Description

The invention relates to a cassette awning with a cloth shaft rotatably mounted in a housing, from which a cloth can be unwound, the front end of which is fastened to an extension profile, the awning having fastening brackets for fastening to a building.

Such awnings are known. To fasten such awnings to a building wall, brackets are fastened to the building wall, the awning then being hooked into these brackets by the housing of the awning having a corresponding contour that is suitable for being fixed in the console. In most cases, the housing suspended in the console is finally secured against being flipped up to prevent it from slipping out of the console.

Such an awning is from the EP 2 199 484 A2 known.

A disadvantage of such awnings is that the fastening of the awning housing via the brackets on the building wall offers a visually unappealing overall impression, since the bracket and the fastening screws etc. are visible. Another disadvantage is that dirt can settle in the area of the fastenings, such as screws, securing elements, clamps and the like, which in the long term can not only lead to an optical impairment of the overall impression, but also to possible damage to the console and the fasteners. It is known that pollution lasts for a long time Period can lead to screw connections being no longer easily detachable.

The object of the invention is to develop a cassette awning of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that the disadvantages mentioned are overcome, in particular that it is possible to protect the fastening brackets against external influences, such as rainwater pollution and the like, and at the same time to ensure an optically appealing overall impression .

This object is achieved by a cassette awning according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

Particularly advantageous in the case of the cassette awning with a fabric shaft rotatably mounted in a housing, from which a fabric can be unwound, the front end of which is fastened to an extension profile, the awning having fastening brackets for fastening a building, it is that the housing on both sides at the ends is angled and the mounting brackets are covered by the angled ends of the housing.

The term cassette awning means such an awning in which a housing is provided in which the fabric shaft is rotatably supported, in particular such an awning in which the housing is closed by the extension profile when the awning is retracted, so that the fabric shaft has rainwater protected and protected from further environmental influences in which the cassette or the housing is arranged.

The terms front end and the sides refer to the extension direction of the awning, ie the extension profile to which the front end of the cover that can be unwound from the cover shaft is attached is extended to the front. Accordingly, the term of the two sides of the housing also relates to the extension direction of the awning, that is to say that if you stand under the awning and look at the housing, the two sides of the awning on the right and left and thus the two end sides of the housing are meant.

According to the invention, the housing is angled at both ends by 90 °, the fastening brackets, by means of which the awning is fastened to a building, being covered by the angled ends of the housing.

Because the awning housing is angled on both ends and covers the mounting brackets, the mounting brackets are protected against environmental influences. Dirt deposits, rainwater deposits, etc. can no longer form, which ensures that the brackets and the fastening elements, such as screws, washers, securing elements, clamping stones and the like, are still intact after a very long time and that this cannot happen that screws have eaten, as is known after a very long time with the awnings according to the prior art and can often lead to problems with disassembly or repair.

Furthermore, because the housing is angled at both ends at the ends and the brackets are covered, a very advantageous overall optical solution is realized, since the fastening brackets are no longer visible.

The angled housing ends are particularly preferably formed on both sides by a miter of 45 °.

Diagonal connectors are preferably arranged between the housing and the angled ends of the housing, in particular at an angle of 45 ° to the extension direction of the extension profile.

These diagonal connectors can thus lie in the miter and form the connection between the basic housing along the fabric shaft and the angled housing ends.

With such a miter at 45 °, it is possible to mirror the housing contour of the awning housing at an angle bisector and to continue the exact same housing contour as an angled end towards the building wall and to cover the mounting brackets.

It is particularly advantageous that the basic geometry, ie. H. the cross-section of the housing can be guided across the entire width of the awning and can be continued through mirroring at an angle bisector at both lateral ends towards the building wall, so that an overall visually appealing homogeneous overall solution results.

According to the invention, at least one cable duct and / or an electrical connection is integrated in at least one of the angled housing ends.

By integrating an electrical connection and / or a cable duct, the electrical connection for the drive motor of the awning is also concealed and led through one of the angled housing ends into the awning housing. It is particularly advantageous that, on the one hand, the electrical connection is protected from environmental influences and rainwater and, furthermore, an optically very appealing overall solution is created in that, in addition to the fastening brackets, the electrical connection can also be made concealed by concealing it through an angled housing end and in front Protected against environmental influences from the building wall into the awning housing.

An electronic control of the awning, in particular a fabric shaft drive, is preferably in one or both of the angled housing ends and / or a lighting device, and / or a remote control receiver.

This makes it possible to integrate the control of the awning into such a housing end.

A revision flap is preferably arranged in one or both of the angled housing ends, through which an electronic control of the awning and / or a remote control receiver and / or an electromotive cloth shaft drive and / or an electrical connection area is accessible. Another removable cover can be arranged behind the inspection flap to protect the electronic components and electronic assemblies located behind it.

