Um die Demontage der Hochdruckwalzenpresse beim Ausbau der Walzen zu vereinfachen, wurde in der DE 10 2005 045 273 A1 vorgeschlagen, den Maschinenrahmen so zu konstruieren, dass dieser leicht zu öffnen ist und in welchem die Walzen über gleitend im Maschinenrahmen angeordnete Lagerböcke aus dem Maschinenrahmen herausgeschoben werden können.
