Description

Domaine techniqueTechnical area

The invention relates to the field of swimming pools, spas and jacuzzis. More particularly, the invention relates to swimming pools, spas and jacuzzis comprising a staircase to go down into a pool and out of the pool. Specifically, the invention relates to a swimming pool, spa or jacuzzi including a staircase whose steps are in a block of light material.

Depending on the type of swimming pool, there are different ways to get out and leave the pool of a pool. For example, for pools whose structure is buried and made of concrete, it is possible to add a supernumerary structure, for example plastic, to the pool to have a staircase, such as the pool staircase described in the document US5916099 . However, this type of staircase requires the manufacture of a mold, causing a cost and making it impossible for the modularity of the staircase to adapt it to different forms of pool pools. In addition, the handling of such a staircase is difficult. Finally, it requires special fastening means to connect the stairs to the pool, thus complicating the steps of laying the stairs.

It is also possible to integrate the staircase to the structure of the pool. Such a structure is for example described in the document EP2568098 . Hollow and open polystyrene blocks are placed to form a staircase. Concrete is then poured into the blocks to obtain a solid and resistant structure that can act as a staircase. This type of staircase, however, has a number of disadvantages, particularly related to the significant construction time of the staircase and technical difficulties occurring during their establishment. Thus, the time to set up this type of staircase is relatively long: it is first necessary to lay the polystyrene blocks, then pour the concrete, and wait until the concrete completely dry before moving to the next stages of construction of the swimming pool. This also requires the builder of the pool to have relatively bulky tools to prepare and pour the concrete. In addition, when the pool is outside, it can in certain climatic conditions be impossible to proceed with the installation of the stairs. Then, when the staircase is damaged or needs to be renovated, rebuilding it can be an extremely painful operation when the staircase includes at least a concrete part, asking to destroy these concrete structures. In addition, this type of stair requires the formation of polystyrene blocks from relatively complex and expensive molds, thus reducing the interest for these blocks.

The documents FR2773188 , US2013 / 007956 and US5678256 also cover pools (swimming pool, bathtub) equipped with a staircase. More particularly the document FR2773188 describes swimming pool stairs as plastic or metal profiles or as concrete structures connected to the shell. The document US2013 / 007956 describes stairs made of solid and heavy blocks such as concrete or brick blocks. The document US5678256 describes a staircase made from rigid structures such as steel, plastic moldings or concrete structures.

There is therefore a need for a swimming pool comprising a staircase whose elements constituting the staircase or steps of the staircase are easy to manufacture and lightweight, the implementation of which is fast, without the need to resort to expensive or complex means for fixing the stairway to the swimming pool structure and / or solidification means for the stair blocks, such as, for example, concreting.

Résumé de l'inventionSummary of the invention

According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a swimming pool according to claim 1 comprising a pool, said pool having a bottom and at least one side wall, a staircase, said staircase being independent of the pool and comprising at least one lower surface, said surface lower part resting on the bottom of the pool, said staircase being formed of at least one block of material, so that in each of the at least one block is closed and solid, and in that an impermeable covering imperviously covers at least the staircase, characterized in that each of the at least one block having a density of less than 500 kg / m3.

With such a pool, the steps of the staircase are constituted by blocks of material whose upper surface is full. These blocks are lightweight, allowing easy handling by an individual. The construction of the staircase is faster because no concrete must be poured to fill and solidify the blocks of material. Thanks to the insulation of the stairs, the blocks are not in contact with the water present in the swimming pool. In addition, because of the nature of these blocks, it is extremely simple to adapt the blocks to a particular shape of the pool of the pool, without having to create a particular mold for the manufacture of the block of material. The result is a pool with a staircase whose installation is greatly facilitated, and can be performed quickly by an isolated person without using devices to prepare or pour a concrete, or to fix the stairs.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one block of material is a solid block. These blocks have a better resistance to compression forces and are therefore even more suitable for constituting the steps of a staircase because they deform more difficultly, and the life of the staircase is improved. These solid blocks retain the same advantages as the closed blocks on their upper face, namely a light enough to be handled by a single person. This results in a staircase always lighter than the stairs of the prior art, but which has properties of strength and robustness even more satisfactory in the context of application of the invention.

