Description

The invention relates to a cosmetic applicator, in particular in the form of a mascara applicator according to claim 1.

Cosmetic applicators are known in a variety of embodiments.

Typical cosmetic applicators consist of radially projecting from a core bristles. 4. Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with Claim 1, characterized in that each panel (3.0 - 3.n) has been connected with a neighbouring panel in one piece both along its outer edge and also along its inner edge.
5. Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with Claim 4, characterized in that four panels form an X-shaped element and the cosmetic applicator (1) has been formed from a plurality of X-shaped elements which have been connected with one another in one piece on their outer sides.

Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with one of the aforementioned claims, characterized in that the applicator body (2) manifests a plurality of side areas, preferably each level in themselves, and a plurality of pockets (6.1 - 6.x) closed towards a plurality of other side areas is accessible from each side area.

Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with Claim 6, characterized in that at least a majority of the pockets (6.1 - 6.x) and preferably all the pockets are so deep that they cut or - preferably - cross the longitudinal axis (L) of the applicator body (2) looking in the direction of their greatest depth.

Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the panels (3.0 - 3.x) are rectangular and each panel passes into a neighbouring panel in one piece along two of its side edges on its entire length with the result that a part of the one panel is also simultaneously a part of the other directly neighbouring panel in this area.
9. Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with one of the aforementioned claims, characterized in that the applicator body does not manifest a core passing through without interruptions coaxial or parallel to its conceptual longitudinal axis (L).
10. Cosmetic applicator (1) in accordance with one of the aforementioned claims, characterized in that the applicator body (2) is in one piece and preferably comprises plastic.
