For example, if the frame 6 is an aluminum profile, it is advantageous if the cavities 8 are in the shape of a continuous groove along the entire length of the frame part, while if it is a metal profile where the cavity 8 shall be accomplished through post-processing it is more advantageous with point by point cavities.
  • the frame 6 can, as previously mentioned, also include insulating material.
  • the adjusted frame 6 (adjustment devices and adjustment range are not shown) is according to the figure fixedly fastened to the wall 3, and the window 1 is inserted into the frame 6 to an intended end position, partly centered in the frame 6 due to the guiding function, to an end position, in relation to the enclosing frame parts and partly to a end position in the depth of the frame 6, given by a shoulder 7.
  • the shoulder 7 indicates the end position and the window 1 is inserted until to the outer side 18 of the frame outer side 18 reaches the shoulder 7- In this position the window 1 is locked and then fixed by the locking block 9, which in its mounted position abuts the inside 19 of the frame 6 and in that thus locks the case 5 to the frame 6.
  • the locking block 9 is preferably somewhat wedge shaped.
  • the shoulder 7 also contributes to increased safety during installation since it makes sure that the window 1 can not fall out during the installation. Furthermore, the usual additional step, which is frequently used in known mounting methods, is not required - namely to mount boards on the outside of the wall which serves to prevent the window from falling out.
  • Fig. 2b shows a device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in which the case 5 is locked to the frame 6 by mounting the locking block 9 directly into the enclosing wall sides 12 of the wall opening 2 by means of a fastening element 28 and into position of the inside of the frame 19, wherein the case 5 is clamped between the shoulder 7 and the locking block 9.
  • the locking blocks 9 are mounted to at least two opposite frame parts to achieve a desired locking function, and the length of the locking blocks 9 is freely variable within the invention.
  • Fig. 3a shows a device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in which the frame 6 includes local or elongated recesses 10, which are coordinated with locking elements 11 on fixedly arranged on the case 5, for locking the case 5 to the frame 6.
  • This embodiment allows the window with its case 5 to be snapped into the frame 6 in a very simple and fast way, which is very convenient from a mounting point of view.
  • the frame 6 is a profile angle preferably of sheet metal, aluminum or rigid plastic, and comprises two legs, a first leg 21 and a second leg 22, essentially set in L-shape or T-shape in relation to each other.
  • the first leg 21 is arranged to abut the outside 23 of the wall or at least that part of the wall 3 which is facing outwards at the mounting of the frame 6.
  • first leg 21 allows possible wind paperboard or other weather sealing which may be used in the wall construction, to be inserted behind the first leg 21, whereby an efficient sealing is achieved between the frame 6 and the wall 3.
  • the first leg 21 is preferably also arranged to constitute a shoulder for additional security against the window falling out during installation, but this is not necessary as the second leg 22 is arranged to lock the case 5 to the frame 6 by the locking elements 11 in co-operation with the recess 10 which is provided in the second leg 22.
  • the recesses 10 are local or elongated along the entire or parts of the extension of the frame parts, e.g. the top part 15 and bottom part 16.
  • the locking structure must be provided on at least two opposing frame parts for maximum performance.
  • the second leg 22 is not limited to, as shown in the figure, be relatively short in relation to the depth of the wall opening 2, but can also be more elongated and cover a major part of the depth of the wall opening 2, e.g. a longer length for control or other purposes.
  • the second leg 22 preferably comprises also a guiding nose 27 which helps to guide the locking element 11 into the recess 10.
  • the locking elements 11 are fixedly mounted to the case 5 in a coordinated position with the recesses 10, and the locking elements 11 as well as the second leg 22 are preferably slightly resilient, so that mounting and snapping are facilitated. It is appreciated that the frame 6 may also have a similar appearance and function as the locking element 11 and can be snapped into a notch in the case 5. The preliminary focus is that the function is achieved in one way or another.
  • Fig. 3b shows a device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in which the frame 6 preferably comprises an insulating but shape-stable material which at the outer side of the frame 6 is surrounded by a protective profile 30.
  • the protective profile 30 comprises the first leg 21 arranged to be connected to the outside 23 of the wall, or at least the part of the wall 3 which at the time of installation of the frame 6 constitutes the outside.
  • the first leg 21 is preferably also arranged to receive a wind paperboard or the like (not shown) and the profile 30 thereby secures a wind seal around the wall opening 2.
  • the profile 30 comprises a second leg 22 and a third leg 29, which in the mounted position of the profile 30 extend inwardly into the wall opening 2, preferably perpendicularly to the first leg 21 and along the frame 6, and thereby surrounding the outer part of the frame 6 .
  • the dimensions of the wall opening 2 often vary, and also are slightly larger than the measurements of the frame 6 or the case 5, one usually caulks between the case 5 and the enclosing wall sides 12 of the wall opening 2.
  • a seal member 25 at that side of the frame 6 which faces out towards the side walls 12 of the opening 2
  • a corresponding caulking is obtained to air tighten and thus insulate around the frame 6 without having to perform an additional step during the installation.
  • the seal member 25 is provided with projecting lips 26 which project from the extension surface of the seal member 25 in a direction towards the wall sides 12. These lips 26 are resilient in order to take up irregularities and also to allow adjustment of the frame 6 in the wall opening 2, which -as mentioned above -can be skewed or vary in dimensions. When the frame 6 has been adjusted, it is already caulked around the frame 6, and the resilient lips 26 seal everywhere around the frame 6. The number of protruding lips 26 is not limited here.
  • a seal 20 is also provided and seals between the case 5 and the frame 6. Depending on the positioning and size of the seal 20, it is according to this embodiment also possible to let the seal 20 have a guiding/centering function in addition to the sealing function.
