Description

The invention relates to a door and / or window stopper according to the features specified in the preamble of patent claim 1.

From the EP 2 069 598 B1 Such a door and / or window stopper is known, which has an outer, at least to a tip expiring, contour and preferably contains a substantially corresponding to the outer contour inner cavity. The stopper includes an outer part made of rubber or a flexurally elastic rubber-like thermoplastic material with a relatively high coefficient of friction and an inner part surrounded by the outer part, which has an increased flexural strength relative to the outer part. Furthermore, the stopper has two arms converging towards the tip, which arms are connected to one another in the region of the tip. At least one of said arms of the inner part has decreasing wall thicknesses toward the tip such that there the wall thickness of the inner part and / or its arm is greater than in an earth region in which the arms are connected to each other. This door and / or window stopper has proven very good for many applications. However, if the distances or gaps of doors or windows when opened to the ground or to a frame are quite large, difficulties in handling the known stopper may result. In that regard, in principle, the stopper could be made larger, but this would increase the manufacturing and material costs. The weight and thus the handling would be adversely affected.

Furthermore, from the DE 93 11 237 U1 a Türstopperkeil known with a ramp surface for a lower edge of a door leaf. This wedge contains on its underside a can be brought to the ground for support spring leaf, which is compressible when running the door leaf. The wedge and the spring leaf are arranged approximately V-shaped to each other and connected to each other, wherein in the position of use, in which the spring leaf rests on the ground, the wedge is located above the spring leaf.

On this basis, the invention has the object, the door and / or window stopper of the type mentioned in that the disadvantages are avoided, in particular the use and / or easy handling at fairly large distances of a door or a window in the open Condition to the ground and / or frame allow. Nevertheless, the door and / or window stopper should be able to be used even at comparatively small distances and / or gaps. Furthermore, a low manufacturing and material costs to be required, with a high flexibility and use over a large range of said distances or gaps should be possible.

The solution of this task is carried out according to the features specified in claim 1.

The door and / or window stoppers according to the invention, referred to below as stoppers, is characterized by a simple design and allows for low material usage and / or high flexibility bridging quite large gaps or gaps of doors or windows to the floor or frame in the open state so as to achieve a functionally reliable locking of the doors or windows. The stopper contains at least two branches connected to a coupling body which, starting from the coupling body, diverge in a V-like manner and / or are arranged spread apart. Conveniently, the two tips of the branches and the end of the coupling body form approximately an equilateral triangle. This has proven to be particularly advantageous to arrange the tips of the branches at a distance from each other which is substantially and / or at least approximately the same size as the distance of at least one of said tips to the end of the coupling body. The branches have, from a connection region which faces and / or is assigned to the coupling body, outgoing and ending at the tips inner surfaces. Furthermore, the coupling body has two outer surfaces, to which connect outer surfaces of the respective branch, wherein the outer surfaces of the branches also end at the branch tips. Preferably, the branches are in particular conically tapered towards the tips, wherein between the inner surfaces of the two branches, a free space is available. The branches are advantageously concave-convex and / or extend to their tips in opposite directions away from each other to the side and / or out. Advantageously, the branches are formed bent, wherein the interconnected inner surfaces are convex and the outer surfaces are concave. In the region of the tips, the outer surfaces of the branches, which preferably run concavely back to the coupling body or its outer surfaces, adjoin the preferably conical inner surfaces. Alternatively, in the frame According to the invention, the branches that are spread out in a V-like manner from the coupling body may be designed in such a way that at least the respective inner surface and / or outer surface are essentially planar.

Upon insertion of the stopper into a gap between a door and a window and a floor or frame, the branches are spread apart, whereby the distance of the tips is increased and a bias voltage is generated such that the stopper is clamped in the gap, wherein a holding force predetermined becomes. After inserting the stopper into a gap, the pretension and thus the holding force can be predetermined and / or increased in a simple manner, in particular by compressing the branches and / or the tips. As a result of the tapering of the branches towards the tips, a great deal of flexibility and / or a large spring travel are achieved in a preferred manner. The existing between the branches and / or the inner surfaces of the free space is formed such that the insertion of the stopper in a gap and / or the movements of the arms to specify and / or increase the bias or holding force are functionally feasible.

