Claims (8)

  1. A vacuum drawer for vacuuming foods having a closable vacuum chamber (20), a vacuum pump and a sealing bar (30) arranged within the vacuum chamber (20) for welding a receptacle placed into the chamber (20), wherein the drawer (12) is configured such that the vacuum chamber (20) is opened automatically on the pulling out of the drawer (12) and is automatically closed in an air-tight manner via a vacuum chamber closure on the pushing in of the drawer (12); and wherein the vacuum chamber closure is a cover part (22) arranged in the drawer housing or is formed by a closure surface of the drawer housing,
    characterized in that
    the vacuum chamber (20) is supported in a floating manner at the drawer slide; in that one or more lifting means in the form of a wedge (14, 15) onto which the vacuum chamber (20) is pushable at the base side on the moving in of the drawer (12) are provided in the drawer housing and which move the vacuum chamber (20) toward the vacuum chamber closure on the moving in of the drawer (12).
  2. A vacuum drawer in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that one or more fixing means (26) are provided that hold the receptacle in the required position for vacuuming on the moving in and out of the drawer.
  3. A vacuum drawer in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that at least one fixing means is a sealing lip (26) via which the receptacle can be clamped.
  4. A vacuum drawer in accordance with one of the claims 2 or 3, characterized in that at least one fixing means is a magnet by which the receptacle is fixable in the vacuum chamber, in particular to the sealing bar (30).
  5. A vacuum drawer in accordance with one of the claims 2 to 4, characterized in that at least one fixing means is a clamping bar by which the receptacle is fixable in the vacuum chamber (20), in particular to the sealing bar (30).
  6. A vacuum drawer in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing plane of the vacuum chamber closure is aligned in a slanting manner, in particular inclined toward the moving-in direction or moving-on direction of the drawer.
  7. Use of a vacuum drawer in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 6 for a piece of furniture, in particular for a piece of kitchen furniture.
  8. A piece of kitchen furniture having a vacuum drawer in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 6.
