Definitions
- the invention relates to a thermal insulation panel for a thermal insulation system, in particular a composite thermal insulation system, with the features of the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a thermal insulation system, in particular a composite thermal insulation system, with at least one such thermal insulation board.
- a composite thermal insulation system comprises a single or multi-layer heat insulating layer formed from several thermal insulation panels and a cleaning system that is applied as an outer cover layer on the thermal barrier coating.
- rigid foam boards in particular polystyrene rigid foam boards, are used as thermal insulation boards. Because these have good thermal insulation properties and at the same time form an optimal plaster base. In addition, they are relatively inexpensive.
- a façade-Volluxtik composite system which includes an effective as a fire barrier, insulation board made of polystyrene foam.
- the insulation board made of polystyrene foam has for this purpose a full thickness of the insulation board formed, embedded or attached strips of a non-melting in the heat, preferably non-flammable or flame-retardant insulation.
- This insulating material may be, for example, a mineral fiber or glass fiber insulating material. If a single- or multi-layered plaster layer is subsequently applied, however, the use of such insulating materials within an insulating layer consisting of polystyrene rigid foam can lead to undesired color deviations or markings on the facade.
- thermo insulation composite system with plastic insulation panels made of hard foam, in particular polystyrene foam, proposed, which comprises a provided with a flame retardant and arranged between adjacent insulation panels fabric to form a release layer.
- the heat causes foaming and curing of the flame retardant, so that a stabilization of the separation layer takes place.
- a composite material for thermal insulation of a building wall comprising a plate of polyphenyl or polyether urethane or of an extruded material.
- the plate material has a surface which is coated with a mortar containing a flame retardant.
- a flameproof insulation made of polystyrene foam and a method for producing the same go from the WO 2006/054819 A1 out.
- a paint containing the flame retardant is injected into the thermal insulation of polystyrene foam.
- the paint is applied to the outer surface.
- the present invention seeks to provide a thermal insulation board for a thermal insulation system, in particular a thermal insulation composite system, which prevents fire propagation in the event of fire or at least significantly more difficult.
- the thermal insulation itself should be simple and inexpensive to produce.
- the formation of a thermal insulation system, in particular a composite thermal insulation system, when using such a thermal insulation board should not be complicated.
- the proposed thermal insulation board has two side surfaces connected, parallel surfaces that come to lie in the installed state of the thermal insulation board substantially parallel to a site-side ground.
- at least one side surface of the thermal insulation panel is provided with a flame retardant-containing coating, which is applied directly and over the entire surface of the side surface. If such a plate is installed with further similar plates, preferably two side surfaces provided with a coating containing a flame retardant are opposite each other or against each other and thus form a kind of fire barrier. Fire propagation within the Dämm Anlagenbene is therefore effectively prevented.
- the arrangement of the flame retardant-containing coating is limited to one or more side surfaces and the surfaces connected over the side surfaces remain free of such a coating.
- the arrangement of the flame retardant coating on one or more side surfaces of the thermal insulation panel according to the invention further eliminates the risk of the flame retardant reacting prematurely due to strong solar radiation or loses its effect. Furthermore, the coating is protected against further external influences, in particular damage, since the thermal insulation panels are pushed in the region of the coated side surfaces.
- the limited arrangement of the flame retardant-containing coating also leads to a material and cost savings. This is especially true since the side surfaces are usually much smaller than the surfaces of such thermal insulation panels.
- the thermal insulation board according to the invention on side surfaces which extend substantially perpendicular to the surfaces. Furthermore, at least two side surfaces preferably surround a right angle.
- the thermal insulation board forms a cuboid with a rectangular cross-section.
- the flame retardant-containing coating can be applied very easily.
- a thermal barrier coating such a plate is usually stumped to an adjacent similar plate, so that the respective coated side surfaces come to lie opposite each other or directly to each other.
- At least one side surface has a profile, in particular in the form of a groove, a spring or a stepped rebate.
- a thermal insulation board attached thereto with a side surface of opposite design thus enables a positive connection of the two insulation boards, which counteracts bowls and / or lifting of the insulation boards from the on-site substrate.
- the coating containing flame retardants extends over the entire profile of the side surface. In this way, the effectiveness of the fire barrier is still guaranteed.
- the thermal insulation panel is a thermal insulation material based on a mineral foam, in particular foam glass, based on an organic foam, in particular polystyrene, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate or phenolic resin, based on mineral fibers, in particular mineral wool, rock wool or glass wool, or based on organic fibers, in particular wood fibers, wood wool or fibers of cellulose, hemp or flax.
- mineral insulation materials are less prone to ignition than those of an artificial and / or organic material, they too may contain flammable additives.
