Definitions
- the invention relates to a base made of a foldable material, such as cardboard, corrugated board or cardboard, with side walls, a contact surface formed by bottom tabs for placement on a substrate and a contact surface facing away from the contact surface formed by cover tabs.
- the side walls can be erected from an at least partially flat superimposed transport state into a use state in which they form an annular hollow edge, which is defined by spaced from each other via the bottom and cover flaps inner and outer side walls.
- the invention relates to a blank for producing such a base.
- a handle height For the presentation and the sale of goods from goods carriers, it is known to arrange this handle height and thus easily visible for a consumer and easily accessible.
- goods carriers such as spouts, trays or the like.
- displays can also be positioned on such pedestals in a visually easily perceivable height.
- a pedestal may be placed directly on a floor or the like or formed as a so-called pallet base for connection to a pallet.
- pallet sockets are connected to a plastic 1 ⁇ 4 Chep pallet, which in turn is placed on the floor.
- sockets In order to accommodate the weight load of product-filled goods carrier and / or a display, such sockets usually consist of a compartment of several reinforced webs and a longitudinally glued shell, for example, which in addition to the absorption of forces and the panel the base is used.
- the truss-forming webs are separate components from the shell of the socket, so that the costs and the logistics outlay for providing such a socket are comparatively high.
- the manageability of a multi-element socket which must be erectable in a shop, a branded goods or a co-packer in the shortest possible time by often unskilled assistants, perceived as in need of improvement.
- sockets are known which are similar in structure to a packaging box with automatic bottom.
- a pedestal is from the EP 0 850 843 A2 known.
- the automatic floor closes automatically when erecting the base.
- these pedestals have a lower assembly cost compared to multi-part base constructions, they generally only have low wearing properties, so that they can not be used for certain applications.
- Object of the present invention is in contrast to provide a base of the type mentioned, which is easier to install with improved handling and unskilled assistants and at the same time has a high load capacity.
- a blank for such a socket is to be provided.
- the invention provides that the inner side walls are hinged together via hinged swivel plates. This causes the inner sidewalls to move together. It is possible in this way, by pivoting a single inner side wall at the same time to pivot the other inner side walls with. The labor required to erect the base from the flat transport state to the use state is thereby considerably reduced, because instead of four steps (in a rectangular base with four side walls) only a single step is required. At the same time, in particular, the high stability of the DE 10 2004 003 246 B4 known socket and its good handling are maintained, which can be dispensed with in contrast to other known sockets on a Gefache.
- the cover flaps of the base are designed such that they can form an at least substantially closed hinged lid. This makes it possible to place on the upper side of the base in the state of use, packaging, or even individual products.
- the hinged lid does not have to form a completely closed surface, but it is possible that, for example, stacking openings and / or openings for actuating the cover tabs are provided in the hinged lid.
- At least two of the cover tabs are substantially rectangular and extend, for example, over half of the depth of the base.
- the extension of the cover tabs in the direction of the outer side wall to which they are hinged, to its free end is slightly equal to half of Width of a respective adjacent outer side wall.
- other subdivisions of the cover tabs can also be represented, for example, a cover tab substantially extending over the entire cover surface.
- the erection of the socket according to the invention can be further facilitated by the fact that the inner side walls automatically pivot relative to the outer side walls when the cover tabs are folded down. In combination with the connection of the inner side walls to one another via the pivoting lugs, this causes the complete hollow edge to be erectable by pivoting a single cover lug.
- an adhesive flap is hinged, which is connected to the respective cover flap, that the first crease line or bend parallel offset is arranged to a second creasing or bending line, with which the respective lid flap is hinged to the respective outer side wall.
- the offset of the creasing or bending lines of the cover flap and the adhesive flap thereby causes the inner side wall to be pushed inwards and downwards when the cover flap pivots.
- the offset of the creasing or bending lines is designed such that the first creasing or bending line, with which the adhesive flap is articulated on the inner side wall, closer to the free end of the cover flap than the second crease line or bend.
- the adhesive tabs are preferably already connected to the lid flaps and the inner side walls are each between an outer side wall and another inner side wall.
- the inner sidewalls on the outer Folded side walls so that in a rectangular packaging, the four superposed side wall pairs are arranged side by side.
- the two outer side wall pairs are unfolded on the two inner side wall pairs and connected to an adhesive flap, so that the superposed side wall pairs form a closed shell.
- the transport state is a state in which the base is pre-assembled to the extent that the necessary bonds or other connections of the tabs has already taken place among themselves, the base is still in a flat state, in which a space-saving shipping or storage of Socket is possible before use.