According to a particular embodiment, the impervious coating covering the staircase is extended by further covering the bottom of the pool and the at least one side wall. According to this particular embodiment, the assembly comprising the bottom of the pool and the side walls of the pool is covered with the same impermeable coating as the staircase, to improve the overall tightness of the whole, and more particularly from the stairs.

The invention also relates to a method according to claim 9 for constructing a pool. The method includes the following steps:
  1. a) providing a pool comprising a pool, said pool comprising a bottom and at least one side wall and a staircase formed by at least one block of material, b) laying a stairway on the bottom of the pool, said method being characterized in that said step of providing a stair is a step of providing a stairway formed by at least one block of closed and solid material, each of said at least one block having a density of less than 500 kg / m3, and in that it comprises a step c) waterproof covering of at least the staircase by an impervious coating adapted to make the basin watertight.
Another alternative method is described in a method according to claim 10.

These methods make it possible to erect a swimming pool staircase faster and more simply from light and easily handled elements.

The invention is defined by the independent claims. The dependent claims define preferred embodiments of the invention.

Description détaillée de l'inventionDetailed description of the invention

The present invention relates to a swimming pool (1) comprising a pool. In the context of this invention, the term swimming pool also includes spa type baths or Jacuzzi. With reference to the figure 1 the pool basin (1) has a bottom (2). This bottom (2) may for example be concrete in the case of pools (1) having a fully concrete structure. At least one side wall (3) is present. Of course, several sidewalls may be present. This side wall (3) may for example be vertical and be a stack of concrete blocks, a wooden structure wall, a steel wall, a plastic wall, or even a concrete veil. A staircase (10) formed of at least one block of material (4) is present. This staircase (10) is separated from the pool, that is to say that the pool and the staircase (10) are independent of each other when the staircase is covered by the impermeable coating. Each of the blocks of material (4) has a density of less than 1000 kg / m 3 , preferably less than 500 kg / m 3 , and even more preferably less than 250 kg / m 3 . Preferably, each of the blocks of material (4) has a density of between 15 kg / m 3 and 500 kg / m 3 , even more preferably between 20 kg / m 3 and 250 kg / m 3 , and still more preferably between 30 kg / m 3 and 60 kg / m 3 . By density, it is necessary to understand the density of the material constituting the block of material. Thus, when the block of material is hollow and open, it is the density occupied by the material that must be taken into account.

The at least one block of material (4) is closed on its face upper (40), that is to say it has no hole such as a hole for pouring a concrete. In other words, the blocks of material (4) are not concrete blocks. Preferably, the block of material (4) is a closed block, that is to say that none of the faces of the block of material (4) has a hole. In a still more preferred manner, the block of material (4) is a closed and solid block. By solid block, it should be understood that the block of material (4) does not comprise a cavity or meatus, in particular intended for example to receive an exogenous material, such as for example a concrete.

Preferably, the block of material (4) is a block of polystyrene, polyurethane, cork, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) recycled or not, or wood. Even more preferably, the material blocks (4) are expanded polystyrene or extruded polystyrene.

Cette résistance peut être mesurée selon la norme EN-826.Preferably, the blocks of material have a compressive strength greater than 20 kPa at 10% crushing conditions. Preferably, the blocks of material have a compressive strength greater than 60 kPa at 10% crushing conditions, and even more preferably, the blocks of material have a compressive strength greater than 150 kPa at crush conditions to 10%. This resistance can be measured according to the EN-826 standard.

