Definitions
- the invention relates to a dryer with a dryer housing with a housing portion such as a housing front side, in particular for charging objects to be dried to a located inside the dryer housing drying chamber, a process air duct for guiding process air, an exhaust duct for guiding exhaust air from the drying chamber and a Heat pump with a heat sink and a heat source, wherein means are provided by means of which it is possible to take the dryer both for drying objects in the drying chamber and for a, in particular climatic, influencing the space in which the dryer is located.
- the dryer disclosed therein comprises a heat pump, which can be connected by a device with two flaps optionally with a chamber in which to be dried laundry, or with the environment of the dryer. If the heat pump is connected to the chamber, the dryer operates as a circulating air dryer, if it is connected to the environment, the dryer works as an air conditioning system.
- From the DE 10 2008 043 176 A1 shows a dryer with a heat pump, which for a drying process for objects to be dried, which are housed in a drying chamber, such as a drum, seen in principle, a closed or original circulating air circulation.
- a drying chamber such as a drum
- at least one additional air inlet and at least one additional air outlet to the surroundings of the dryer are provided on this dryer or on the housing of this dryer in addition, which are connected to certain sections of the original recirculation circuit.
- a degree of air leakage from the original existing recirculation circuit or a degree of air ingress into the original recirculation circuit can be controlled by the air inlets or air outlets have controllable closure devices. Taking into account a corresponding sensor system in combination with a control system, this dryer optimizes different installation conditions, different weather conditions and seasons to take into account.
- the known dryer also has a suitability for air conditioning a room.
- the US 2 676 418 discloses a unit with a heat pump that can be used for drying laundry items in a drum and for dehumidifying room air. For each necessary guidance of the air complicated flap arrangements are provided. In addition, a switchable coupling is still required to prevent the movement of the drum when using the unit for dehumidification.
- the duct of the air may be changed to dehumidify a room in which the washer dryer is located.
- external air ducts may also be connected to the washer-dryer so that a room adjacent to the room where the washer-dryer is located is dehumidified.
- the Dehumidifying the rooms also means that in the rooms suspended laundry can be dried.
- Switchable air conduction means are used, which are actuated according to a control pattern, so that, on the one hand, in particular the drying of laundry inside the washer dryer and, on the other hand, the drying of a room is made possible. It is assumed that the air guiding means actually assume the position corresponding to the control pattern.
- the object of the invention is to provide a dryer with a heat pump, which is reliable and easy to use for an additional function, such as a dehumidifying a room.
- the dehumidification of a space surrounding the dryer according to the invention can also be an essential function of a room air conditioning.
- the invention thus relates to a dryer with a dryer housing with a housing portion, such as a housing front side, in particular for loading of objects to be dried to a located inside the dryer housing drying chamber, a process air duct for guiding process air, an exhaust duct for guiding exhaust air from the drying chamber and a heat pump having a heat sink and a heat source, wherein means are provided by means of which it is possible for the dryer both for objects to be dried in the Drying chamber as well as for, in particular climatic, influencing the space in which the dryer is located to take.
- the housing portion has a recess portion in which a first or a second adapter can be used, wherein when using the first adapter normal drying of introduced into the drying chamber objects is vorrismbar and dehumidification of the room vorappelbar when using the second adapter is where the dryer is located.
- the first adapter If the first adapter is used, it will remain with the normal dryer function. Thus, the exhaust air from the drying chamber is supplied directly to the heat sink and it is further passed air as the process air for the drying chamber heating by at least the heat source of the heat pump subjected.
- the so-called exhaust air which thus exists after passing through the drying chamber, to the room in which the dryer is located, fed.
- This air is subjected to at least one heating by the heat source of the heat pump. So it is dry, warm air in the room surrounding the dryer out. It is provided in particular that the drying chamber in the training as a drum does not perform any rotational movement.
- the invention it is thus possible to determine in a dryer or dryer as well as in a washer-dryer with heat pump by using different adapters, especially on the front of the dryer, whether the dryer for a normal drying process, such as the drying of wet laundry is to be used, or whether a dehumidification of the space surrounding the dryer should take place in the first place, which can be influenced by a well-designed by the second adapter well-designed air flow to and from the space surrounding the dryer in an advantageous manner.
