- Durch die Schrägstellung der U-Profilschenkel gegenüber der U-Profil-Basisfläche wird erreicht, dass im Benutzungszustand der Leiter die die Stufentrittfläche bildenden U-Profil-Basisflächen bei einer entsprechenden Schrägstellung der Leiter eine im Wesentlichen horizontale Lage einnehmen. Die Schrägstellung der U-Profilschenkel der Stufen gegenüber der U-Profil-Basisfläche beträgt bei einem unterstellten Anstellwinkel der Leiter gegen eine Wandfläche etwa 70°.
- Indem die U-Profile der Stufen angrenzend an die Stufenenden mit Aussparungen versehen sind, wird bei zusammengeklappter, d.h. ineinandergeschobenen Stellung der Seitenholme eine gegenseitige Beeinträchtigung der Stufenenden mit den Seitenholmen vermieden, wobei zusätzlich beim Ausklappen der Leiter Fingerquetschungen verhindert werden.
