Zusätzlich kann eine Sicke angeordnet werden, die von der Innenfläche, also der Fläche des Achsaufnahmebereiches, die zu dem zu befestigenden Achskörper gewandt ist, weg weisend hin zur Außenfläche des Parabellenkers gerichtet ist. Es kann auch eine einwärts, aber auch eine auswärts gerichtete Sicke vorgesehen sein. Durch die Sicke ist jedoch nicht nur der Parabellenker zu verbreitern. Vielmehr ist durch die Sicke auch die Festigkeit des Parabellenkers und damit die Fähigkeit, große Kräfte aufzunehmen, wesentlich erhöht. Insgesamt kann die Verbindung zwischen Achskörper und Parabellenlenker leichter ausgeführt werden, da wenige Verbindungselemente benötigt werden, was zu Kostenvorteilen führt.