- the actual erection of the base in its transport state can then be comparatively quickly and easily done as described above by the side walls are first unfolded from the flat state in a rectangular shell and then the cover tabs are closed, whereby also the inner side walls relative to the outer Move side walls so that the hollow edge forms.
- the swivel flaps can absorb vertical loads.
- Stacking protrusions and / or stacking corners may be provided on the outer sidewalls to facilitate connection to other packages to be received by the socket.
- stacking openings for receiving the stacking projections or stacking corners in the base are formed so that they point to the outer side walls in the transport state in the direction of the cover tabs.
- the stacking projections and / or stacking corners lie substantially within the cover tabs, but are separated therefrom by an incision. This causes the stack projections to project upwardly over the plane of the lid when the lid tabs are folded over.
- connector tabs may be provided in the bottom flaps and / or in the outer sidewalls. These may be, for example, about T-shaped tabs, which are bounded by a perforated line. The connector tabs can thus be broken out of the bottom flaps or outboard sidewalls when needed and can be used for connection to members located below the pedestal. In this way, the base can for example be fixed on a pallet or stacked pedestals can be connected to each other. Further, corresponding openings or the like may be provided on the opposite side of the socket to receive such connector tabs.
- the base according to the invention does not have to be used in such a way that the cover flaps lie vertically upwards in the state of use and the bottom flaps lie vertically downwards in the state of use. Rather, it is also possible to use the base turned by 180 ° if necessary, if a closed bottom is preferred.
- An inventive blank for the production of such a base consists of a foldable material, such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or cardboard.
- a foldable material such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or cardboard.
- the Blank has over Rill- or bending lines hinged together outer side walls and hinged to these bottom flaps and lid flaps, which are hinged to the bottom flaps inner side walls whose height is substantially equal to the outer side walls and whose width is less than that of the outer side walls.
- the bottom flaps can be configured at least approximately trapezoidal.
- the inner side walls are hinged to each other via hinged flaps.
- adhesive tabs are preferably articulated on the side facing away from the bottom flaps of the inner side walls via creasing or bending lines.
- a two-part blank can also be used.
- each two outer side walls are hinged directly to each other and two inner side walls connected via two pivoting plates.
- adhesive tabs are provided for connection to a structurally identical blank.

- the in Fig. 1 shown one-piece blank has four outer side walls 1, 2, 3, 4, which are each hinged to each other via creasing or bending lines, and four inner side walls 5, 6, 7, 8.
- the height of the outer sidewalls and the inner sidewalls is at least substantially equal, with the inner sidewalls being narrower than the outer sidewalls, as shown.
- the inner side walls 5, 6, 7, 8 are hinged to the outer side walls 1, 2, 3, 4 via slightly trapezoidal bottom flaps 9.
- two swivel plates 10 are provided in each case, which are articulated via creasing or bending lines on the respective inner side walls and are interconnected in the illustrated embodiment via two webs.
- adhesive tabs 11, 12 are articulated in each case via a creasing or bending line 13.
- the adhesive tabs 11 are substantially rectangular, while the adhesive tabs 12 are formed approximately trapezoidal. In principle, however, the adhesive tabs can also have another suitable shape.

For the presentation and the sale of goods from goods carriers, it is known to arrange this handle height and thus easily visible for a consumer and easily accessible. For this purpose, goods carriers, such as spouts, trays or the like., Arranged on a pedestal. In the same way, displays can also be positioned on such pedestals in a visually easily perceivable height. Such a pedestal may be placed directly on a floor or the like or formed as a so-called pallet base for connection to a pallet. For example, pallet sockets are connected to a plastic ¼ Chep pallet, which in turn is placed on the floor.
In order to accommodate the weight load of product-filled goods carrier and / or a display, such sockets usually consist of a compartment of several reinforced webs and a longitudinally glued shell, for example, which in addition to the absorption of forces and the panel the base is used. The truss-forming webs are separate components from the shell of the socket, so that the costs and the logistics outlay for providing such a socket are comparatively high. In addition, the manageability of a multi-element socket, which must be erectable in a shop, a branded goods or a co-packer in the shortest possible time by often unskilled assistants, perceived as in need of improvement.

Object of the present invention is in contrast to provide a base of the type mentioned, which is easier to install with improved handling and unskilled assistants and at the same time has a high load capacity. Next, a blank for such a socket is to be provided.
This object is achieved essentially with a base according to
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cover flaps of the base are designed such that they can form an at least substantially closed hinged lid. This makes it possible to place on the upper side of the base in the state of use, packaging, or even individual products. The hinged lid does not have to form a completely closed surface, but it is possible that, for example, stacking openings and / or openings for actuating the cover tabs are provided in the hinged lid.
