Abstract

Es wird ein Lätzchen beansprucht, welches sich in Längsrichtung aus einem um den Hals des Kindes legbaren Kragenabschnitt (9) und einem als Fläche (11) bis zum Abschlussrand (12) des Lätzchens (1) reichenden Schutzabschnitt (10) zusammensetzt und das sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass sich reibungserhöhende Mittel (20) an der Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts (10) vom Abschlussrand (12) aus über nur einen Teil der Fläche (11) erstrecken.

Description

'Kinderlätzchen' Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kinderlätzchen, welches sich in Längsrichtung aus einem um den Hals des Kindes legbaren Kragenabschnitt und einem als Fläche bis zum Abschlussrand des Lätzchens reichenden Schutzabschnitt zusammensetzt.
Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist beispielsweise als Lätzchen zur Verwendung beim Essen und/oder Füttern von Kindern und Kranken bzw. Pflegebedürftigen bekannt. Die aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Lätzchen weisen einen Schutzabschnitt in Form eines Stoffteils auf, durch welchen zumindest der vor Verunreinigungen zu schützende Bereich der Bekleidung, d. h. in der Regel der Brustbereich, bedeckbar ist. Die bekannten Lätzchen weisen ferner einen Befestigungsabschnitt in Form von Schnürbändern oder ähnlichen Anordnungen auf, mit welchem das Lätzchen um den Hals des Kindes oder des Kranken bzw. Pflegebedürftigen bindbar ist.
Die Lätzchen sollen verhindern, dass Nahrungsmittel oder Flüssigkeiten auf die Kleidung der Kinder bzw. der pflegebedürftigen Personen gelangen. Herkömmliche Lätzchen bedecken nur einen Teil der Kleidung des Kindes oder der pflegebedürftigen Person. Vor allem der Beinbereich ist häufig ungeschützt da selbst lange Lätzchen die Beine nicht mehr bedecken, wenn das Kind im Hochstuhl bzw. die zu fütternde Person in einem entsprechenden Stuhl angeschnallt ist. Die Lätzchen reichen dann nur bis zu dem Punkt, an dem ein zur Sitzfläche senkrecht laufender Balken oder Haltegurt in die Konstruktion des Stuhls integriert ist, der ein Herausrutschen der Person nach vorne aus dem Stuhl verhindern soll. Besonders flüssige Nahrungsmittel wie Brei, Suppe etc. fallen bei der Verwendung üblicher Lätzchen meistens auf die Beine der Person, d. h. die Bekleidung wird befleckt. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass die Nahrungsmittel, die abfallen, häufig bis auf den Boden des Essraumes fallen. Der Erfindung liegt somit die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Kleidungsschutz für Erwachsene oder Kinder zur Verfügung zu stellen, die bei der Essensaufnahme koordinative Probleme im Umfang mit dem Essbesteck haben, wobei nicht nur die Kleidung im Beinbereich geschützt werden soll sondern auch herunterfallende Essensreste aufgefangen werden sollen. Die Aufgabe wird durch ein Lätzchen der eingangs genannten Art gelöst, welches reibungserhöhende Mittel an der Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts aufweist, die sich vom Abschlussrand aus über nur einen Teil der Fläche erstrecken. Das erfindungsgemäße Lätzchen lässt sich dem Kind bzw. der pflegebedürftigen Person wie ein übliches Lätzchen umbinden. Der Teil des Lätzchens, welcher das reibungserhöhende Mittel an der Unterseite aufweist, wird auf den Tisch oder die Ablagefläche für den Essteller gelegt. Das reibungserhöhende Mittel bewirkt, dass der zum Abschlussrand hin reichende Abschnitt auf dem Tisch bzw. der Ablagefläche für den Essteller