  • Fig. 4a shows a device according to a preferred embodiment which comprises a so-called hidden board or covering side 13.
  • the locking of the case 5 in or towards the frame 6 is obtained by means of the hidden board 13.
  • the guiding and centering frame 6 comprises the shoulder 7 for reception of the outer side 18 of the case.
  • the seal 20 is disposed between the case 5 and the frame 6, preferably in connection to the end position of the case 5 in the frame 6.
  • the window 1 is already adjusted and ready just as in other construction solutions and thus it remains only to lock the case 5 to the frame 6.
  • This is performed by inserting the hidden board 13 into the case 5, preferably in a designated notch, and snapping into holding means 14, which according to a preferred embodiment are provided in enclosing wall sides 12 of the wall 3 of the opening 2.
  • the hidden board 13 can of course instead be connected directly to the inside 19 of the case 5.
  • the holding means 14 are adjustable to obtain right angles between the case 5 and the hidden boards 13 around the window case, since it is common with variations of the dimensions of the opening 2.
  • Fig. 4b shows a device according to an alternative embodiment to what has been described in Fig. 4a .
  • the holding means 14 are instead mounted directly on the frame 6, which in this case covers a larger part of the depth dimension of the wall opening 2.
  • the figure also shows a fastening element/adjustment device 28 which is used to adjust the frame 6 in the wall opening 2.
  • similar solutions may be found, but they are only shown here in figure 4b .
  • the fastening element/adjustment device 28 is used in the first step of the installation process of the complete window mounting method, where when the frame 6 is arranged in the wall opening 2, and is adjusted thereafter by means of the adjustment device 28, usually approximately centrally in the wall opening 2 in terms of height and width with respect to the opening 2.
  • the frame 6 comprises oblong adjustment holes 24, in which the fastening elements 28 are arranged.
  • the frame 6 By pushing the frame 6 in depth to a desired position in the wall opening 2 and then fixedly arrange the frame in the wall sides 12 of the wall opening 2, the frame 6 is then completely adjusted and mounted in its end position, and the mounting of the window 1 can start.
  • the window 1 is pushed in place in the frame 6 and automatically adjusted by the guiding frame 6, and in its end position the case 5 is locked by means of the hidden board 13 which snaps against the holding means 14 fixedly disposed on the frame 6.
  • the advantage of the fastening elements/adjustment devices 28 to be hidden under the hidden board 13 is obtained, but still accessible since the hidden board 13 may easily be dismounted by unsnapping the hidden board 13 from the holding means 14 and remove the same.
  • Post-adjustment of the frame 6 and complete dismounting of the window 1 are therefore possible and also easy to perform, and the parts are not destroyed during dismounting which can easily happen in conventional systems.
  • a method for installing a complete window, a complete door or hatch 1, in an opening 2 in a wall construction 3 or the like comprising the steps:

  • the case 5 is locked in the frame 6 in the intended end position, by the frame comprising cavities 8 in which locking blocks 9 is mounted, wherein the locking blocks 9 connect against the inside of the case 19 in a mounted position, and wherein the case 5 is then locked in the frame (6).
  • the case 5 is locked against or in the frame 6 in the intended end position by mounting the locking blocks 9 against the enclosing wall sides 12 of the opening 2, with an abutment against the case 5, wherein the case 5 is locked against or in the frame 6.
  • the covering sides/hidden boards 13 are arranged dismountably to the frame 6 or to the enclosing wall sides 12 of the opening, after the case 5 is arranged in its end position, through holding means 14 arranged on the frame 6 or in the wall sides 12, and that the covering sides/hidden boards 13 in its mounted position locks the case 5 in the intended end position.
  • the covering sides/hidden boards 13 are dismountably arranged to the frame 6 or against the enclosing wall sides 12 of the opening, after the case 5 has been arranged in its end position through holding means 14 arranged on the frame 6 or in the wall sides 12, and that the covering sides/hidden boards 13 in its mounted position locks the locking blocks 9, whereby the case 5 is locked in the intended end position.
  • the frame 6 of the device comprises a shoulder 7 for receiving the outer side 18 of the case 5, wherein the shoulder 7 indicates the case 5 intended end position in the frame 6, and wherein the shoulder 7 is configured to prevent the complete window, door or hatch 1 to fall out of the opening 2 during the installation, and further also to prevent removal of the complete window, door or hatch 1 outwards from its end position.
  • the device comprises a locking construction including at least two cooperating parts, and where one part of the locking construction is arranged at the frame 6 and the other part of the case 5, wherein these parts co-operate for locking the case 5 in the frame 6.
  • the frame 6 comprises elongated cavities 8 arranged along the frame 6, in position wise co-operation with the inside 19 of the case in its end position in the frame 6, and that cavities 8 are arranged at at least two opposed frame parts, wherein each cavity 8 is arranged so that at least one locking block 9 of any length, which in its mounted position is connected to the inside of the frame 19, wherein the case 5 is locked relative to the frame 6.
  • the frame 6 comprises locally/in certain points positioned cavities 8, in position wise co-operation with the inside 19 of the frame in its end position in the frame 6, and that the cavities 8 is arranged at at least two opposite frame parts, wherein each cavity 8 is arranged for at least one locking block 9 which is connected to the inside 19 of the frame in its mounted position, and wherein the case 5 is locked relative to the frame 6.
  • the frame 6 comprises holding means 14 for covering sides/hidden boards 13, wherein said holding means 14 are configured to fasten the covering sides/hidden boards 13 to the frame 6, wherein the holding means 14 also allow dismounting of said covering sides/hidden boards 13, and wherein the covering sides/hidden boards 13 are arranged to lock the locking blocks 9 in its mounted position, wherein the case 5 is locked to the frame 6.
