In addition, it is proposed that the at least one recess extends over a maximum of 25%, in particular over a maximum of 20%, advantageously over a maximum of 15% and preferably over a maximum of 10% of a longitudinal extent of the at least one support element. The at least one recess extends in particular over at least 2%, advantageously over at least 5% and preferably over at least 8% of the longitudinal extension of the at least one support element. As a result, in particular, a large bearing surface and / or a high level of comfort for a patient can be achieved.
Furthermore, it is proposed that the at least one recess extends over a maximum of 35%, in particular over a maximum of 30%, advantageously over a maximum of 25% and preferably over a maximum of 20% of a transverse extent of the at least one support element. The at least one recess extends in particular over at least 5%, advantageously over at least 10% and preferably over at least 15% of the transverse extent of the at least one support element. A "transverse extent" of the at least one support element is to be understood in particular to mean a length of a second longest side of a smallest imaginary cuboid, which is the at least one Support element barely encloses. As a result, in particular a high lateral stability can be achieved.

With regard to the transverse direction, any arrangements of the at least one recess that appear meaningful to a person skilled in the art are conceivable. For example, the at least one recess could adjoin a peripheral edge of the at least one support element which is lateral, in particular with respect to the transverse direction. Preferably, however, the at least one recess is arranged at least substantially centrally with respect to a transverse extent of the at least one support element. A first lateral boundary of the at least one recess preferably has at least a substantially equal distance to a first lateral peripheral edge of the at least one support element, such as a second lateral boundary of the at least one recess to a second lateral peripheral edge of the at least one support element, in particular the first lateral Edge is arranged opposite in the transverse direction. Two "at least substantially" equal distances shall be understood to mean, in particular, two distances whose amounts differ by less than 25%, in particular by less than 15% and advantageously by less than 10% of a value of a larger one of the amounts. As a result, it is possible, in particular, to achieve a substantially equal contact surface for both legs of a patient, as a result of which he can assume a natural reclining position in particular.
In addition, it is proposed that the at least one support element has at least one component which is formed at least partially and preferably completely from at least one material which is at least substantially rigid, in particular inelastic and / or unbendable. For example, the material could be a metal or a plastic, wherein the at least one support element could additionally advantageously have at least one padding. A "substantially at least substantially" material is to be understood in particular as meaning a material which has a rigidity, in particular a bending stiffness, of at least 1000 N / m 2 , in particular of at least 2000 N / m 2 and advantageously of at least 5000 N / m 2 , Advantageously, the at least one support element when subjected to a force of 1000 N, in particular a gravitational force, in a normal direction of the at least one support element, in particular at least a bearing surface, a deflection of at most 100%, in particular of at most 50% and advantageously of not more than 10% of an extension of the at least one support element in the normal direction. As a result, in particular a high stability can be achieved.
If the patient support unit comprises a connection unit which is provided to connect the at least one support element and a transport unit to one another, a high degree of flexibility can be achieved in particular. Various forms of connection unit that appear appropriate to a person skilled in the art are conceivable. For example, the connection unit could be provided to firmly connect the at least one support element and the transport unit, in particular if at all, then releasably, exclusively by means of a tool. In this case, for example, screw connections are conceivable. Preferably, however, the connection unit is provided for releasably connecting the at least one support element and the transport unit, in particular without tools. In this case, in particular a connection by means of at least one clamping connection, at least one latching connection and / or at least one locking is conceivable. It is also conceivable that the at least one support element has at least one guide element, in particular an opening, which can extend in particular substantially over an entire longitudinal extent of the at least one support element, in which advantageously at least one element, in particular at least one support element, the transport unit inserted is.
The
The
