dass zwischen der Riffelwalze (5) und der Leimauftragswalze (17) und seitlich der Riffelung (11) mindestens ein Abstandshalter (41, 42; 41', 42') vorgesehen ist, der einen Sicherheitsspalt (40) mit einer Spaltweite d zwischen der Oberfläche (35) der Leimauftragswalze (17) und der Riffelung (11) aufrecht erhält, wobei die Spaltweite d kleiner als die geringste Dicke der Papierbahn (27) ist,
dass der mindestens eine Abstandshalter (41, 42; 41', 42') einen an der Leimauftragswalze (17) oder an der Riffelwalze (5) angeordneten Anlaufring (36, 37; 36', 37') und eine an der Riffelwalze (5) oder der Leimauftragswalze (17) angeordnete Stützfläche (44, 44') aufweist, wobei bei Berührung von Anlaufring (36, 37; 36', 37') und Stützfläche (44, 44') der Sicherheitsspalt (40) begrenzt wird, und
dass an der Stützfläche (44, 44') ein Reinigungsschaber (41) anliegt.
