Definitions
- the present invention relates to a lighting arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1, which is initially suitable for illuminating areas along a straight line.
- the invention relates to a so-called escape route lighting.
- Escape route lighting arrangements are essential in larger building complexes to allow people to safely and reliably exit the building.
- escape sign luminaires whose task is to indicate an escape or rescue route
- the task of escape route lighting is to illuminate the emergency route itself in a sufficient manner or to illuminate.
- the detection of obstacles and the like in the area of the rescue or escape route is thereby enabled, so that even larger crowds quickly and efficiently leave the building or rescue workers can enter the building.
- escape route lighting is usually used lights, which have a so-called.
- Single-symmetrical emission characteristics Such a radiation characteristic over which the light of the light source (s) is radiated substantially in two mutually opposite directions, ensures a uniform illumination of the escape route on both sides of the lamp along a straight line.
- Such lights are, for example, at regular intervals on the ceiling of a corridor, which forms the escape route, mounted.
- a lateral arrangement eg. On walls or the like is known, in which case the Lichtabstrahl characterizing is adjusted accordingly. In principle, however, it is provided in such cases that the light is emitted in two opposite directions, so that the illumination of an elongated area is achieved on both sides of the luminaire.
- the above object is achieved by an escape route lighting, which has the features of claim 1.
- Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
- the solution according to the invention is based on the idea of realizing the escape route lighting with two light sources arranged as close as possible to one another are to use.
- the light sources are each assigned an optical element in the form of a lens, which emits the light emitted by the associated light source substantially asymmetrically.
- the lenses are arranged on a peripheral frame of the escape sign lamp, and in each case can be positioned differently.
- This optical element is positioned differently, in particular rotatably mounted, can be made in a simple manner and in particular without the use of novel or additional components an adaptation of the light emission of the escape route lighting.
- an escape route lighting which has two light sources and in each case one optical element assigned to the light sources in the form of a lens.
- the optical element is designed to emit the light emitted by the associated light source asymmetrically, wherein it can be positioned differently according to the invention.
- the Light source is preferably formed by a substantially punctiform light source, in particular by an LED.
- a plurality of light sources are preferably provided, which are arranged next to one another at a short distance and are aligned parallel to one another.
- the light sources associated with the optical elements are designed in particular identical.
- the storage or mounting of the optical element (s) is preferably such that they can be positioned in different rotational positions relative to a longitudinal axis defined by the respective light source.
- the direction of the emitted light can be adapted in a simple manner, specifically individually for each individual light source. Characterized in that at least two light sources are used, so can be changed from a simple-symmetrical emission characteristics, as previously mentioned in escape route lights used in accordance with the above, in a simple way to another emission characteristic, which, for example. For illuminating branches , Curves, crossing points and the like is much better suited.
- optical element (s) are provided by which preferred positions for the optical element (s) are defined.
- E are latching elements, which are arranged on the one hand on the optical element and on the other hand on a support for the optical element.
- the optical element (s) themselves are preferably each formed by a lens.
- the lens may have a cavity facing the light source. The arrangement of the lens is carried out such that the light source easily protrudes into this cavity, wherein the mantle and bottom surface of the cavity then forms the light entry surface for the lens.
- the light emitted by the light source for example by an LED
- the light exit region of the lens in turn is designed such that the desired asymmetric light output is achieved.
- Conceivable here would be in particular the use of a so-called Fresnel structure, which leads to a reduction in the height.
- an additional light-influencing element is used, which can be mounted, for example, rotatable on the lens. It can be around a crystal-clear lens, partially with aluminum or similar vaporized plastic rings or reflectors or semi-mirrors act. With the help of this additional element, the light output could then be further adapted to the specific needs.
- the lens or the first optical element does not necessarily have to emit asymmetrical light but could also cause a symmetrical light emission.
- the additional element can therefore be used, for example, to switch between a symmetrical and an asymmetrical light output or vice versa.
- the escape route lighting can be integrated as an extension into a luminaire, the support for the one or more optical elements then being formed by a housing part of the luminaire.
- the light is a escape sign light, in which case a particularly simple and elegant display on the one hand and illumination of a rescue route on the other hand is made possible in this way.
- Fig. 1 shows as a preferred application and embodiment provided with the reference numeral 100 so-called escape sign light, which serves to represent an escape route.
- this lamp 100 has a peripheral frame 101, which serves to support one or two transparent panes 102 for emitting light.
- the frame 101 and the disks 102 form a housing of the luminaire 100, in the interior of which light sources are arranged.
- the light is then emitted via the transparent panes 102, the panes 102 containing a pictogram, via which, for example, the direction of the escape route is displayed.
- Such escape sign lights are already well known and are placed at relevant positions within a building or the like to indicate escape routes.
- the light output can be one-sided or two-sided, depending on whether the lamp is placed in the middle of a room or hallway or on the wall above an emergency exit.
- Fig. 1 Escape sign light 100 shown has means for illuminating the escape route. These means are integrated in the present case in the lamp 100, but they could of course also be used independently of such escape sign lamp 100. In the case of integration results in a particularly simple and elegant way, the ability to not only display an escape route, but also to illuminate.
- the means according to the invention for illuminating the escape route consist in the illustrated embodiment of two light sources and the light sources respectively associated optical elements.
- the light sources are preferably formed by LEDs 10, which are disposed within the lamp 100 and are powered by suitable means not described in more detail.
- Each LED 10 is associated with an optical element in the form of a lens 15, via which the delivery of the light emitted by the LED 10 takes place.
- the lenses 15 are here at the Frame 101 of the escape sign lamp 100 is arranged and engage in particular in corresponding openings 105 of the frame 101 a.