In a preferred embodiment, the stopper and / or its branches contain at least one inner cavity. The cavity is located within a clamp-like inner part, which contains two arms in the region of the branches, which has an increased flexural rigidity in relation to an outer part. The outer part of the stopper or at least the outer edge of the stopper and / or its branches is made of rubber or a flexurally elastic, rubbery thermoplastic material and / or an elastomer having a relatively high coefficient of friction, whereby a functionally reliable fixing to a door or to a window or assigned Frame parts or a floor is reached. Furthermore, it is of particular importance that the arms of the inner part of the respective branch have decreasing wall thicknesses towards the tip such that the wall thickness of the inner part and / or its arm is smaller in the region of the tip than in the said connection region and / or in the region of the coupling body ,

The stopper contains two substantially planar surfaces which have a predetermined and / or fairly small distance from one another in the region of the end of the base body. At the branches and / or the tips mentioned above, the distance between the opposing surfaces increases. The stopper is thus wedge-shaped and, if it rests flat with one of the surfaces on the floor, for example, be pushed or kicked under a door with the foot to lock a door at a relatively narrow gap. The stopper advantageously has a smaller depth or thickness in the region of the coupling body than at the tips. This is a significant material savings achieved, wherein However, a high rigidity is present across the surfaces and buckling or bending orthogonal to the surfaces is avoided. If a comparatively large gap is present, the stopper is advantageously used in vertical alignment in such a way that the branches and / or tips are placed on the ground and the coupling body engages the lower edge of the door. For this purpose, the initially resting flat on the ground stopper, in particular by appearance with the foot on one of the tips, are erected by 90 ° and inserted or pressed into the gap. Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous that the bias and / or holding force can be increased in a simple manner by engaging in said clearance, for example, with the toe, and lifting or moving the connecting portion in the direction of the coupling body. Furthermore, according to the invention, by pushing together or compressing the branches, for example by acting on a branch and / or pressing the branch in the direction of the other branch, the bias voltage can be generated and / or increased, wherein the holding force is predetermined and / or increased in the required manner.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, one of the branches of the stopper and / or the stopper as a whole contains an inner part, which is surrounded by soft material and / or rubber or a flexurally elastic, rubber-like thermoplastic or elastomer and, in contrast, has an increased flexural rigidity. In such a stopper, the inner part surrounds a cavity. Such a stopper is in particular from the aforementioned EP 2 069 598 B1 or international PCT Patent Application WO 2008/040518 known. The preferred clip-like inner part and / or the at least one inner part-containing component as a whole are designed such that the edges do not project beyond at least one surface of the stopper, but in a particularly advantageous manner with respect to the surface or surfaces at a predetermined distance inwards and / or back are. The respective edge has the predetermined surface to the predetermined and / or small distance, which is preferably in the range of 0.5 to 2 mm, in particular from 1 to 1.5 mm predetermined. Due to the proposed training and / or compound of the relatively hard inner part and / or component with the surrounding soft material and / or rubber and / or flexible elastic rubbery thermoplastic or elastomer latter is something about the relatively hard material of the inner part or component over. Thus, it becomes possible to make the soft and resilient material particularly thin or to produce and / or to prevent peeling and / or squeezing of the comparatively soft and thin material. The clip-like inner part and / or component, which is surrounded by said soft material, such as rubber or plastic or the like and quasi forms a hard inner core of the stopper according to the invention has a smaller depth than the surrounding relatively soft material, such as rubber or Elastomer or the like.

Special refinements and developments of the stopper according to the invention are in the subclaims. specified.

Figures 1 and 2 show the stopper with two branches 1, 2, which have tips 3, 4. The branches 1, 2 contain as openings formed inner cavities 5, 6 and are interconnected by means of the coupling body 8. The branches 2, 3 are substantially wedge-shaped, with the cavities 5, 6 preferably opening into a common and / or uniform cavity 7, which is delimited by the coupling body 8. The coupling body 8 is substantially rectangular in shape and has a predetermined length 9 and / or advantageously includes a convexly curved end surface 12 at the free end 10. The length 9 is larger by a predetermined factor than the width 11 of the branch 1 or 2 in the transition region to Coupling body 8. The said factor is advantageously in the range between 1.5 to 3.5, preferably between 2 and 2.5. The branches 1, 2 are arranged in a V-shape, wherein the tips 3.4 have a distance 14.

Preferably, the branches 1, 2 have different lengths, so that the stopper can be used in an optimum manner with regard to different operating conditions and / or gaps between doors or windows to a floor or frame. As can be seen, the tip 3 of the longer branch 1 has a distance 16 to the end 10, while the tip 4 of the opposite short branch 2 to the end 10 has the distance 18. Advantageously, the distance 14 is at least approximately the same size as the distance 16, while the distance 18 is smaller than the distance 14 by a predetermined amount. In the context of the invention, the tips 3, 4 of the branches 1, 2 with the opposite end 10 of the connecting body 8 and / or the stopper at least approximately an equilateral triangle, which especially with little effort ah material and / or weight the use of the stopper to bridge quite large gaps between doors or windows is made possible.