verbleibt und nicht wegrutscht. Der Schutzabschnitt des Lätzchens erstreckt sich somit vom Tisch bis hin zum Brustlatz bzw. zur Befestigung am Hals des Lätzchens. Herunterfallende Nahrungsmittel werden von diesem Schutzabschnitt aufgefangen durch die erfindungsgemäße Anordnung wird nicht nur der Brustbereich des Kindes bzw. der zu pflegenden Person sondern auch die Beine und der Boden vor herabfallenden Nahrungsmitteln geschützt. Nach Beendigung der Mahlzeit kann der Schutzabschnitt umgeklappt werden und das Lätzchen abgenommen werden, ohne dass die Essensreste herausfallen.
Durch die reibungserhöhenden Mittel soll vermieden werden, dass das Lätzchen an seiner Auflagefläche auf den Tisch oder der Unterlage für den Essteller und diese Auflage sich relativ zueinander bewegen, d. h. das Lätzchen während des Essens verrutscht. Das reibungserhöhende Mittel kann ausgewählt sein aus beliebigen Materialien, die auf den Schutzabschnitt aufgebracht werden können und die Reibung zwischen dem Lätzchen und der Auflagefläche erhöhen. Das Mittel kann beispielsweise aus dem Gewebe bzw. Material sein, aus welchem das Lätzchen besteht, haften. Damit ist eine zusätzliche Stabilisierung und/oder Haftung des Lätzchens gewährleistet. Es kann auch in Form einer Beschichtung aufgebracht werden. In einer weiteren Ausführungsform ist das reibungserhöhende Mittel ein gummiertes Zusatzgewebe, welches auf der Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts aufgebracht wird. Das Material, aus welchem das Lätzchen hergestellt ist, kann ein übliches, in der Maschine waschbares Gewebe aus natürlichen und synthetischen Materialien sein oder ein Kunststoffmaterial, dessen Oberfläche abwischbar ist.
Das reibungserhöhende Mittel dient dazu, sicherzustellen, dass der untere Schutzabschnitt des Lätzchens auf der Tischoberfläche bzw. der Ablagefläche für den Essteller verbleibt und nicht wegrutscht und zwar üblicherweise in einem solchen Bereich, dass auch die Tischfläche im Umfang des Esstellers abgedeckt ist. Es ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich, dass der gesamte Schutzabschnitt des Lätzchens mit reibungserhöhenden Mitteln versehen ist, vorzugsweise erstrecken sich die reibungserhöhenden Mittel auf einen Randstreifen entlang des Abschlussrandes. Es ist üblicherweise ausreichend, wenn die Fläche des Randstreifens, welche mit reibungserhöhendem Mittel versehen ist, nicht mehr als ein Drittel der Fläche des Schutzabschnitts beträgt. Ist das Lätzchen waschmaschinenfest, so ist auch das reibungserhöhende Mittel waschmaschinenfest bei einer Waschtemperatur von z. B. 60 'Ό.
In einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung der vorliegenden Erfindung sind die reibungserhöhenden Mittel derart ausgewählt, dass sie dem Randstreifen, welcher mit dem reibungserhöhenden Mittel versehen ist, eine im Vergleich zu der übrigen Fläche des Schutzabschnitts erhöhte Steifheit verleihen.
In einer möglichen Ausgestaltung der vorliegenden Erfindung ist der Abschlussrand derart ausgestaltet, dass er zumindest auf einem Mittelabschnitt als eine konkav verlaufende Kreiskontur oder mehreckige Ausnehmung gestaltet ist. Diese Ausgestaltung hat den Vorteil, dass der Teller auf dem Tisch bzw. einer glatten Oberfläche abgestellt werden kann aber vom Lätzchen selbst umgeben ist, so dass herunterfallende Nahrungsmittelreste vom Lätzchen aufgefangen werden. Mögliche Ausgestaltungen der vorliegenden Erfindung sind in den beigefügten Figuren dargestellt. Es zeigen