- the fact that the required airflow for the intended application is carried out by the adapter according to the invention, disturbances are avoided, which can occur in the control of, for example, power-operated air conduction or flaps, if they get stuck, for example.
- air can be supplied from the room in which the dryer is located as supply air to the dryer and the supply air can be supplied to the heat sink of the heat pump. This makes it possible for the room air introduced into the dryer to be first dehumidified before it is passed on within the dryer.
- the second adapter has air-conducting means for the air emerging from the dryer, the so-called exhaust air.
- air-conducting means are provided for the air sucked into the dryer, the so-called supply air. It has been found to be advantageous that the dryer exhaust air and the dryer supply air are guided by conductive means of the second adapter so that the dryer supply contains almost no components of the exiting directly from the dryer dryer exhaust air.
- the second adapter has as a guide on the one hand air guide elements in the outlet region of the dryer exhaust air, which are based on a fictitious, horizontal line upwards and on the other hand air guide elements in the inlet air inlet region of the dryer supply air, which are directed with respect to a horizontal line down.
- the second adapter includes fork elements which are formed in such a way that the formation of a bypass of dryer exhaust air and dryer supply air can be suppressed. This increases the efficiency of the dryer for the dehumidification of the same surrounding space.
- both the first adapter and the second adapter each emit a distinguishable signal to a control device.
- This can also be displayed, for example, on a display of the control panel of the dryer.
- an operator of the dryer is given an indication of how possibly set further program settings via a control knob in relation to a normal dryer program or in relation to the question of spatial humidification can be.
- program sequences for a room humidification can also be supplemented by a higher-level room air conditioning.
- a higher-level room air conditioning it is usually provided that when forming the drying chamber as a drum, this performs no rotational movement, which can be influenced by the internal program of the control device.
- the invention may also be considered in terms of procedural aspects.
- a dryer with a heat pump with a heat sink and a heat source provision is made so that interchangeable adapters are provided in a housing portion of the dryer, the selective use of which can initiate a routine for normal drying of items such as laundry and on the other hand, a program for air conditioning a room, such as in particular a dehumidifying a room in which the dryer is installed, can be triggered.
- a program for preferentially air-conditioning a room such as dehumidifying a room by the heat source of the heat pump
- heated air is blown out through the dryer and air is sucked from the room through the dryer, wherein the blown air, the formation of a bypass between the blown air and the sucked air is prevented almost completely is performed with respect to the sucked air so.
- the in Fig. 1 shown dryer 1 with a dryer housing 1 'is shown for operation as a dryer for objects to be dried. It will be explained below, as it becomes apparent to an operator of the dryer and manipulated to set the operation of the dryer as a pure dryer.
- a drying chamber 3 which is formed as a drum 3 'rotatable about a substantially horizontal axis.
- Driver 4 for moving the objects to be dried, such as laundry, mounted during the rotational movement of the drum 3'.
- Process air 2 ' (see. Fig. 4 ) is guided by means of a blower 12 through the drum 3 'via a process air duct 2 located upstream of the drum 3'.
- the wet, warm process air via an exhaust duct 13 in an evaporator 19, which forms the heat sink 19 of a heat pump 19, 20, 21, 22, passed.
- the flow direction of the air is illustrated by registered arrows. It is generally to be assumed that the exhaust air introduced into the heat sink 19 - when the dryer 1 is operated as a dryer for items of laundry - is also forwarded in its entirety in a cycle within the dryer as process air.
- the vaporized in the evaporator or in the heat sink 19 refrigerant of the heat pump 19, 20, 21, 22 is passed through a compressor 21 to a condenser 20, which is to be regarded as the heat source 20 of the heat pump.
- the condenser 20 the refrigerant liquefies with the release of heat to the process air 2 flowing in the process air duct 2 '.
- the now present in liquid refrigerant is passed through a throttle 22 in turn to the evaporator 19, whereby the refrigerant circuit is closed.
- heated process air 2 ' is the drum 3' from the rear, ie guided by one of the door opposite side of the drum 3 'through the perforated bottom.
- the heated process air 2 ' comes into contact with the laundry to be dried and flows through the filling opening of the drum 3' to a lint filter 6 within a door 5 closing the filling opening.