The branch 1 has a convex inner surface 20 and the branch 2 has a likewise convex inner surface 22, wherein the two inner surfaces 20, 22 in a preferably concave connecting region 24 adjoin one another. The connection region 24 has at the end 10 a distance 26 which is at least approximately the same size as the distance 28 to the tip 3 of the branch 1. Between the branches 1, 2 and / or their inner surfaces 20, 22 is a free space and / or a Notch or notch 25 present. The free space 25 is formed such that the branches 1, 2 are movable when inserting the stopper in a gap for specifying the bias and / or holding force, in particular taking into account the flexibility of the branches and the insertion of the stopper in the gap in a simple manner feasible is. Furthermore, the free space 25 is formed such that the branches 1, 2 can be pressed against each other, in order to predetermine and / or increase especially the bias and / or holding force.

The branch 1 has a concave outer surface 30 and the branch 2 has a likewise concave outer surface 32. The outer surfaces 30, 32 connect in an advantageous manner to also concave outer surfaces 34, 36 of the coupling body 8 at. The front surface 38 of the stopper or its branches 1, 2 and the coupling body 8 is preferably substantially planar and / or at least approximately orthogonal to the said outer surfaces.

In an alternative embodiment of the stopper according to the invention, the inner surfaces and / or outer surfaces may be formed substantially as flat surfaces, as indicated by the dashed lines 40 or 44, 46. Furthermore, in the context of the invention, the outer surfaces of the coupling body 8 may be formed as planar surfaces and / or run towards each other in the region of the end 10 and / or connect, as indicated by dashed lines 48, 50. Furthermore, in the context of the invention, the aforementioned outer surfaces can be formed overall and / or partially poligonal, as can the aforementioned inner surface of the branches 1, 2.

The branches 1, 2 contain clamp-like internal parts 52, 54 which surround the cavities 5, 6 and 7 and have arms which are connected to each other at a distance from the tips 3, 4. It is of particular importance that the wall thicknesses of at least one arm of the respective branch 1, 2 decrease towards the respective tip 3, 4. As a result, an improved flexibility and / or an increased spring travel is achieved, wherein a buckling of the branches and the stopper is avoided across the surface 38 as a whole. As can be seen, the outer surfaces 30, 32 nearest arms of the inner parts 52, 54 extend to the coupling body 8 and are connected to each other with a connecting arm 56. In the area between the Connecting portion 24 and the coupling body 8, the inner cavity 7 is surrounded by opposing parts of the branches 1, 2 and the coupling body 8, in particular the existing therein internal parts 52, 54 and the connecting arm 56. Advantageously, the internal parts together with the connecting arm 56 in one piece or formed as a single component. The inner parts 52, 54 and the connecting arm 56 are preferably completely surrounded by a outer part 58 and fixedly and integrally connected thereto. The outer part 58 forms the outer edge of the stopper and is expediently made of rubber or a flexurally elastic, rubbery thermoplastic material and / or elastomer. The outer part has the above-explained inner surfaces 20, 22, the outer surfaces 30, 32, 34, 36 and the end surface 12. At least the aforementioned surfaces have a relatively high coefficient of friction, so that a secure fixing of the stopper to doors or windows and their frame or a floor is made possible. The coupling body 8 is part of the outer part 58 and formed integrally therewith.

The edge 60 of the respective inner part 52 facing the front surface 38 and / or below it and / or the edge of the connecting arm 56 and / or the aforementioned component as a whole have a predetermined and / or small spacing 62 from the front surface 38 on. Analogously, the edge and / or edges, which are assigned to the surface of the stopper located behind the plane of the drawing, can have a predetermined and / or small spacing therefrom. According to the invention, said edges do not project beyond the front surface 38 and / or the back surface of the stopper but lie deeper and / or below at least one of the surfaces. In other words, the depth of the inner part or parts 52, 54 and / or of the connecting arm 56 is at least the same size, preferably smaller by a predetermined distance than the thickness 64 of the stopper in the respective common sectional plane. As will be explained below, it should be noted here that the front surface and the rear surface of the stopper are arranged at a predetermined angle to each other.

In the FIGS. 3, 4, 5 and 6 views of the stopper in the directions A, B, C and D are shown. How out FIGS. 5 and 6 As can be seen, an angle 68 is defined between the front surface 38 and the aforementioned rear surface 66. The stopper is thus wedge-shaped and, if it rests flat on a floor with a surface, for example, be pushed under a door with the foot to lock the door at a relatively narrow gap. Thus, the stopper at the tips 3 and 4, a significantly greater width than in the region of the end 10, which preferably also a considerable saving in material and / or weight is achieved. Alternatively to the illustrated planar training of Surfaces 38, 66 may be further bent and / or curved and / or corrugated in the context of the invention.

