Abweichend kann für den besonderen Typ von Schlauchklemmen die Klemmkraft nicht durch einen derartigen Schneckentrieb, sondern mittels einer durch eine erfindungsgemäße Presszange erzeugten plastischen Verformung herbeigeführt werden. Einsatz findet dieser Typ von Schlauchklemmen bspw. im Automotive-Bereich, beispielsweise für eine Fixierung einer Achsmanschette auf einer Achswelle über eine plastisch verformte Schlauchklemme. Die Klemmkraft bestimmt hierbei eine Dichtkraft zwischen der Manschette und der Achswelle und eine Haltekraft oder Fixierkraft. Claims (13)
- Crimping tool (1) for crimping a workpiece, characterised in that a mechanical crimping force limitation device (63) is provided which limits the crimping force generated by the crimping tool (1) independent on the length of the crimping stroke to a predetermined set crimping force.