Das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Lätzchen setzt sich in Längsrichtung aus einem um den Hals des Kindes legbaren Kragenabschnitt 9 und einem als Fläche 1 1 bis zum Abschlussrand 12 des Lätzchens 1 reichenden Schutzabschnitt 10 zusammen. Der Kragenabschnitt 9 weist eine Halsöffnung 4 auf die um den Hals des Kindes oder der pflegebedürftigen Person herum gelegt wird und mit einem Verschluss 5 verschlossen werden kann. Der Verschluss 5 kann von Knopf und Knopfloch, Druckknöpfen, einem Magnet- oder Klettverschluss oder auch Bändern gebildet werden.
Für die Verwendung wird das Lätzchen der Person um den Hals gebunden. Ein Randstreifen 13, der sich vom Abschlussrand 12 aus über nur einen Teil der Länge der Fläche 1 1 bzw. des Schutzabschnitts 10 erstreckt, wird auf die hier nicht dargestellte Tischfläche flach aufgelegt. An der Tischkante legt sich der Schutzabschnitt nach unten und steigt, unter Bildung einer Rinne 14, in Richtung Brustbereich des Kindes oder der pflegebedürftigen Person an. In der so gebildeten Rinne 14 werden Nahrungsmittel aufgefangen, die beim Essen herunterfallen. Je nach Länge des Schutzabschnitts 10 bildet sich eine mehr oder weniger tiefe Rinne. Sie sollte nicht so tief sein, dass die Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts 10 auf den Oberschenkeln des Kindes aufliegt, aber auch nicht so flach sein, dass die Hände mit dem heruntergefallenen Nahrungsmittel direkt wieder in Kontakt kommen. In der hier dargestellten Ausführungsform ist zu sehen, dass sich die Fläche 1 1 des Schutzabschnitts 10 in Richtung Abschlussrand 12 hin verbreitert. Im Bereich des Oberkörpers hat der Schutzabschnitt 10 etwa die Breite des Oberkörpers. Im Bereich der Auflagefläche 13 auf dem Tisch ist der Schutzabschnitt 10 so breit, dass er in Querrichtung an beiden Seiten über die Größe eines Esstellers hinausragt.
In der in Fig. 3 dargestellten Perspektive von oben ist noch einmal deutlich zu sehen, wie sich der Schutzabschnitt 10 zu dem Randstreifen 13 hin stetig verbreitert.
Fig. 4 zeigt die Rückseite 1 , also die Unterseite des Lätzchens. Ein reibungserhöhendes Mittel 20 erstreckt sich an der Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts 10 vom Abschlussrand 12 aus über nur einen Teil der Fläche 1 1 . In der hier dargestellten Ausführungsform beschränken sich die reibungserhöhenden Mittel 20 auf jenen Randstreifen 13 entlang des Abschlussrandes 12, mit dem das Lätzchen auf dem Tisch aufliegt. Z. B. ist dieser Randstreifen 13 etwa so breit wie der Durchmesser eines üblichen Tellers oder etwas größer. Der Teller liegt bei der Benutzung also auf dem Randstreifen 13 auf und belastet diesen. ln Fig. 5 ist eine weitere Ausgestaltung des Lätzchens 1 gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung dargestellt. Das Lätzchen weist, wie die Ausführungsform aus Fig. 1 , einen Kragenabschnitt 9 mit einer Halsöffnung 4 auf. Die Halsöffnung 4 kann mittels des Verschlusses 5 im Nacken der jeweiligen Person verbunden werden. Vom Kragenabschnitt 9 in Richtung Abschlussrand 12 erstreckt sich der Schutzabschnitt 10, der die Person und insbesondere die Kleidung vor Verschmutzungen mit Nahrungsmitteln schützen soll. Das reibungserhöhende Mittel 20 erstreckt sich vom Abschlussrand 12 über nur einen Randstreifen 13 an der Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts 10. In der hier dargestellten Ausführungsform ist der Abschlussrand 12 zumindest auf einem Mittelabschnitt als eine konkav verlaufende Kreiskontur 12a gestaltet. Die Kontur kann auch als (mehr)eckige Ausnehmung gestaltet sein. Wird das Lätzchen im Gebrauch mit seinem Randstreifen 13 auf einen Tisch 30 aufgelegt, erstreckt sich der Randstreifen 13 vom Abschlussrand 12 bis zur Tischkante 31 . Der Essteller 32 kann im Bereich der konkav verlaufenden Kontur direkt auf der Tischoberseite und nicht auf dem Randstreifen 13 abgestellt werden. Die äußeren seitlichen Bereiche 15 des Abschlussrandes 13 umschließen die Auflagefläche des Tellers, so dass das Lätzchen 1 entfernt werden kann, ohne zunächst den Teller beiseite stellen zu müssen. Auf der anderen Seite kann der Teller 32 mit seiner Stellfläche direkt auf den Tisch gestellt werden und behält seine volle Stabilität bei. Zudem führt ein heftiges Ziehen am Lätzchen nicht zu einem Mitreißen des Tellers und seines Inhalts. In der hier dargestellten Perspektive ist auch die von Schutzabschnitt 10 durch das Auflegen des Streifens 13 auf den Tisch die Rinne 14 zu sehen.

Claims

Ansprüche
Lätzchen, welches sich in Längsrichtung aus einem um den Hals des Kindes legbaren Kragenabschnitt (9) und einem als Fläche (1 1 ) bis zum Abschlussrand (12) des Lätzchens (1 ) reichenden Schutzabschnitt (10) zusammensetzt, gekennzeichnet durch reibungserhöhende Mittel (20) an der Unterseite des Schutzabschnitts (10), die sich vom Abschlussrand (12) aus über nur einen Teil der Fläche (1 1 ) erstrecken.
Lätzchen nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das reibungserhöhende Mittel (20) eine Haftschicht auf dem Gewebe ist, aus dem das Lätzchen (1 ) besteht.
