Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dorsokinetic backrest of a chair, in particular an office swivel chair.
- the present invention further relates to a chair with a dorsokinetic backrest.
- Bearings for seating exist in various embodiments.
- a special type of storage of a seating furniture element on another piece of seating furniture constitute so-called elastomeric bearings.
- These elastomeric bearings serve the purpose of allowing a certain mobility in the bearing point in several and in particular in all rotational degrees of freedom.
- Elastomeric bearings are e.g. used to connect a backrest to a seat support.
- An example of this is the office swivel chair manufactured and sold by the company Sedus Stoll AG under the name "black dot”.
- dorsokinetisch flexible joints or dorsokinetic bearings we also speak of dorsokine perennial flexible joints or dorsokinetic bearings.
- the tethered with such camps backrests are also referred to as dorsokinetic backrests.
- This type of backrest like a human joint, aids in turning, sideways and back movements.
- a dorsokinetic backrest is for example in the German patent application DE 100 48 779 A1 described.
- the steel plates and the rubber sleeves have a central passage opening.
- One of the steel plates has on the side of the backrest carrier on a conical recess at the passage opening.
- a tapered pin engaging with the conical recess is connected to the seat back.
- the DE 20 2011 050 776 U1 shows an office swivel chair with a backrest support and with a base plate, wherein between the backrest support and the base plate a common linear guide is provided, which is designed such that it allows a single degree of freedom of the base plate relative to the backrest support.
- EP 0 308 538 A1 Another example is out EP 0 308 538 A1 known.
- the present invention seeks to provide an improved dorsokinetic backrest.
- this object is achieved by a dorsokinetic backrest with the features of claim 1 and / or by a chair with the features of claim 13.
- the idea underlying the present invention is to provide a height-displaceable relative to the backrest support base plate between the backrest support and the dorsokinetician bearing. This is coupled via the dorsokinetic bearing with the backrest frame.
- the base plate on the backrest carrier is the only degree of freedom adjustable in height.
- the linear guide represents a pentavalent bearing.
- the rotational degree of freedom about the linear axis is also defined.
- the seating is preferably an office seating, especially an office swivel chair.
- the height displacement is to be understood as a displacement substantially perpendicular to a plane on which the seating stands. Angle positions to the vertical of up to 30 ° are conceivable.
- an adjustability of the backrest of an office swivel chair with respect to the backrest angle or also a, in particular coupled with a synchronous mechanism, pivotability of the backrest is also conceivable. However, this is not realized via the connection between backrest support and base plate. If such functions are provided, they are realized with a mechanism between the backrest support and seat support of a chair.
- a synchronous mechanism is then provided in addition to the dorsokinetic backrest according to the invention, for example between backrest support and seat support.
- the height of the backrest according to the invention can be locked, for example, with a lock in a desired position.
- the sixth degree of freedom of the translational adjustability in height direction can also be set be so that a statically determined storage of the base plate on the backrest support is possible.
- the linear guide forms a rigid bearing in five degrees of freedom for the base plate, which is adjustable in a plurality of predetermined height positions.
- the rigid bearing is intended to realize the mobility of the dorsokinetic backrest essentially via the dorsokinetic bearing and not to be influenced by a mobility of the mounting of the base plate on the backrest support.
- the dorsokinetic backrest apart from the dorsokinetic bearing, despite the height adjustment on a high rigidity, whereby the dorsokinetic bearing works as intended and can be designed ergonomically.
- the final assembly of such a backrest is very simple.

- a flexible locking lug which when overcoming jumps over a predetermined latching force in a next predetermined detent position.
- the base plate for example, can be moved manually relative to the backrest carrier.
- electrical adjustability is also conceivable, with the latching mechanism containing, for example, a toothed wheel which can assume various latching positions by rotating the toothed wheel.
- the base plate in an unassembled or preassembled state for taking a preassembled state on the backrest support in such a way in the linear guide and the Rastarret ist that it is locked by height displacement of the base plate relative to the backrest support with the latching detent.
- the base plate must be introduced, for example, for final assembly of the chair only in the linear guide and moved in the vertical direction.
- the base plate is displaced in the vertical direction until the locking detent is locked at a first predetermined detent position of the base plate relative to the backrest carrier.
- the final assembly is thus tool-free and can be easily done, for example, by an individual with a few assembly steps.
- the linear guide has at least three guide elements.
- the linear guide preferably has four guide elements.

The present invention relates to a dorsokinetic backrest of a chair, in particular an office swivel chair. The present invention further relates to a chair with a dorsokinetic backrest.