The at least one block of material (4) forms at least one step (10a) of the staircase (10). In the case where the staircase (10) has several steps (10a) and comprises only a block of material (4), a single block of material (4) forms several steps, as illustrated in FIG. Fig. 1 . Alternatively, the steps (10a) of the staircase (10) can be formed by several blocks of material (4): each step (10a) can be formed by a single block of material (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e , 4f), as shown in fig.2 , or more sets of steps may be formed by separate blocks of material (4). When a plurality of material blocks (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) is present, the blocks (4) may have at least one decreasing width and / or depth in order to be able to stack the blocks to form a or several steps (10a) of the staircase (10). Preferably, all blocks of material (4) have the same height. Since a staircase according to the invention can take different forms (a trapezium, a triangle, a semi-circle or a free form), there are no limits to the dimensions and the shape that the blocks of material can have (4 ). Preferably, the blocks of material (4) are parallelepipeds, even more preferably rectangular parallelepipeds. Alternatively, when the staircase (10) is in an angle of the pool of the pool, each of the blocks of material (4) may be part of a rectangular parallelepiped sectioned according to its height. Still alternately, each of the blocks of material (4) may have at least one horizontal surface in the form of a semicircle, or a free-form surface.

When a plurality of material blocks (4) form the stair (10), it is preferable to join the blocks of material (4) together, for example by gluing the lower surface of a first block of material with the upper surface (40) of a second block of material on which the first block of material rests. Alternatively, the blocks may comprise interlocking members with a neighboring block. The interlocking members may for example be present on an upper face (40) and / or on a lower face. Still as an example, these interlocking members may comprise a tongue on a surface of a block and a groove on a surface of a block. It is understood that these organs are able to cooperate with each other, and that these organs can take different forms and positions on a surface of a block of material.

When the staircase (10) comprises a single block of material (4), the lower surface (41) of the staircase (10) corresponds to the lower surface of the block of material (4). When a plurality of blocks of material (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) is present, the lower surface (41) of the staircase (10) corresponds to the lower surface of the block of material (4a) the lower of the staircase (10) and generally forming at least a first step of the staircase (10), generally the block (4a) having a greater width and / or a greater depth, depending on the architecture of the stairs (10).

The lower surface (41) of the staircase (10) rests on the bottom (2) of the swimming pool. For example, when the staircase (10) has only one block of material (4), the lower surface of the block of material (4) and the bottom surface (2) are in contact. When a plurality of material blocks (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) compose the staircase (10), the lower surface of the block of material (4a) which has the greatest width and / or which has the greater depth is in contact with the bottom (2) of the pool (1). Preferably, the lower surface (41) of the staircase (10) is fixed on the bottom (2), for example by means of a polyurethane type glue. When several blocks of material (4) are present, the lower surface of the lower block of the staircase can be glued to the bottom of the pool, for example by means of a polyurethane type glue.

The waterproof coating (5) impermeably covers at least the staircase (10), so as to isolate it hydraulically from the external environment forming a continuous and sealed envelope. Thus, the blocks of material (4) are out of water when the basin of the pool (1) is filled with water. The impermeable coating (5) may for example be a waterproof membrane, commonly called "liner", made of plastic, for example a PVC membrane. This liner can be glued on any apparent surface of the staircase (10). Alternatively, the impermeable coating (5) may be a solid tiled material, such as a decorative ceramic, terracotta, earthenware or sandstone. It is understood that in the case of a tiled material, the joint between the different parts is achieved through a seal. Preferably, a seal may connect the impermeable coating (5) to the bottom (2) and / or a side wall (3) of the pool (1). A sealant may also completely cover the impermeable coating, especially when the latter is a tiled solid material.

3 . According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the staircase (10) is placed against at least one side wall (3). To this end, a lateral surface (42) of at least one block of material (4) is joined to a surface of the side wall (3) of the pool (1). According to a preferred embodiment, the lateral surface (42) of at least one block of material (4) is fixed to the surface of the side wall (3), for example by means of an adhesive, for example a polyurethane type glue. When a plurality of material blocks (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) is present, some or all of the material blocks (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) can thus be joined to the side wall (3) by one of their lateral surfaces (42). It is possible, in order to improve the insulation of the staircase (10), to impermeably cover the bottom (2) and the at least one side wall (3) by extending the impervious covering (5) covering the staircase (10), so that when the pool basin (1) is filled with water, the latter is not directly in contact with the bottom (2) of the pool (1) and with the side walls (3) . This embodiment is illustrated in Fig. 3 .

