Ein Maschinengestell 1 einer Maschine zur Herstellung einer einseitig kaschierten Wellpappebahn weist zwei zueinander parallele Seitenwände 2, 3 auf, in denen eine untere Riffelwalze 4 und eine obere Riffelwalze 5 gelagert sind. Wie aus
In Drehrichtung 13 beziehungsweise 14 dem Berührungsbereich 12 nachgeordnet, ist eine Leimauftragseinrichtung 15 im Maschinengestell 1 angeordnet, die einen im Maschinengestell 1 gehaltenen Leimbehälter 16 aufweist. In diesem ist eine Leimauftragswalze 17 gelagert, die von einem Antriebsmotor 18 drehantreibbar ist. Die Leimauftragswalze 17 taucht in ein Leimbad 19 ein, oberhalb dessen eine Abquetschwalze 20 angeordnet ist, die ebenfalls im Leimbehälter 16 gelagert ist und mit der Leimauftragswalze 17 einen Leimspalt begrenzt. Die Leimauftragswalze 17 wird mittels Andrückeinrichtungen 21 mit einer vorgegebenen Kraft in Richtung auf die obere Riffelwalze 5 beaufschlagbar. Diese Andrückeinrichtungen 21 sind als hydraulisch beaufschlagbare Kolben-Zylinder-Antriebe ausgebildet, wie in der Zeichnung angedeutet ist. Diese Andrückeinrichtungen 21 und ihre Ansteuerung sind aus der
Oberhalb der oberen Riffelwalze 5 ist eine Anpresseinrichtung 22 vorgesehen, die eine zylindrische Umlenkwalze 23, eine Spannwalze 24 und ein Anpressband 25 aufweist. Beiderseits der Riffelung 11 der oberen Riffelwalze 5 sind Stützringe 38, 39 auf der oberen Riffelwalze 5 angebracht, deren mittlerer Abstand c voneinander etwa dem Abstand a entspricht, sodass bei einer Bewegung der Leimauftragswalze 17 gegen die obere Riffelwalze 5 die Anlaufringe 36, 37 zur Anlage gegen die Stützringe 38 beziehungsweise 39 kommen, wobei zwischen der zylindrischen Oberfläche 35 der Leimauftragswalze 17 und der Riffelung 11 der oberen Riffelwalze 5 ein deutlich vergrößert dargestellter Spalt 40 mit einer Spaltweite d verbleibt, die geringer als die geringste Dicke von 0,08 mm des auf der Maschine für die Papierbahn 27 einsetzbaren Papiers ist.