Bearings for seating exist in various embodiments. A special type of storage of a seating furniture element on another piece of seating furniture constitute so-called elastomeric bearings. These elastomeric bearings serve the purpose of allowing a certain mobility in the bearing point in several and in particular in all rotational degrees of freedom.
Elastomeric bearings are e.g. used to connect a backrest to a seat support. An example of this is the office swivel chair manufactured and sold by the company Sedus Stoll AG under the name "black dot". When using such elastomeric bearings in backrests we also speak of dorsokinetisch flexible joints or dorsokinetic bearings. The tethered with such camps backrests are also referred to as dorsokinetic backrests. This type of backrest, like a human joint, aids in turning, sideways and back movements.

Against this background, the present invention seeks to provide an improved dorsokinetic backrest.
According to the invention this object is achieved by a dorsokinetic backrest with the features of
- A dorsokinetic backrest for a chair, in particular for an office swivel chair, with a backrest support and with a base plate on which a dorsokinetisches bearing is provided, wherein between the backrest support and the base plate, a common linear guide is provided, which is designed such that it allows a single degree of freedom of the base plate relative to the backrest support.
- A seating furniture, in particular an office swivel chair, with a seat support, with a height-adjustable dorsokinetic Backrest according to one of the preceding claims, wherein a backrest frame is attached to the dorsokinetic bearing and the backrest support is attachable to the seat support.
The idea underlying the present invention is to provide a height-displaceable relative to the backrest support base plate between the backrest support and the dorsokinetischen bearing. This is coupled via the dorsokinetic bearing with the backrest frame. By means of the linear guide, the base plate on the backrest carrier is the only degree of freedom adjustable in height. The linear guide represents a pentavalent bearing. Thus, the rotational degree of freedom about the linear axis is also defined.
The seating is preferably an office seating, especially an office swivel chair. The height displacement is to be understood as a displacement substantially perpendicular to a plane on which the seating stands. Angle positions to the vertical of up to 30 ° are conceivable. For example, an adjustability of the backrest of an office swivel chair with respect to the backrest angle or also a, in particular coupled with a synchronous mechanism, pivotability of the backrest is also conceivable. However, this is not realized via the connection between backrest support and base plate. If such functions are provided, they are realized with a mechanism between the backrest support and seat support of a chair. A synchronous mechanism is then provided in addition to the dorsokinetic backrest according to the invention, for example between backrest support and seat support.
The height of the backrest according to the invention can be locked, for example, with a lock in a desired position. Thus, the sixth degree of freedom of the translational adjustability in height direction can also be set be so that a statically determined storage of the base plate on the backrest support is possible.
The linear guide forms a rigid bearing in five degrees of freedom for the base plate, which is adjustable in a plurality of predetermined height positions. The rigid bearing is intended to realize the mobility of the dorsokinetic backrest essentially via the dorsokinetic bearing and not to be influenced by a mobility of the mounting of the base plate on the backrest support. Preferably, when the height adjustment is just not done, and the sixth degree of freedom of the vertical displacement releasably locked. Thus, the dorsokinetic backrest, apart from the dorsokinetic bearing, despite the height adjustment on a high rigidity, whereby the dorsokinetic bearing works as intended and can be designed ergonomically.
Thus, a very ergonomic and easily adaptable to different body sizes dorsokinetic backrest is provided on the whole.
As a further advantage, the final assembly of such a backrest is very simple. For example, it is conceivable that a chair with the backrest is delivered in a preassembled state. In the preassembled state z. B. the backrest support to the seat support of the chair. On the base plate, the dorsokinetische bearing is attached to which the backrest frame is attached. The backrest frame is preferably provided with a pad or a string membrane. The base plate now only has to be inserted into the linear guide for final assembly. The final assembly is thus without tools and can z. B. be made by an individual with a few assembly steps.
