  • the shaft portion 31 of the pull-tab 30 is inserted into the concave groove 63 of the slider body 20.
  • the stop claw body 40 is disposed on the slider body 20 such that the latching portion 42 is latched to the latching protrusion 61 b of the front attachment post 61 and the stop claw 43 is inserted into the claw hole 65 of the upper blade 21.
  • the cover body 50 is disposed on the slider body 20 such that the front and rear attachment posts 61 and 62 are accommodated in the cover body recess 50a.
  • the cover body 50 is set to a preset position as the top plate 51 of the cover body 50 is pressed downward by the pressure pad 81.
  • the cover body 50 is fixed to the front and rear attachment posts 61 and 62 as the right and left side plates 52 of the cover body 50 are respectively crimped to the crimping recesses 61a and 62a of the front and rear attachment posts 61 and 62 by a of right and left punches 82.
  • the slider 10 is assembled.
  • the shaft portion 31 of the pull-tab 30 is disposed between the concave groove 63 of the upper blade 21 and the base portion 41 of the stop claw body 40.
  • the positioning of the cover body 50 is performed by bringing the side walls of the front attachment post 61 and the rear attachment post 62 into contact with the inner walls of the pair of side plates 52 so as to reduce rattling in the width direction and an end surface of the rear attachment post 62 at the side of the rear mouth and the groove end surface 71 into contact with the inner wall of the cover body recess 50a and the inner wall of the protruding portion 55 so as to reduce rattling in the front-rear direction.
  • the groove end surface 71 is disposed at the front side relative to the leading end of the latching portion 42 which is latched to the upper end of the front attachment post 61, it is possible to prevent the latching portion 42 from coming into contact with the cover body 50 after the cover body 50 is fixed to the slider body 20. Accordingly, the function as the stop claw body 40 can be firmly maintained.
  • the cover body 50 when the cover body 50 is finally fixed by crimping, as shown in FIG 3 , it is required to set the top plate 51 of the cover body 50 in the state where it is pressed downward by the pressure pad 81. This is because, when the latching portion 42 is latched to the latching protrusion 61b, the leading end of the spring portion 44 contacts the inner wall of the top plate 51 of the cover body 50, and as shown in FIG. 6 , the front portion of the cover body 50 is pushed up relative to the rear portion, so that the cover body 50 cannot be disposed at a preset position.
  • this embodiment is configured such that, even in this state, when the cover body 50 us pressed downward using the pressure pad 81, the protruding portion 55 protruding downward and the bulged portion 72 protruding upward promptly contact each other. Accordingly, the protruding portion 55 is guided into the groove 70 by the bulged portion 72 so that the protruding portion 55 can be easily fitted into the groove 70.
  • the bulged portion 72 is provided with the guide portion 75 having the inclined surface which is inclined toward the upper surface 74 of the bulged portion 72 from the front surface 73 as described above, the protruding portion 55 can be smoothly guided to the groove 70.
  • the guide portion 75 is formed between the leading end of the latching portion 42 and the groove end surface 71, when the cover body 50 is pressed downward using the pressure pad 81, the protruding portion 55 can be guided to the groove 70 while the cover body 50 is prevented from contacting the latching portion 42 as much as possible. This can prevent the stop claw body 40 from being damaged due to the contact of the cover body 50 with the latching portion 42 or escaping from the latching protrusion 61b, which would otherwise cause an assembly defect.
  • the slider 10 for a slide fastener since the groove end surface 71 of the groove 70 of the upper blade 21 is formed at the front side relative to the leading end of the latching portion 42 of the stop claw body 40 which is latched to the upper end of the front attachment post 61, it is possible to maintain the size for obtaining the required strength of the front attachment post 61 and the rear attachment post 62 while miniaturizing the slider 10, thereby obtaining a sufficient amount of strength of the slider 10.
  • the cover body 50 can be reliably positioned on the slider body 20.
  • the front surface 73 of the bulged portion 72 of the upper blade 21 is provided the guide portion 75 having the inclined surface which is inclined toward the upper surface 74 of the bulged portion 72, and the guide portion 75 guides the protruding portion 55 of the cover body 50 to the groove 70. Accordingly, the protruding portion 55 can be reliably fitted using the groove 70.
  • the fixing method is not limited thereto but can be implemented as other methods such as latching, bonding or the like.
  • the groove 70 according to this embodiment is formed lower than the upper surface of the upper blade 21, the groove is not limited thereto but may be formed lower than a surface (the upper surfaces of the vertical walls 61c and 64) on which the cover body 50 is disposed.
  • the positioning of the cover body 50 in the front-rear direction is performed through the contact between the rear plate 54 of the cover body 50 and the rear attachment post 62 and the contact between the protruding portion 55 of the cover body 50 and the groove end surface 71
  • the positioning is not limited thereto but may be performed through the contact between the inner walls of the pull-tab accommodating portions 52a of the cover body 50 and the vertical surface that is the rear surface of the protrusion 66 and contact between the protruding portion 55 of the cover body 50 and the groove end surface 71.