- the closer embodiment of the lenses 15 can in particular also the 3 and 4 be removed.
- the purpose of these lenses 15 is to efficiently pick up the LED light and to radiate it in a desired direction.
- the lenses 15 of the same design initially each have one of the LED 10 facing conical region 16.
- This conical portion 16 is provided with a cavity 17 into which the LED 10 slightly protrudes in the final mounting state (see FIG Fig. 2 ).
- This arrangement ensures that the light emitted by the LED 10 can be emitted almost completely via the lens 15 and thus influenced in the desired manner.
- the lateral surface and bottom surface of the cavity 17 accordingly form a light entry surface for the lens 15, wherein the bottom surface is preferably formed slightly curved, which has the advantage that the light falls substantially parallel to the light exit region 18 of the lens 15 and thus influenced effectively can be.
- This light exit region 18 of the lens 15 is designed in such a way that an asymmetrical light output is achieved, that is to say that the light is deflected and emitted in a targeted manner in a specific direction.
- the light exit region 18 of the lens 15 is provided with a so-called Fresnel structure.
- it has a plurality of juxtaposed, wedge-shaped fins 19, over whose flanks the light is influenced in such a way that the desired asymmetric light emission is achieved.
- the light on the inclined flanks of the fins 19 is totally reflected so that a light output as in Fig. 2 indicated.
- this Fresnel structure has the advantage that the overall height of the lens 15 can be reduced.
- the light exit side of the lens 15 could also be otherwise designed to achieve the desired asymmetric light emission. It would be conceivable, for example, also a wedge-like configuration or a cylindrical shape, which is cut by an inclined surface.
- These snap arms 20 have a certain flexibility, so that they can easily escape when inserting the lens 15 from the underside. If the lens 15 inserted sufficiently deep, snap the arms 20 to the outside and engage behind with corresponding locking lugs 21 corresponding Projections that can be formed on the frame 101 or - as shown - on the side windows 102 of the escape sign lamp 100.
- each of the two lenses the possibility of the lens 15 with respect to a longitudinal axis I (see Fig. 4 ), which is determined by the orientation of the associated LED 10 to position in different rotational positions. Due to the rotationally symmetrical configuration of the LED 10 facing portion 16 of the lens 15 and the arrangement of the latching arms 20 while the lens 15 can be rotated freely relative to this axis I, so that in principle any position would be conceivable. Preferably, however, certain preferred positions are defined in which the lens 15 is additionally locked to the housing of the lamp 100. For this purpose, additional studs 22 are provided on the lens 15 in the example shown, which engage in reaching one of these preferred positions in corresponding - not shown - depressions formed on the frame 102. According to the illustrated arrangement of the knobs 22 so there are four preferred positions, which are each rotated by 90 ° to each other. In other words, the lens 15 can be fixed in four different directions aligned with the frame 101 of the lamp 100.
- the mounting opening in the frame 101 may not be circular but may be formed as a polygon, in which case by means of a corresponding design, for example, the latching arms 20 only insertion of the lens 15 in certain positions is made possible.
- the lens 15 can be rotated freely, but it is ensured due to a corresponding jamming between the lens and housing frame 101 that the lens 15 remains in the set position.
- the two lenses 15 as in the Fig. 5a and 5b aligned to align While in the variant according to Fig. 5a the lenses 15 gegen Eisen, that are aligned rotated by 180 ° to each other, the lenses are at Fig. 5b Aligned the same. In the arrangement according to Fig. 5a then results in total for the lighting arrangement, a Lichtabstrahl characterizing, as in Fig. 6a is shown. It is thus achieved a symmetrical, extending in two directions light output. This corresponds to the light output that has hitherto been used in most cases with escape route lighting.
- Such Lichtabstrahl characterizing would therefore be particularly suitable in those cases in which the escape sign lamp 100 is substantially in the middle (seen in the longitudinal direction) of a rescue route to be illuminated.
- a section of the escape route is then illuminated on both sides of the luminaire 100.
- the light is emitted through both lenses 15 in the same direction and it results in the Fig. 6b illustrated asymmetric Lichtabstrahl characterizing.
- the lighting arrangement according to the invention is also particularly well suited to illuminate curves or corners of a rescue route.
- the lenses would have to be aligned so that the light output follows in two rotated by 90 ° bundles.
- more than two light sources with associated lenses are used to illuminate, for example, branches, crossing points or the like.
- the use of specially designed optical elements is not required, but the adjustment of the Lichtabstrahl characterizing can be done exclusively by a corresponding adjustment of the lenses. That is, the Lichtabstrahl characterizing can be very easily and effectively, but in particular also cost-effectively adapted to specific needs.
- This additional light-influencing element could be rotatably mounted on the lens - preferably still rotatable as described above or positionable in different positions the housing is arranged - be plugged. It can be here to clear lenses, some with aluminum or similar. steamed plastic rings or reflectors or semi-mirrors, ie elements that are partly translucent and partly mirrored act. With the help of these additional elements, the light output could then be further adapted to the specific needs. For example, the direction of the illumination could be determined by the first lens, and the width and / or horizontal inclination of the light beam could be adjusted by means of the additional light-influencing element. Of course, this development just described is also possible both when using a single light source and when using a plurality of light sources.
- the lens that is to say the first optical element, does not necessarily have to emit light asymmetrically but could also cause a symmetrical light emission.
- the additional element could be used, for example, to switch between a symmetrical and an asymmetrical light output or vice versa.

Description

Fig. 3 und 4 entnommen werden.
Fig. 2 angedeutet erfolgt.
Fig. 5a und 5b dargestellt auszurichten.