This also results in a logistical advantage in the delivery of the seat, because this is volume-optimized transportable in the non-assembled or pre-assembled state. In the non-assembled or preassembled state, the seating furniture with a better volume utilization is packable and thus cheaper to transport than in the assembled state. The simple assembly makes it possible for the buyer, for example, as a home assembly or the seller before selling. The volume-optimized type of transport is thus favored by the ease of assembly. Alternatively, the ease of assembly allows shipping to a distributor to complete the final assembly at the point of sale rather than at the factory. Thus, transport volume is saved on delivery, which reduces transport costs. According to the invention, a common latching detent is provided between the backrest support and the base plate, which is designed to lock the baseplate relative to the backrest support at various predetermined positions of the linear guide. With the locking detent the sixth degree of freedom of height adjustment can be advantageously set easily and quickly. Furthermore, the locking detent is preferably detachable, so that the height position of the base plate is easily adjustable by releasing the locking detent to another predetermined position. To move the height of the base plate or to release the locking detent different mechanics, such as a releasable locking lever are conceivable. Furthermore, for example, also conceivable to provide a flexible locking lug, which when overcoming jumps over a predetermined latching force in a next predetermined detent position. If the locking catch is solved or overcome, the base plate, for example, can be moved manually relative to the backrest carrier. As an alternative to manual shifting, electrical adjustability is also conceivable, with the latching mechanism containing, for example, a toothed wheel which can assume various latching positions by rotating the toothed wheel.
According to the invention, the base plate in an unassembled or preassembled state for taking a preassembled state on the backrest support in such a way in the linear guide and the Rastarretierung that it is locked by height displacement of the base plate relative to the backrest support with the latching detent. Thus, the base plate must be introduced, for example, for final assembly of the chair only in the linear guide and moved in the vertical direction. The base plate is displaced in the vertical direction until the locking detent is locked at a first predetermined detent position of the base plate relative to the backrest carrier. The final assembly is thus tool-free and can be easily done, for example, by an individual with a few assembly steps. Advantageous embodiments and further developments will become apparent from the other dependent claims and from the description with reference to the figures of the drawing. According to an advantageous embodiment, the linear guide has at least three guide elements. The linear guide preferably has four guide elements. Furthermore, the linear guide has at least two guiding means which can be guided linearly with the guide elements. The guide means are designed such that they are easily guided in the guide elements, so that the linear guide is height adjustable with little effort. Preferably, the guide elements on the backrest support and the Guiding means provided on the base plate, wherein alternatively also a reverse assignment is possible. The guide elements may be formed, for example, as running grooves or hook-like projections or the like. The guide means are then formed, for example, as corresponding thereto, in the guide elements linearly executable guide rails. By the number of at least three guide elements a pentavalent bearing is realized. For example, the linear guide with three parallel aligned, longitudinally and transversely to each other staggered guide elements may be formed, wherein the respective guide means guided therein are rigidly interconnected. By this connection of the guide means the rotational degrees of freedom are set. Thus, a total of a pentavalent bearing is provided, which only allows a translational degree of freedom in the form of height displacement.
In an advantageous embodiment, a key or a lever is provided on the base plate, which is or is designed to release the locking detent. Thus, by releasing the lever or the button, the locking catch can be released and the base plate can be adjusted in height relative to the backrest support. This ensures that the height adjustment is not activated unintentionally. Preferably, the key or the lever is arranged in an easily accessible position, so that the adjustability is easy to accomplish. In this case, on the one hand positions, in particular for a lever, in question, which can be reached for easier and direct adjustability of a person sitting on the chair person. This has the advantage that the adjustment can be made relatively quickly and you do not have to get up to it. On the other hand, it is also conceivable to provide the position such that the person sitting on the chair person stands up to adjust the height of the seating and, for example, arranged on the back of the backrest Press key. This has the advantage that a high level of operating safety is ensured. Furthermore, the key can thus be provided directly in the area of the locking catch, whereby the complexity and the number of necessary parts decreases. It is also conceivable that both a button and a lever are provided by means of which the locking detent is operable.
According to a preferred embodiment, the locking detent on a plurality of in a row, in particular in a vertical row, arranged locking means. The orientation of the row is here to be understood as being essentially vertical, that is with angular deviations in the range of less than 15% to the vertical. As an angle adjustment in particular the slight back adjustment of the backrest comes into question, which can be useful for adapting the seat geometry to different body sizes. Further, the locking means are preferably provided on the backrest support and are thus pivoted with a pivoting of the backrest support. Due to the row-like arrangement of the locking means, a plurality of predetermined by the locking means height positions of the base plate can be advantageously taken relative to the backrest support.
According to a preferred embodiment, the latching means are formed as latching grooves, wherein preferably two rows of latching grooves are provided. These are in particular each at least partially disposed between two vertically spaced guide elements. Thus, for example, two linear guides are provided, wherein the guide means are coupled together and thereby the fifth degree of freedom is set. On each of the linear guides locking grooves are provided for setting the sixth degree of freedom. Alternatively, only a number of locking grooves could be provided.
