Abstract

Wärmeübertrager (1) mit einem Block aus parallel zueinander angeordneten Flachrohren (4) und zwischen den Flachrohren angeordneten Rippen, wobei die Flachrohre (4) Strömungskanäle bilden, welche von einem Kältemittel durchströmbar sind und die Flachrohre von einem Kühlmittel umströmbar sind, wobei die Flachrohre an ihren Endbereichen mit Sammelkästen (2, 2a) in Fluidkommunikation stehen, wobei das Kältemittel in einen Einströmbereich (3) eines Sammelkasten (2) einströmbar ist, welcher mit zumindest einem der Strömungskanäle in Fluidkommunikation steht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Einströmbereich (3) eine sich durch den Einströmbereich (3) erstreckende Leitung (5, 5a) zum Einströmen des Kältemittels aufweist, wobei ein Kältemittelübertritt (6) von der Leitung (5, 5a) zum Einströmbereich (3) des Sammelkastens (2) vorgesehen ist, welcher im mittleren Bereich des Einströmbereiches (3) des Sammelkastens (2) angeordnet ist, wobei der mittlere Bereich auf eine Richtung bezogen ist, die senkrecht zu einer Ebene der Flachrohre (4) orientiert ist.