Preferably, the lower surface (41) of the staircase (10) and the bottom (2) of the pool basin (1) are complementary so that the surface of the at least one step (10a) of the staircase (10) is substantially horizontal. For example, if the bottom (2) of the swimming pool (1) is a flat sloping surface, then the lower surface (41) of the block of material (4 or 4a) in contact with the bottom (2) ) of the pool (1) is also a flat surface sloping at an angle similar to the angle of the slope of the bottom (2) of the pool (1), but the surface of the first step (10a) is oriented from so that it is substantially horizontal. In other words, an upper surface of a first step of the staircase (10) and the lower surface (41) resting on the bottom (2) are arranged so that said upper surface of the first step is substantially horizontal.

La présence de ce profilé permet d'améliorer la résistance du nez des marches, augmentant ainsi la robustesse générale de l'escalier (10).According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the nose of each step (10a) of the staircase (10) is covered with an "L" profile. This profile may be in a strong and resistant material, such as a metal angle, for example steel, or a rolled sheet, for example a thin aluminum sheet protected from corrosion and covered by a synthetic membrane or an elastomer, or a plastic angle, for example polyester. When the nose of each step (10a) is covered with a profile, the impervious coating (5) is located above this profile. The presence of this profile makes it possible to improve the resistance of the nose of the steps, thus increasing the overall robustness of the staircase (10).

The invention also relates to a method for constructing a swimming pool (1) comprising a staircase (10). For this purpose, the method comprises the steps of:
  1. a) providing a swimming pool (1) comprising a basin, said pool comprising a bottom (2) and at least one side wall (3), a staircase (10) formed by at least one block of material (4) closed on its upper face, each of said at least one block (4) having a density of less than 1000 kg / m 3 , and an impermeable coating (5) adapted to make the basin watertight,
  2. b) laying the staircase (10) on the bottom (2) of the pool (1),
  3. c) impervious covering of the staircase (10) by the impermeable covering (5).

According to this method, the staircase (10) provided is already mounted. Alternatively, the method may include a step of mounting the staircase (10). For this purpose, the method comprises the steps of:
  • a ') providing a swimming pool comprising a bottom (2) and at least one side wall (3), a plurality of blocks of material (4) closed on their upper face, each of the blocks (4) having a mass volume less than 1 000 kg / m 3 and an impervious covering (5) adapted to make the basin watertight,
  • b ') constructing a staircase (10) from the plurality of blocks (4) by stacking said blocks (4), at least one block (4) being placed on the bottom (2) of the pool (1). )
  • c ') impervious covering of the staircase (10) by the waterproof coating (5).

The at least one block of material (4) constituting the staircase (10) or the at least one block of material (4) provided for constructing a staircase (10) is a block of material (4) which may have the any of the features set forth above.

The lower surface (41) of the staircase (10) can be glued to the bottom (2) of the pool (1), before the covering step by the impermeable coating (5). Alternatively or additionally, a lateral surface (42) at least one block of material (4) can be glued to a surface of a side wall (3) of the pool (1), when the stair (10) is placed or mounted against a side wall (3) the pool (1). In an always alternative or complementary manner, when a plurality of material blocks (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f) are mounted in steps (10), the blocks (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f ) constituting the staircase (10) can be glued together, or, always complementarily or alternatively, be arranged between them by means of interlocking members.

Once the staircase (10) is installed or mounted on the bottom (2) of the pool (1), the step of covering the staircase (10) with the impermeable covering (5) can be completed by a step impermeable covering of the bottom (2) of the pool (1) and the side walls (3) of the pool (1) by the impermeable coating (5) imperviously covering the staircase.

The method may also include an "L" profile placement step on the nose of each step (10a) of the staircase (10). This step can take place before the step of covering the stair (10) by the impermeable coating (5).
