Claims (4)

  1. Procédé de production d'une matière de tabac à usage oral, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes consistant à :
    ajouter un antioxydant à une matière première de tabac constituée d'une matière de tabac sèche à usage oral ayant un pH de 8 ou moins ; et
    chauffer la matière première de tabac additionnée d'antioxydant à une température de 80 °C ou plus, caractérisé en ce que la matière première de tabac est une matière obtenue en ajoutant un acide organique ou une matière de tabac sèche à usage oral présentant une acidité à une matière de tabac ayant un pH supérieur à 8 pour ajuster le pH à 8 ou moins, et en ce que l'antioxydant est choisi parmi le gallate d'épigallocatéchine, l'acide ascorbique et un extrait de thé vert.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la matière première de tabac est une matière obtenue en ajoutant de l'acide citrique à une matière de tabac ayant un pH supérieur à 8 pour ajuster le pH à 8 ou moins.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le chauffage est effectué à une température de 130 °C ou moins.
  4. Matière de tabac à usage oral qui est obtenu par le procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3.