By arranging such an inspection flap in one or both of the angled housing ends, all electronic components and assemblies of the awning are accessible, in particular the terminal box, via which the awning can be supplied with electrical power, can thereby be made accessible so that the awning can be clamped on to the electrical network of the building to which the awning is to be attached can be easily manufactured.

The revision flap can also be used to access the electric motor for driving the awning fabric shaft, which is preferably designed as a tubular motor and is arranged in the fabric shaft.

Such an inspection flap can in particular be formed by a removable housing part.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, lighting means are arranged on the underside of the awning housing or installed in the housing base in order to illuminate the space under the awning. By arranging one or more lighting means on the underside of the awning housing, in particular in the form of the lighting means installed in the bottom of the housing, the space below the awning can be independent of the position of the extension profile, ie both when the awning is retracted and when it is partially or completely extended awning to be illuminated.

The electrical supply of these lighting means can take place via the central electrical connection of the awning and the supply lines can be laid within the awning housing protected against external influences.

There is also the option of integrating a dimmer into the awning to dim the lighting, i.e. to be able to regulate their brightness.

The awning preferably has a radio receiver and an electric fabric shaft drive, the fabric shaft drive being controllable by means of a radio remote control.

Alternatively or cumulatively, a radio receiver and integrated lighting are provided, the lighting being controllable by means of a radio remote control.

Furthermore, alternatively or cumulatively, a heating device, which can be formed from one or more radiant heaters, can be integrated into the awning system by arranging one or more radiant heaters below the awning housing, in particular directly or indirectly attached to the awning housing. A radio receiver can be provided in the awning so that the heating device can be controlled by means of a radio remote control, in particular the heating output can be adjusted.

The radio receiver and the control device are preferably arranged in the angled housing end in which the electrical Connection area for connection to the electrical network of the building, to which the awning is to be attached, all electronic components and assemblies and connection areas preferably being accessible through an inspection flap in the housing end.

The housing is preferably closed by the extension profile when the extension profile is completely retracted, the extension profile being chamfered at the lateral ends and moving against corresponding sealing areas on the housing.

The extension profile at the lateral ends is particularly preferably bevelled by 45 ° and, when this is completely retracted, moves against corresponding sealing areas on the housing, the contact plane between the housing and extension profile being in the miter of the awning housing which is angled at the end.

Such a beveling of the extension profile at the lateral ends and the arrangement of corresponding corresponding sealing areas on the housing ensure that the housing is completely and reliably sealed by the extension profile when the awning is completely retracted, so that the fabric shaft in the housing is protected against rainwater and others Environmental influences is reliably protected.

The awning particularly preferably has a valance shaft arranged in or on the extension profile, from which a valance can be unwound vertically downward.

In particular, an electric motor drive can be arranged in the valance shaft, by means of which the valance is extended and retracted by an electric motor. The valance shaft motor is preferably controlled via the same radio remote control as the control of the fabric shaft drive of the awning itself and the optionally arranged lighting device and / or heating device.

Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an awning according to the invention in the retracted state. Fig. 2 shows the awning Fig. 1 in the top view. The awning according to the invention is a cassette awning in which a fabric shaft is rotatably mounted in the housing 1. A cloth can be unwound from the cloth shaft. The front end of the cloth is attached to the extension profile 2. The cloth shaft 3 is in the representations Fig. 1 and 2nd not recognizable, but in the sectional view Fig. 3 visible. In the illustration Fig. 3 is also visible the cloth 4, which is wound on the cloth shaft 3.

The housing 1 of the awning is angled by 90 ° at both ends.

As in the Fig. 1 and 2nd recognizable, the angled housing ends 5a, 5b are formed in that a miter 6a, 6b is provided on both sides of the housing 1. This miter 6a, 6b forms the bisector of the 90 ° angle about which the housing is angled at both ends, the housing cross section being mirrored at the miter line 6a, 6b and continued in the direction of the building wall, not shown.

The angled housing ends 5a, 5b enclose the in the assembled state Fig. 1 and 2nd not visible mounting brackets 7, as in the Fig. 3 in section and in the exploded view Fig. 4 is visible.

The extension profile 2 is chamfered at the end by 45 ° and fits exactly into the contact planes with the miter lines 6a, 6b, so that the housing 1 is completely closed when the drop profile 2 is retracted.

Fig. 3 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch die Markise. Fig. 3 shows a cross section through the awning. In the cross section according to Fig. 3 the housing 1 and the extension profile 2 are visible.

The fabric shaft 3 with the awning fabric 4 wound thereon is rotatably mounted in the housing 1.

The front end of the awning fabric 4 is fixed in the welt 4a in the extension profile 2.