- the air flow now called exhaust air flow 13 ', is in the door 5 down diverted.
- the exhaust air stream 13 ' is in an exhaust duct 13, which in the present case remains uninterrupted, the evaporator or the heat sink 19 is supplied, in which the warm, laden with moisture, flowed out of the drum exhaust air cooled and then using the aforementioned fan 12 a recirculating air duct 14 is guided.
- the circulation channel 14 usually opens directly into the process air channel 2, in particular upstream of the condenser 20.
- the moisture deposited in the evaporator or in the heat sink 19 is collected by a condensate collecting container 17 as condensate 17 'or as water.
- the aqueous condensate 17 ' can be removed from there, for example by pumping.
- the drum 3 ' is mounted on the rear floor by means of a pivot bearing and in the front of the loading door by means of a bearing plate 7, the drum 3' rests by means of a brim on a sliding strip 8 on the bearing plate 7 and is held at the front end.
- the control device 10 also evaluates signals from various sensors or switching elements. Thus, it is possible, for example, to measure the temperature and the relative humidity of the air in the installation space of the dryer 1 with a sensor arrangement 28 which is attached to the exterior of the dryer housing 1 '.
- a further sensor arrangement 30 serves at least for measuring the temperature and optionally the relative humidity of the exhaust air flowing out of the drying chamber 3 in an initial region of the exhaust air duct 13.
- a first adapter 31 is shown, which - as far as it is used - a guide of the exhaust air in an uninterrupted manner from the outlet of the drying chamber 3 to the evaporator or to the heat sink 19 allows.
- the use of the first adapter in the area of the operating side of the dryer 1, usually below the loading door 5, is forwarded to the control device 10 by the inserted adapter 31 a contact 32 - in the closed position-triggers, the connecting lines are guided to the control device 10.
- Another sensor can be used instead of a contact. This is in Fig. 1 merely hinted.
- the exhaust duct is bridged by a bridging region 13b, which is located in the adapter 31.
- the adapter 31 When used, the adapter 31 is received in a recess region 15 of the front side 51 of the dryer, preferably latchingly.
- the bridging region 13b is also designed such that, when the adapter 31 is inserted, the exhaust air duct is kept tight in a suitable manner, so that the exhaust air 13 'can be conducted safely out of the interior of the drying chamber 3 into the air passage region of the evaporator or heat sink 19.
- the Fig. 2 shows a schematic representation in a vertical section and the dryer 1 with heat pump 19, 20, 21, 22 of a guide of circulating air in the channel 14, process air 2 'in particular in the process air duct 2 and exhaust 13' preferably in the exhaust duct 13 provides.
- like parts are designated by the same reference numerals and therefore will not be described again unless there is another function that will be illustrated in the overall context.
- Fig. 1 is in terms of the Fig. 2 in that, instead of the first adapter 31, a second adapter 33 is inserted and its inserted operating position is reported on to the control device 10 by a closed contact 34.
- the dryer 1 with the inserted second adapter 33 is then no longer used exclusively for the drying of introduced items, such as laundry, in the drying chamber 3, but it is from the dryer an additional function, such as the dehumidifying of the room, set up in the dryer is made.
- the drying chamber is designed as a drum, it does not make any rotational movement.
- a dehumidification of a room can basically be an essential function of a room air conditioning, which also total of the dryer 1 with the second adapter 33 after Fig. 2 can be assigned.
- the exhaust duct 13 is not bridged in its already interrupted portion 13a but it is first formed an exit region 35 for the reference to the original dryer function designated exhaust 13 '.
- This exhaust air 13 ' which actually represents a process air, especially since no or virtually no moisture in the drying chamber because of the lack or only a minimal proportion of laundry items to be dried is suitably supplied to the room by the dryer 1 is set up.
- the detailed design of the outlet region 35 for the exhaust air will be explained below.
- the second adapter 33 has a supply air inlet region 36, this supply air coming from the room in which the dryer 1 is installed.
- This supply air 13Z is conducted via an air guide region in the second adapter 33 to the evaporator 19. The closer design of the inlet air inlet region with respect to the outlet region 35 will be described below in particular with reference to FIG Fig. 5 be explained.