In Fig. 7 the use or the use of the stopper according to the invention for locking a partially shown door leaf 70 with respect to the bottom 72 and the door frame 74 is shown. The stopper is placed on the floor 72 with the branch 1 or its tip 3 and with the branch 2 or its tip 4, wherein the end 10 and / or the coupling body 8 rests against a lower profile part of the door leaf 70. The stopper is clamped under bias in the gap between the bottom and the lower profile of the door leaf 70, wherein due to the flexibility of the branches 1 and 2 of the present in the unclamped state of the stopper existing distance between the tips 3 and 4 is increased. If, for example, due to a wind pull, the door leaf 70 is moved in one or the other direction, one of the branches 1, 2 is relieved, so that the prestressing of this branch is reduced and can move towards the other branch, as a result of which Pinching is improved. In addition, in the illustrated erected position of the stopper in a simple manner, it is possible to increase the bias and thus the holding force of the stopper by, for example, enters the free space 25 between the two branches 1, 2 with the toe with the toe while raising the connection area 24 upwards. Here, the distance between the tips 3, 4 is reduced and increases the holding force and / or the bias in a simple manner.

The Fig. 8 shows the use of the stopper, which is inserted with the window sash open 78 between a vertical profile thereof and a window frame, preferably clamped under bias. By compressing the tips 3, 4 by hand or by engaging in the free space and impressions of the connecting portion 24 in the direction of arrow 82, the bias voltage and thus the holding force can be increased in a simple manner.

Alternatively to use according to Fig. 7 , wherein the stopper rests with both branches 1, 2 on the ground, the stopper can also be used in a rotated by 90 ° clockwise position in the space or gap between the door leaf 70 and the bottom 72 such that on the one hand the branch 1 and on the other hand, the coupling body 8 rest on the ground, the branch 2 and / or its tip, in particular rests on a vertical surface 73 of the door leaf 70. Furthermore, the stopper according to the invention can be used such that the short branch 2 and the coupling body 8 rest on the floor 72, wherein the long branch 1 rests on the door leaf 70, in particular on its vertical surface 73. Another Possibility or use of the stopper is given to the effect that the coupling body 8 is arranged in the free space or gap between the door leaf 70 and the bottom 72, wherein either the long branch 1 or the short branch 2 with the door 70 for engagement and / or investment to be brought. These inventively different uses of the stopper can alternatively be provided in the context of the invention in windows, wherein instead of the floor, for example, a sill to support and / or for placing the stopper is provided, or the space between the sash and the sill. The particular use of the stopper according to the invention can be specified in particular depending on the size of the gap or the distance between the door or its lower edge or between the window or its frame and in particular a sill.

Based on FIGS. 9 and 10 another use of the stopper is explained, according to Fig. 9 the stopper initially lying flat on the floor 72, for example, with the front surface 38, preferably by means of a dashed line indicated foot 84, is partially pushed under the door leaf 70. This is done such that at least the coupling body 8 is located under the opened door leaf 70, while the long branch 1 is located in front of the door leaf 70 such that a person, as shown, with the foot 84 can step on the branch 1. Alternatively, the stopper can also be pushed under the door leaf 70 so that can be entered with the foot 4 on the short branch 2. Now the user steps with his foot or shoe 84 reinforced or with increased force in the direction of arrow 86 according to Fig. 10 on the branch 1, the stopper is deformed so that the other branch 2 protrudes from the bottom 72 and is rotated in total by 90 ° such that the branch 2 and its tip 4 is substantially vertically above the bottom 72. By moving the foot 84 in the direction of the arrow 87, this passes into the free space or the notch 25 between the branches 1 and 2, so that in a further movement of the stopper in the direction of arrow 88 is now pushed a little further under the door leaf 70, which is thus locked in the required manner and / or wherein the required bias of the stopper is set for the purpose of locking the door leaf. The bias and thus the clamping force is thereby increased in an appropriate manner. It is of particular importance that the bias or clamping force is given by train or as tension and not by a compressive force from above. In this way it is advantageously achieved that the foot is not disturbing the upper edge of the stopper in the way and / or thus the highest point or area of the stopper can be exploited. Thus, an optimal utilization of the size and / or the material use of the stopper is achieved. The stopper can thus even for large distances between the door 70 and the Floor 72 are used, with a low material input and / or small size.