The cloth shaft 3 can be driven by an electric motor. This means if the cloth shaft is turned to the left in the cutting plane Fig. 3 the articulated arms 8, which are under spring tension, automatically raise up so that the extension profile 2 is extended.

The awning is fastened by means of the fastening brackets 7, as shown in the section Fig. 3 recognizable, are completely covered by the angled housing ends 5.

In the bottom of the housing 1 lamps 9 are installed, which serve to illuminate the room below the awning regardless of the position of the extension profile 2, that is, to illuminate the room below the awning both when the awning is completely retracted, as in Fig. 3 shown, can also take place with partially or fully extended extension profile 2.

Fig. 4 shows an exploded view of the awning according to the 1 to 3 with the lower housing shell 1a and the box roof profile 1b.

The fabric shaft 3 with the awning fabric 4 wound thereon is rotatably mounted in the housing.

The fabric shaft assembly formed from fabric shaft 3 and awning fabric 4 is mounted in sliding blocks 10 in the housing 1.

To support the fabric shaft 3, a fabric shaft support profile 11 is provided.

Furthermore, a sliding profile is provided, on which the awning fabric 4 can slide along when the extending profile 2 is extended and retracted.

The fabric shaft support profile 11 is carried by the support profile holder 13. Furthermore, the housing 1 has a front panel profile 1c.

The drop profile assembly 2 has drop profile end caps 2a, 2b at the end, which are at a 45 ° angle to the extension direction of the awning, so that when the drop profile assembly 2 is moved into the awning housing 1 it lies sealingly against the sealing areas arranged in the area of the miter 6a, 6b and seals the housing to the front so that no rainwater or dirty water can enter.

The housing 1 is fastened to the building wall by means of the wall bracket 7. For this purpose, the housing 1 under the in Fig. 4 visible hook on the wall bracket 7 and then swung down so that the housing 1 is held by its own weight in the wall brackets 7. By means of the Fig. 4 recognizable terminal strip and the fastening screws, the housing 1 is then fixed and secured in the wall brackets 7. Of the two wall brackets 7 is in the exploded view Figure 4 only one pictured. A wall bracket 7 is provided on the left and on the right side of the awning for fastening the awning.

The wall brackets 7 are covered by the angled housing ends 5a, 5b, so that the wall brackets 7 and all fastening elements are protected against the weather.

Furthermore, in Fig. 4 shown the prefabricated arm holder assembly 14, which is inserted into the awning housing 1.

The connection between the housing and the angled housing end 5a is made by the diagonal connector 15. This diagonal connector 15 is arranged at a 45 ° angle to the extension direction of the awning and forms the miter between the housing 1 and the angled housing end 5a or on the opposite side the angled housing end 5b. The structure of the awning according to the 1 to 4 is largely symmetrical, with the electronics assembly of the awning being arranged in the angled end 5a of the housing 1 on the right-hand side in the representations according to the figures, via which the fabric shaft motor and the lighting 9 are controlled by means of a remote control. For this purpose, a cover 16 is provided to protect the electronic components located behind against splash water and unintentional contact when the side console cover 17 is opened.

The side console cover 17 forms the optical ends of the angled end 5a of the housing 1 of the awning on the right side.

The side console cover 17 is removable and thus simultaneously forms the inspection flap for access to the electronic components, which are arranged so that they are accessible in the right housing end 5a.

At the same time, the connection area with the terminal box for connecting the awning to the electrical network of the building is provided in this angled housing end 5a.

In the exploded view Fig. 4 can also be seen the tension wire receptacle 18, which biases the housing by means of a Introduces tension wire into the structure. This tension wire receptacle 18 makes it possible to replace the fabric shaft or fabric without having to completely disassemble the awning, since the pretension can be maintained. This is very helpful, for example, when replacing the lighting means 9.

Furthermore is in the exploded view Fig. 4 the cloth shaft clamp 19 can be seen.

The cloth shaft clamping piece 19, together with the cloth shaft holder, binds the sliding block guide within which the sliding block 10 of the cloth shaft assembly is slidably mounted. The cloth shaft holder forms the lower half of the sliding block guide and the cloth shaft clamping piece 19 forms the upper half of the sliding block guide.

Furthermore, the cloth shaft clamping piece 19 serves to accommodate the electronic assembly on the side facing outwards. To protect the electronic components arranged on the cloth shaft clamping piece 19, the cover 16 is also provided in order to prevent accidental touching of the electronic components when the side console cover 17 has been removed. A visual and splash water protection 20 is also arranged.

A particularly advantageous solution results from the arrangement of the diagonal connector 15 at a 45 ° angle relative to the extension direction of the awning, as a result of which the modular construction of the awning can be realized overall, so that on the one hand particularly advantageous manufacture, but on the other hand also particularly advantageous assembly and final assembly of the awning on the building is possible.
