Claims (10)

  1. Base made of a foldable material, such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or paperboard, having side walls (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), a contact area formed by base flaps (9) for positioning on a ground, and a receiving area formed by cover flaps (15, 16), facing away from the contact area, wherein the side walls can be erected from a transport state lying flat upon one another at least in some regions to a use state, in which they form an annular hollow edge defined by inner and outer side walls (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), which are spaced apart from one another by means of the base and cover flaps (9, 15, 16), characterized in that the inner side walls (5, 6, 7, 8) are connected with each other by means of pivoting flaps (10) which are articulated to one another.
  2. The base according to claim 1, characterized in that the cover flaps (15, 16) form a closed hinged cover.
  3. The base according to claim 2, characterized in that at least two of the cover flaps (15) are substantially rectangular, wherein their extension in the direction away from the outer side wall (1, 3) on which they are articulated corresponds to half the width of a respectively adjacent outer side wall (2, 4).
  4. The base according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an adhesive flap (11, 12) is articulated to each inner side wall (5, 6, 7, 8) on the side facing away from the respective base flap (9) by means of a first groove or bending line (13), which adhesive flap is connected to the respective cover flap (15, 16) in such a manner that the first groove or bending line (13) is disposed parallel offset with respect to a second groove or bending line (14), with which the respective cover flap (15, 16) is articulated on the respective outer side wall (1, 2, 3, 4).

The base according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pivoting flaps (10) are articulated on the inner side walls (5, 6, 7, 8) in such a manner that the pivoting flaps (10) each project by a material thickness in the direction of the base flaps (9) and in the direction of the cover flaps (15, 16).
