Definitions
- the invention relates to an electric cable, in particular for solar or wind power plants, with at least one preferably stranded conductor, which is provided with a lying between an inner and an outer plastic sheath Metallarmtechnik.
- Such electric cables are suitable for the transport of large currents in the air and in the ground. They are therefore mainly in large Solar power plants used for energy transmission of direct or alternating currents, especially where a high current density also causes high thermal heating, which is added to the heating by the sun, or where at a given current the smallest possible heating should occur.
- the metal reinforcement of the cables should in turn ensure that the cables are well protected against mechanical damage or against rat or termite bites.
- the metal reinforcement is made of steel or aluminum wires, respectively wrapped steel or other metal bands. Such a reinforcement is expensive to manufacture and has only a limited effect in terms of mechanical protection.
- the invention has for its object to provide an electric cable of the type mentioned, which is characterized by the highest possible heat radiation, low heat transfer losses and long service life by low production costs and good insulation properties and good protection against mechanical damage.
- the metal reinforcement is formed by a longitudinal band construction consisting of one or more longitudinal bands applied concentrically around the inner plastic shell, which are preferably adhesively bonded to the overlap site with an adhesive applied there, in particular a hot-melt adhesive.
- a longitudinal band construction consisting of one or more longitudinal bands applied concentrically around the inner plastic shell, which are preferably adhesively bonded to the overlap site with an adhesive applied there, in particular a hot-melt adhesive.
- they can also be welded or folded only long-running.
- the single-ended conductor structure results in the largest possible contact surface on both sides, which brings about the best possible radial and transverse heat conduction in the cable.
- the transverse water tightness is also realized almost without additional costs.
- the life of the insulation can be significantly improved because the electrical aging is pushed by the moisture diffusion.
- the metallic barrier permanently blocks the ingress of water.
- the tightness and mechanical connection of the overlapping point is preferably ensured with an adhesive applied there, in particular a hot-melt adhesive.
- the inventive reinforcement also allows the management of the protection potential and the shielding against electric fields, in the case of a short circuit, the full-area Bandarmtechnik can derive very large currents without damage, because the thermal full contact with the plastic shells allows extremely large amounts of heat to dissipate immediately, causing overheating the reinforcement is avoided.
- the advantages of the inventive reinforcement are fully effective both in single-core cables and in multiple conductors. Due to the geometry of stranded coaxial two- or four-conductor cables for direct current or single-phase systems are also symmetrical electric fields, a property that is particularly interesting in areas where higher-frequency interference currents of the inverter both on the DC and on the AC side, the DC currents resp. 50 or 60 Hz superimpose currents. In a three-phase system, three twisted feeders produce the best result.
- the electric cable 1 comprises an inner conductor 2 made of a plurality of stranded wires made of aluminum or copper with an inner plastic shell 3 and a concentrically applied armor, consisting of a longitudinal band 4, which consists of a metal foil of aluminum, copper, steel or brass with approx. 0.3 mm thickness is made.
- the reinforcing strip 4 is preferably glued longitudinally at the overlap point 5 and thus forms a watertight diffusion barrier, which ensures the transverse water tightness of the electric cable.
- an adhesive is particularly suitable applied in the Kochlappungsstelfe 5 of the tape hot melt.
- the reinforcing strip 4 can also be glued over the entire surface with the outer plastic sheath 6, 7 by an adhesive layer.
- an outer plastic jacket 6, 7 is preferably applied with a plurality of functional layers, for example, an inner layer 6 with very flame-retardant behavior and an outer layer 7, a so-called Termigon layer against termite and rodents and to protect the electrical cable against abrasion when pulling in the cable is effective.
- the metal reinforcement 4 consists of a single longitudinal band which is glued to the overlap point 5.
- a metal reinforcement a band construction comprising a plurality of longitudinal individual bands which are glued to one another at the overlapping points.
- the plastic insulation of the cable consisting of the inner plastic sheath 3 and the outer plastic sheath 6, 7 is produced by means of extruder machines, which make it possible, either only one layer or simultaneously in one operation several layers apply. In the inventive electric cable both methods are applicable.
- two feeders 1 a, 1 b can be stranded together to form a two-conductor cable 8. They thus allow the transport of the forward and reverse current, whereby at DC the two polarities + and - are performed.
- Fig. 3 it is also possible to manufacture four such stranded conductors 1a to 1d into a four-conductor cable 9, thereby further increasing the conductor surface and the cooling surface, and improving the transporting capacity at a given cross section.
- the insulation systems each with an inner semiconductor, a dielectric and an outer semiconductor, wherein the semiconductor layers may consist of strips, graphite or an extruded material.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