In a preferred embodiment, a locking lever is provided on the base plate, which has a latchable in the locking grooves locking extension. By means of the locking lever thus the base plate can be locked with the locking grooves. For this purpose, the latching projection is inserted into a latching groove or locked with the same. For this purpose, the locking lever preferably has a spring preload which presses the latching extension into the latching groove. Alternatively or additionally, the spring preload can also be provided on the button or on the lever, via which or which of the locking lever can be operated. In this way, the spring bias of the button or the lever also acts on the locking lever.
In preferred embodiments, the backrest support has two substantially vertically oriented webs and a web connecting the webs, substantially horizontally oriented cross member. The webs have a trained for connection with a seat furniture section. The webs further comprise Höhenverstellabschnitte, which are arranged vertically and each comprise at least one guide element and a number of locking means. The guide elements and locking means are preferably formed integrally with the webs. Thus, the linear guide and the Rastarretierung run along the webs, which act simultaneously as structural support members and as linear guide elements. The webs may be additionally connected to a synchronous mechanism or an angular adjustment of the backrest carrier.
According to a preferred embodiment, the locking lever has a transverse axis and two latching extensions, which have a transverse distance corresponding to the distance of the height adjustment sections. The latching extensions are attached to the transverse axis. Thus, the locking lever with both Rastfortsätzen latched into the locking grooves of the two Höhenverstellabschnitte simultaneously. Advantageously, therefore, only the button or the lever needs to be operated in order to simultaneously lock or unlock the locking lever on both height adjustment sections.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the transverse axis is rotatably mounted in the base plate. Furthermore, the locking lever has a guided in the backdrop of the button or the lever guide arm. The slide and the guide arm are formed such that the lock lever releases the lock detent in a depressed state of the button or the lever and locked in a non-depressed state of the button or the lever. Thus, the locking lever can be locked and released via simple operation of the button or the lever. Furthermore, the key or the lever or its gate is designed such that the key or the lever in particular by a spring bias in the non-actuated or depressed state automatically assumes the locked position.
In preferred embodiments, an anti-fuse for securing the locking lever against unwanted rotation in the non-depressed state of the key or the lever is additionally provided. The anti-fuse is provided in particular as a support of the guide arm on a securing portion of the gate. This can for example be designed as a flat portion, which is aligned in the locked state normal to the necessary to release the locking lever rotational direction of the guide arm. Thus, the locking lever is locked in the locked state against unwanted rotation.
According to one embodiment, the guide elements are designed as guide rails projecting from the backrest carrier which sliding surfaces are provided. In particular, both the guide elements of the backrest support and the guide means of the base plate, in particular in one piece, are formed from aluminum. The sliding surfaces have in this case a corresponding preparation, which reduces the coefficient of friction. Preferably, sliding bearings are provided for this purpose on the sliding surfaces. These plain bearings can be provided, for example, as a plastic sleeve or also contain conventional plain bearing materials such as tin, bronze, brass, lead, ceramic and / or the like.
In a preferred embodiment, a cover is provided on the base plate on the backrest side, which is designed to cover the locking catch and in particular to hold the locking lever and the button on the base plate. For example, the cover can be provided at the same time as a kind of cover for the bearings or guides of the locking lever and the button on the base plate. Furthermore, a jamming protection is provided by covering the locking catch. Thus, the height adjustment of the dorso-kinetic backrest is easy to use feasible.

The accompanying figures of the drawing are intended to convey a further understanding of the embodiments of the invention. They illustrate embodiments and, together with the description, serve to explain principles and concepts of the invention. Other embodiments and many of the stated advantages will become apparent with reference to the drawings. The elements of the drawings are not necessarily shown to scale to each other.
In the figures of the drawing are the same, functionally identical and same-acting elements, features and components - unless otherwise stated - each provided with the same reference numerals.
The
The office swivel chair, in addition to the dorsokinetic backrest on a
The
The

A same, mirror-inverted linear guide 5 is provided on the
Although the present invention has been fully described above with reference to preferred embodiments, it is not limited thereto but is modifiable in a variety of ways.
For example, instead of the locking lever, a motor-adjustable locking device can be provided.
The linear guide could be provided as a single linear guide with a rotational degree of freedom about the linear axis limiting training. For example, a running with a low tolerance in a square guide square tube is conceivable.
Accordingly, a design of the backrest carrier with only one web is conceivable, provided that it is sufficiently rigid.
Instead of the plain bearings, a linear guide of the guide means in the guide elements with roller bearings is conceivable.