- the thermal insulation panel preferably comprises a Thermal insulation material based on a synthetic foam, such as polystyrene, since the invention is particularly useful here.
- the thermal insulation panel has a homogeneous structure, that is, that a thermal insulation material extends over the entire cross section. This ensures that within a side surface no material change takes place, which could complicate a uniform application and / or adhesion of the coating.
- the flame retardant-containing coating comprises an organic and / or inorganic binder. Such a simplifies the application of the coating on a side surface of a thermal insulation board.
- the flame retardant-containing coating is a color, in particular a silicate-based or organic-based paint. Such is applicable in a particularly thin layer, so that the thermal insulation board retains its original dimensions. Further, by applying the paint, a uniform surface appearance of the side surface can be effected.
- the coating contains at least aluminum hydroxide and / or expandable graphite as flame retardant. That is, other flame retardants may also be included, such as other metal hydroxides, alkali metal silicates and hydrates of metal salts or oxides capable of releasing chemically or physically bound water at elevated temperatures, and flame retardants exhibiting pronounced intumescent behavior.
- flame retardants such as other metal hydroxides, alkali metal silicates and hydrates of metal salts or oxides capable of releasing chemically or physically bound water at elevated temperatures, and flame retardants exhibiting pronounced intumescent behavior.
- aluminum hydroxide has the advantage that it is relatively color neutral due to its only slightly whitish color.
- the flame retardant-containing coating has been applied to a side surface by brushing, rolling, spraying, spraying, dipping or dipping.
- the spraying or spraying is preferably carried out using suitable tools, such as a spray or spray gun.
- the application can be carried out manually by brushing or rolling, so that the coating can be applied to the thermal insulation board on site if necessary, for example, to protect a cut surface.
- the flame retardant-containing coating preferably has a layer thickness ⁇ 1.0 mm, preferably ⁇ 0.5 mm, more preferably ⁇ 0.3 mm, i. it is relatively thin-layered.
- the advantages of a thin-layer order are on the one hand in the material savings, on the other hand in avoiding the formation of thermal bridges.
- the flame retardant-containing coating in a layer thickness of 0.3 mm (as a reference value, the layer thickness can of course be chosen differently) an LOI value> 25, preferably> 40, further preferably> 60. Since with increasing LOI value the fire resistance increases, this has a favorable effect on the fire behavior of the claimed thermal insulation board.
- LOI Liting Oxygen Index
- LOI Low Oxygen Index
- the coating containing flame retardants preferably has an sd value according to EN ISO 7783-2> 0.01 m, preferably> 0.02 m, more preferably> 0.03 m.
- the sd value denotes the water vapor diffusion-equivalent air layer thickness and represents a customary measure for the diffusion resistance of a component layer.
- a high sd value, ie a low water vapor permeability, means that the gas permeability is reduced, see above that the oxygen transport is prevented by the coating. A fire spread is thereby counteracted. Since a component layer is considered to be diffusion-tight at an sd value of> 1500 m, the upper limit value of the sd value can be given here as 2000 m.
- thermal insulation composite system comprises at least one inventive thermal insulation board for forming a thermal barrier coating.
- the present system differs from conventional thermal insulation systems in that at least one side surface of a thermal insulation panel has a coating containing flame retardants and thus forms a kind of fire barrier within the insulating layer level of the thermal insulation system.
- several, in particular all side surfaces of the thermal insulation board are provided with a flame retardant coating, so that the fire barrier is formed circumferentially.
- this comprises several thermal insulation panels according to the invention, which are directly impacted to form a thermal barrier coating in each case in the region of a side surface which is provided with a coating containing flame retardants.
- the thermal insulation composite system according to the invention is thus significantly easier trained or trained.
- the design or execution of a thermal insulation system according to the invention corresponds to that of a conventional thermal insulation system, so that it requires no additional training of locally executing companies.
- the thermal insulation system for forming a thermal insulation composite system further comprises a single- or multi-layer plaster layer, which is applied to a surface of at least one thermal insulation panel.
- the present system differs from conventional thermal insulation composite systems in that at least one side surface has a coating containing flame retardants and thus forms a kind of fire barrier within the insulation layer plane of the external thermal insulation composite system.
- several, in particular all side surfaces of the thermal insulation board are provided with a flame retardant coating, so that the fire barrier is formed circumferentially.
- each test setup was blazed for 40 seconds with a blasting flame 6 of a Bunsen burner (Propane Bunsen burner 660 W), the flame 6 being attached to the lowest thermal insulation panel 4 of a stack of panels, respectively down-facing side surface, which has always remained without coating 5.

- Fig. 1
- einen schematische Querschnitt durch einen Versuchsaufbau und
