  • Les pièces optiques interposées sur le trajet des rayons lumineux entre le guide de lumière et le miroir, au droit des épargnes de celui-ci, sont essentiellement composées de pièces optiques cristal transparent en PMMA (poly(méthacrylate de méthyle)) ou en PC (polycarbonate) munies d'éléments optiques de type prismes, tandis que lesdits prismes sont des prismes collimateurs situés au droit de la LED et diffuseurs.
  • Des moyens pour une fonction stop sans effet 3D peuvent être prévus en complément ou à la place des moyens pour fonction stop avec effet 3D dans le dispositif selon l'invention, pour améliorer encore la sécurité au niveau des signaux stop.
  • Pour le guidage de la lumière émise par une LED, notamment pour la foction lanterne, on prévoit avantageusement un espace entre la platine du boîtier et le miroir, de telle sorte que le guide de lumière conduisant ces rayons lumineux puisse déboucher directement en périphérie de l'espace prévu entre ledit miroir et l'écran semi-transparent (voir les Figures 2 et 4 annexées).
  • Si l'on choisit de laisser les rayons émis par une ou plusieurs LED progresser sans effet 3D, il suffit alors de munir d'épargnes appropriées coordonnées, au droit de ces rayons, le miroir et l'écran semi-transparent.
  • On peut ajuster la focalisation des rayons lumineux émis par le dispositif en jouant simplement sur la géométrie du miroir, qui peut ainsi être plan, conique, elliptique, semi-elliptique, hyperbolique, spiral, spiral logarithmique, hélicoïdal, ou autre.

  • Means for a stop function without a 3D effect can be provided in addition to or instead of the means for a stop function with a 3D effect in the device according to the invention, to further improve safety at the level of the stop signals.
  • For guiding the light emitted by an LED, in particular for the lantern function, a space is advantageously provided between the plate of the housing and the mirror, of such that the light guide conducting these light rays can open directly to the periphery of the space provided between said mirror and the semi-transparent screen (see Figures 2 and 4 appended).
  • If one chooses to let the rays emitted by one or more LEDs progress without a 3D effect, it is then sufficient to provide appropriate coordinated savings, in line with these rays, the mirror and the semi-transparent screen.
  • The focusing of the light rays emitted by the device can be adjusted by simply playing on the geometry of the mirror, which can thus be plane, conical, elliptical, semi-elliptical, hyperbolic, spiral, logarithmic spiral, helical, or other.

Claims (9)

  1. A rear light device for motor vehicles, adapted to provide a 3D effect, including several LED light sources, said device being composed of a module comprising, from the rear to the front, in the direction of the substantially parallel light beams emitted by said LEDs:
    - a printed circuit board (1), shortened as PCB, including at least three LEDs, made operational by suitable printed circuits and an external power supply,
    - a light guide (2),
    - optical parts (3, 3') suitable for guiding and/or distributing at convenience the beams of one or several of said LEDs (10),
    - a mirror (4), with or without resist areas (8),
    - at least one semi-transparent screen (5),
    characterized in that the device comprises at least two LEDs (10') associated with means intended to ensure the sidelight light guide function, and two additional red LEDs (10) for the stop function and/or two additional orange LEDs (10) for the turn-signal function and/or two additional white LEDs (10) for the reversing function, and in that the mirror (4) includes at least one resist area (8) located opposite at least one additional LED (10) for the stop function and/or for the turn-signal function or for the reversing function, and in that the semi-transparent screen (5) includes a resist area (9) opposite each of the light beams coming from the additional LEDs (10) or opposite some of them, and in that the function of one or several additional LEDs (10) has itself no 3D effect, the light emitted by this or these allocated additional LEDs (10) passing through a suitable optical system for its splitting into sub-beams (11), which pass through a suitable resist area (8) of the mirror (4) and a suitable resist area (9) of the semi-transparent screen (5).
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that it is in modular form and comprises only LEDs as light sources.
  3. The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it includes, apart from assembly and/or joining elements, as well as conventional wires and connections, at least one printed circuit board (1), at least one light guide (2), at least two optical light-concentration parts for the stop function (3) and at least two optical light-diffusion parts for the stop function (3'), a mirror (4), a semi-transparent screen (5), and an assembly casing (6).
  4. The device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the mirror is planar, conical, elliptical, semi-elliptical, hyperbolic, spiral, logarithmic spiral, helical or other.
  5. The device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the stop function is completed by a turn-signal function, with an amber LED and suitable control electronics.
  6. The device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the optical parts interposed on the path of the light rays between the printed circuit board and the light guide are essentially composed of transparent crystal optical parts made of PMMA or PC, provided with optical elements of prism type, covered or not with grained surfaces or a material itself opalescent, also made of PMMA or PC, which make it possible to provide the stop, turn-signal or reversing function.
  7. The device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the optical parts interposed on the path of the light rays between the light guide and the mirror, in alignment with the resist areas of the latter, are essentially composed of transparent crystal optical parts made of PMMA or PC, provided with optical elements of prism type, whereas said prisms are collimating prisms located in alignment with the LED and diffusers.
  8. The device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a space is provided between the plate of the casing (6) and the mirror (4), so that the light guide guiding the light rays can lead directly to the periphery of the space provided between said mirror (4) and the semi-transparent screen (5).
  9. A light for motor vehicle, characterized in that it includes a rear light device according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