In a further development of this inventive concept, preferably at least two of the cover tabs are substantially rectangular and extend, for example, over half of the depth of the base. In other words, the extension of the cover tabs in the direction of the outer side wall to which they are hinged, to its free end is slightly equal to half of Width of a respective adjacent outer side wall. Even if, for reasons of material usage, such a configuration is preferred, other subdivisions of the cover tabs can also be represented, for example, a cover tab substantially extending over the entire cover surface.
The erection of the socket according to the invention can be further facilitated by the fact that the inner side walls automatically pivot relative to the outer side walls when the cover tabs are folded down. In combination with the connection of the inner side walls to one another via the pivoting lugs, this causes the complete hollow edge to be erectable by pivoting a single cover lug.
This can be achieved, for example, in that on each inner side wall on the side facing away from the respective bottom flap via an initial creasing or bending line, an adhesive flap is hinged, which is connected to the respective cover flap, that the first crease line or bend parallel offset is arranged to a second creasing or bending line, with which the respective lid flap is hinged to the respective outer side wall. The offset of the creasing or bending lines of the cover flap and the adhesive flap thereby causes the inner side wall to be pushed inwards and downwards when the cover flap pivots. The offset of the creasing or bending lines is designed such that the first creasing or bending line, with which the adhesive flap is articulated on the inner side wall, closer to the free end of the cover flap than the second crease line or bend.
In the transport state of the base, the adhesive tabs are preferably already connected to the lid flaps and the inner side walls are each between an outer side wall and another inner side wall. In other words, first, the inner sidewalls on the outer Folded side walls, so that in a rectangular packaging, the four superposed side wall pairs are arranged side by side. Subsequently, for example, the two outer side wall pairs are unfolded on the two inner side wall pairs and connected to an adhesive flap, so that the superposed side wall pairs form a closed shell.
The transport state is a state in which the base is pre-assembled to the extent that the necessary bonds or other connections of the tabs has already taken place among themselves, the base is still in a flat state, in which a space-saving shipping or storage of Socket is possible before use. The actual erection of the base in its transport state can then be comparatively quickly and easily done as described above by the side walls are first unfolded from the flat state in a rectangular shell and then the cover tabs are closed, whereby also the inner side walls relative to the outer Move side walls so that the hollow edge forms.
If the swivel plates are articulated on the inner side walls such that the swivel plates protrude in the direction of the bottom flaps and in the direction of the cover flaps by approximately one material thickness each, the swivel flaps can absorb vertical loads. There are lid tabs on the swivel tabs and the swivel tabs are located on the opposite side in a plane with the bottom flaps. The carrying capacity of the base according to the invention can thereby be further improved.
Stacking protrusions and / or stacking corners may be provided on the outer sidewalls to facilitate connection to other packages to be received by the socket. When several pedestals stacked on top of each other are to be provided, stacking openings for receiving the stacking projections or stacking corners in the base. Preferably, the stacking projections or stacking corners are formed so that they point to the outer side walls in the transport state in the direction of the cover tabs. In other words, the stacking projections and / or stacking corners lie substantially within the cover tabs, but are separated therefrom by an incision. This causes the stack projections to project upwardly over the plane of the lid when the lid tabs are folded over.
Additionally or alternatively, connector tabs may be provided in the bottom flaps and / or in the outer sidewalls.
The base according to the invention does not have to be used in such a way that the cover flaps lie vertically upwards in the state of use and the bottom flaps lie vertically downwards in the state of use. Rather, it is also possible to use the base turned by 180 ° if necessary, if a closed bottom is preferred.
An inventive blank for the production of such a base consists of a foldable material, such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or cardboard. Of the Blank has over Rill- or bending lines hinged together outer side walls and hinged to these bottom flaps and lid flaps, which are hinged to the bottom flaps inner side walls whose height is substantially equal to the outer side walls and whose width is less than that of the outer side walls. The bottom flaps can be configured at least approximately trapezoidal. According to the invention, the inner side walls are hinged to each other via hinged flaps. Alternatively or additionally, adhesive tabs are preferably articulated on the side facing away from the bottom flaps of the inner side walls via creasing or bending lines.
In principle, it is possible to form the blank for the production of the base as a one-piece blank. However, due to the size of the base and / or because of the processability in printing machines, for example in offset printing instead of in flexographic printing, a two-part blank can also be used. In a two-part blank each two outer side walls are hinged directly to each other and two inner side walls connected via two pivoting plates. Further, for example, on an outer side wall and an inner side wall adhesive tabs are provided for connection to a structurally identical blank. Even with a one-piece blank adhesive tabs are provided, for example, on an inner side wall and an outer side wall, so that the side walls can be joined together to form a closed shell.
