Definitions

  • the invention relates to a burner with a surface combustion, which on the burner side has a membrane on a housing and upstream of a burner side comprises a flashback.
  • Such a burner has on an outlet side of the housing to a tissue membrane which is formed as a gas-permeable metal fiber plate.
  • This metal fiber plate is porous and further includes through holes arranged at regular intervals from each other forming a hole pattern.
  • the metal fiber plate is associated with a distribution component in the housing. Through a supply line, a fuel-air mixture is introduced into the housing and flows through the distribution component, so that after passing through the through holes in the metal fiber plate on the outlet side a flame field is formed, which has higher flames, which are caused by a regular pattern of these through holes.
  • Such housing are, for example, square, as shown in the Figures 1 and 2 is shown.
  • burners can also be cylindrical. These embodiments are suitable for particular burner systems, but their application is limited.
  • JP 2000-249311 A shows a burner with a tubular housing, which comprises a plurality of passage openings along a longitudinal axis through which the gaseous medium exits. These passage openings are covered by a heat-resistant layer of metal fibers, which are held U-shaped spanned to the passage openings. Their ends are welded along and adjacent to the passage openings with the housing.
  • This embodiment is expensive to manufacture, especially since the lateral longitudinal edges of the membrane are to be welded to a tube.
  • a burner with a tubular housing protrudes, which has a plurality of passage openings for the gaseous medium.
  • a porous ceramic mat is provided, which are positioned and fixed by retaining strips, which in turn are welded to the housing of the burner.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a burner with a surface combustion, which can be used for strip-shaped or linear heating zones and allows alignment of a tissue membrane for flame arrestor.
  • a burner which has a tissue membrane which is strip-shaped and whose length corresponds to a multiple of the width, wherein the tissue membrane has a perforated grid of at least one row of passage holes and a holding device is provided, which with the tissue membrane Distance to the flame arrester or with the interposition of a spacer element receives.
  • a preferred embodiment of the burner provides that the tissue membrane has a ratio of its length L to its width B of L / B> 5, in particular UB> 10.

  • the flame arrestor may be integrated in a portion of the housing facing the burner side.
  • the flame arrestor works as a prevention of the burn-back of the mixture into the burner and its subsequent destruction.
  • the flame arrester is based on the principle of the Faraday miner's lamp. As a result, a compact and simplified construction of a burner with a reduced number of components can be achieved.
  • the holding device advantageously takes up the tissue membrane by clamping. This has the advantage that expansions of the tissue membrane can be compensated during operation.
  • the flame arrester may be fixed to the fabric membrane adjacent or distanced by a spacer element to the housing by clamping by means of the holding device.
  • the holding device is preferably formed by two clamping strips, which have mirror-image mutually facing receptacles for positioning the tissue membrane. This can be done in a simple manner, the clamping attachment of the tissue membrane. • This holding device is preferably releasably attached to the housing. This in turn allows easy positioning and a cost-effective structure for positioning the tissue membrane for flame arrestor.
  • the housing consists of a rolled profile and the holding device for fixing the flame arrestor and the fabric membrane is fastened thereto.
  • An alternative embodiment of the burner provides that the holding device and the housing are made of a rolled material and the flame arrester and the tissue membrane are inserted into the holding device. This arrangement allows a maximum reduction of the components, since the holding device and the housing are integrally formed.
