Claims (14)

  1. A fitting (15) for opening and closing a leaf (13) of a window or of a door, comprising a drive section which is movable for latching and unlatching the leaf (13); and a handle (17) for actuating the drive section, wherein
    the handle (17) can be brought out of a retracted position into an extended position by a pushing onto an activation section (20) and the drive section can be moved into an unlatched position by a pulling at the extended handle (17); and wherein the handle (17) is linearly displaceable between the retracted position and the extended position,
    characterized in that
    the drive section is rotatable about an axis of rotation for latching and unlatching the leaf (13), with a gear (25, 27) being provided by means of which a linear displacement movement of the handle (17) can be converted into a rotational movement of the drive section.
  2. A fitting in accordance with claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the gear (25, 27) comprises a gear rack section (25) provided at the handle (17); and a toothed wheel element (27) cooperating with the gear rack section.
  3. A fitting in accordance with one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the handle (17) has a base section (22) and a grip section (30), with the grip section (30) being movable with respect to the base section (22) in order to retract and extend the handle (17), and with the grip section (30) being movable together with the base section (22) with respect to a bearing section (23) of the fitting (15) in order to unlatch the leaf (13).
  4. A fitting in accordance with claim 3,
    characterized in that
    the grip section (30) is preloaded with respect to the base section (22) in the direction of the extended position by means of a spring device (33) and can be fixed in the retracted position by means of a holding apparatus (31, 37).
  5. A fitting in accordance with claim 4,
    characterized in that
    the holding apparatus (31, 37) comprises a compulsory guide which is effective between the base section (22) and the grip section (30) and which defines a control cam having at least one undercut (43).
  6. A fitting in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the handle (17) comprises a push button (19) whose front surface forms the activation section (20), with the front surface in particular being circular.
  7. A fitting in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the drive section is preloaded into a latched position by means of a spring device (32).
  8. A fitting arrangement comprising a fitting (15) which is to be attached to a leaf (13) of a window or of a door and which is configured in accordance with any one of the preceding claims; and a striker plate (50) which is to be attached to a frame (11) of the window or of the door and which has at least one reception opening (53) for receiving a latching element (28) of the fitting (15),
    characterized in that
    the reception opening (53) is bounded by a ramp section (55) which faces it when the leaf (13) is open and which forms a run-up slope for the latching element (28).
  9. A fitting arrangement in accordance with claim 8,
    characterized in that
    at least one holding contour (57) engaging behind the latching element (28) adjoins the ramp section (55).
  10. A fitting arrangement in accordance with claim 9,
    characterized in that
    the reception opening (53) of the striker plate (50) defines at least two holding contours (57, 61) which are arranged behind one another with respect to a closing movement of the leaf (13), with the at least two holding contours in particular being bounded by respective ramp sections (55, 59).
  11. A window or a door comprising a leaf (13) which is movable with respect to a frame (11); and a fitting (15) which is to be attached to the leaf (13) and which is configured in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 7,
    characterized in that
    the handle (17) is lowered in the leaf (13) in the retracted position.
  12. A window or a door in accordance with claim 11,
    characterized in that
    only the activation section (20) is exposed when the handle (17) is in the retracted position; and/or in that,
    in the extended position, the handle (17) at least partly projects from a surface region of the leaf (13) which surrounds it.
  13. A window or a door in accordance with one of the claims 11 or 12, characterized in that
    the handle (17) is in areal alignment with a surface region of the leaf (13) which surrounds it when it is in the retracted position.
  14. A window or a door in accordance with any one of the claims 11 to 13,
    characterized in that
    the leaf (13) is configured as frameless; and/or in that the handle (17) is movable transversely to the plane defined by the leaf (13).
