As the finger 20 is connected to the writing tip 10 through the slider 13 and the refill 12, the rotation of the rear body 3 in one or the other direction about the longitudinal axis X with respect to the front body 2, will actuate the movement of the writing tip 10 between its retracted position, illustrated in FIG. figure 6 , and its writing position, illustrated on the figure 7 . In the position of withdrawal illustrated on the figure 6 , the writing tip 10 is received in the front body 2, and more specifically, in the illustrated embodiment, in the mouthpiece 5. In the writing position, illustrated in FIG. figure 7 the writing tip 10 protrudes beyond the front end of the front body 2.

Subsequently, the refill 12 can be easily replaced by unscrewing the nozzle 5, without having to separate the entire front body 2 of the rear body 3.

Claims (16)

  1. A writing instrument (1) comprising:
    a front body (2) with an ergonomic grasping segment (4) asymmetrical relative to a first longitudinal plane (A), and
    a rear body (3) asymmetrical relative to a second longitudinal plane (B), and
    characterized in that the rear body (3) is capable of rotating relative to the front body (2) about a longitudinal axis (X) corresponding to a line of intersection between the first longitudinal plane (A) and the second longitudinal plane (B), between a position adapted to gripping with a right hand and a position adapted to gripping with a left hand.
  2. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said ergonomic grasping segment (4) has, on one side of said first longitudinal plane (A), a rib (6) oriented longitudinally, and radially projecting relative to a grasping surface (8) of said segment (4).
  3. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 2, wherein said rib (6) protrudes by at least 2 mm relative to the grasping surface (8) of said segment (4).
  4. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein said ergonomic grasping segment (4) has a stop flange (7) for fingers in the direction of a front end of the front body (2).
  5. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein said ergonomic grasping segment (4) has a supple grasping surface (8).
  6. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 5, wherein said supple grasping surface (8) is overmoulded on the ergonomic grasping segment (4).
  7. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein said writing instrument (1) also comprises:
    a writing point (10), and
    a retraction and extension mechanism of the writing point, actionable by relative rotation of the front and rear bodies (2, 3), and configured such that the writing point (10) is retracted in the front body (2) when the rear body (3) and the front body (2) are in an intermediate position between the position adapted to gripping with the right hand and the position adapted to gripping with the left hand, and projecting beyond a front end of the front body (2) when the rear body (3) and the front body (2) are in the position adapted to gripping with the right hand or in the position adapted to gripping with the left hand.
  8. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 7, wherein the said retraction and extension mechanism comprises a cam surface (21) secured in rotation with one of said front and rear bodies (2,3), and an element secured in rotation with the other of said front and rear bodies (2,3) and in contact with said cam surface (21), the cam surface (21) or the said element in contact with the cam surface being capable of moving inside the writing instrument (1) along the said longitudinal axis (X) and being secured to the writing point (10) at least in translation along the longitudinal axis (X).
  9. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, further comprising a tubular piece (14) for axial joining of the front body (2) with the rear body (3) via elastic snap-fit.
  10. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 9, wherein said tubular piece (14) has radial shoulders opposite corresponding shoulders of the front and rear bodies (2,3) for axial retaining of said tubular piece (14) relative to said front and rear bodies (2,3).
  11. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 9 or 10, wherein said tubular piece (14) is received inside the writing instrument (1).
  12. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 9 to 11, wherein said tubular piece (14) is secured in rotation with one of said front and rear bodies (2,3) and has two rotational stops (33) relative to the other of said front and rear bodies (2,3).
  13. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of claims 9 to 12, wherein said tubular piece (14) has a longitudinal slot (29).
  14. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 13, wherein said tubular piece (14), in said longitudinal slot (29), receives a rib (25) secured to one of said front or rear bodies (2,3) with which it is secured in rotation.
  15. The writing instrument (1) as claimed in claim 14, wherein the rib (25) is press-fitted into the longitudinal slot (29).
  16. A method for using a writing instrument (1) as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the ergonomic grasping segment (4) is held between the tips of the thumb and at least one of the index finger or middle finger of one same hand, and the rear body (3) is rotated relative to the front body (2) towards the position adapted to gripping with a right hand or towards the position adapted to gripping with a left hand depending on the hand used, so as to ensure the supporting of the rear body (3) in the grasping angle between the index finger and the thumb.
