can be provided that the leg protection packages primarily protect the main blood vessels extending in the area of the thighs, that is, they are correspondingly arranged on the underwear and designed in their shape.
To form the protective packages of several layers can be provided that each half of the layers is stitched together. Thus, two partial protection packages are initially formed to form a protective package. These can then preferably be sewn together in the region of their outer edges. In an advantageous embodiment of the protective packages with eight layers can thus be provided that four layers are stitched together. The sub-packages formed in each case of four layers can then be sewn together in the outer area, so that a protective package of eight layers is formed. The protective packages, in particular the leg protection packages, can preferably be fixed by means of a Klettelements on the fluff of the waistband circulating around the waist. It is also possible, of course, another fixation of the protective packages, in particular also another embodiment of the Velcro connection.
The pockets for receiving the protective packages may be formed before preferably by a textile mesh. Particularly preferred is an open and air-permeable pores having net. The mesh may be attached to the knitwear made of UHMWPE on the outside or sewn to form the pockets for the leg protection packages. The bag for the genital area can also be made by a net, which is attached or sewn to the inside, for example, the knitwear made of UHMWPE.
To form a pocket for the genital protection package, it may also be appropriate that the knitwear made of UHMWPE is formed, at least in the genital area, from two layers which can be arranged such that they form an insertion slot into which the genital protection package is then inserted can.
It is advantageous if the underwear is worn close to the body. In particular, it is advantageous if the inventively provided knit fabric made of UHMWPE rests directly on the body. This can be deviated from in particular if a flame-retardant finish and / or textile absorption surfaces are provided.
The trays for inserting the leg protection pack and / or the genital protection pack into the respective pockets are preferably in an upper area when the undergarment is worn correctly.
It is advantageous if the underwear has flat, frictionless seams.
It is advantageous if a knitwear made of UHMWPE with a high moisture absorption is used, in particular with a Ret value according to DIN EN 31092 of 4.3895 m 2 × Pa / W +/- 20%, preferably +/- 5%, based on a single-layer design of the knitwear made of UHMWPE.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the embodiments described below with reference to the drawing.