- Fig. 3 is shown in two figure parts A and B, as are designed dryer when once the first adapter 31 to achieve a normal dryer function in the figure part A and once the second adapter 33 is used to achieve an additional function, such as a dehumidifying function of the dryer. Both adapters 31 and 33 are used on a housing front side 51, preferably below the loading door 5.
- FIG. 4 explained in a very schematic representation of the operation when using the second adapter 33.
- a refrigerant circuit 40 is within a heat pump 41 (designation 19, 20, 21, 22 at Fig. 1 and 2 ) present.
- the room air is via an intake manifold 36 'corresponding to the air inlet region 36 of Fig. 2 sucked.
- the evaporator section see 19 of the Fig. 2 ) of the heat pump 41, the moisture is removed from the room air as condensate 17 '.
- the condensate 17 ' is pumped into the condensate tank 17. From there, it can be disposed of by the operator of the dryer 1.
- the condenser part (see 20 of the Fig. 1 ) of the heat pump the liberated from the condensate air is reheated and fed to the dryer, in particular through the process air duct 2 to the inlet region of the drying chamber 3. Since in the drying chamber 3 there is no or virtually no laundry, the through the drying chamber. 3 Process air 2 'also is not or only slightly contaminated with moisture.
- a Ausblasstutzen 35 ' according to the exhaust air outlet region 35 of Fig.
- control device 10 via the contact 34 (see. Fig. 2 ) or another sensor of the second adapter 33 detects that a room humidifying operation of the dryer 1 is set, an operator can set various dehumidifying programs or air conditioning programs via the control knob 9, which run taking into account the detected values of the sensor arrangements 28 and 30.
- a concretely configured second adapter 33 is shown in a sectional view in FIG Fig. 5 shown. It can be seen that the concretely configured adapter 33 is inserted within the recess area 15 of the dryer 1. The starting from the drying chamber 3 and the lint filter 6 subsequent exhaust duct 13 opens into a region of the adapter 33, which causes a deflection of the exhaust air 13 to the outside of the dryer 1.
- a deflection wall 45 is provided, which has a fork-like end piece 46 with an upper fork piece 46a and a lower fork piece 46b with a point.
- the outlet of the process air 3 'and the exhaust air 13' from the dryer 1 is effected by obliquely upward with respect to a fictitious, horizontal line aligned, first air guide elements 47, so that the effluent from the dryer air a corresponding, upwardly directed Alignment experiences.
- the lower tip forked fork 46b is further downwardly associated with further, downwardly oriented forks 46c to 46e, which have the effect of preventing air escaping from the dryer in the area of the first air guide elements 47 Immediately and immediately back into the dryer in the supply air inlet region 36 can occur. It should therefore be prevented the formation of a bypass between the exiting air flow and the entering into the dryer air flow, which is indicated by the circular arrow 48.
- 1 second air guide elements 49 are provided for the incoming supply air 13Z in the dryer, the down in relation to a fictional, horizontal line are aligned.
- the air flow directions of incoming and outgoing air thus intersect at an acute angle.
- the second air guide elements 49 is still an air filter 50 is used, but even with respect to the air guide must not cause any attenuating influence on the directivity of the second air guide elements 49.
- the air introduced from the adapter 33 via the second air guide elements 49 and optionally via the air filter 50 is guided via the continuation of the channel 13, which is bounded here by the back of the baffle 45, to the evaporator or the heat sink 19 of the dryer.
- first adapter 31 of the normal dryer operation can be done with the dryer with heat pump by using a first adapter 31 of the normal dryer operation, while using the second adapter 33 preferably a dehumidifying operation for dehumidifying the surrounding space of the dryer is made.

The dehumidification of a space surrounding the dryer according to the invention can also be an essential function of a room air conditioning.
The object of the invention is achieved by the entirety of the features specified in the independent claim and directed to a dryer features and further developed by the dependent on this independent claim dependent, dependent claims. Further references to preferred and advantageous embodiments and developments of the invention can be found in the following description and in the accompanying drawings.
The invention thus relates to a dryer with a dryer housing with a housing portion, such as a housing front side, in particular for loading of objects to be dried to a located inside the dryer housing drying chamber, a process air duct for guiding process air, an exhaust duct for guiding exhaust air from the drying chamber and a heat pump having a heat sink and a heat source, wherein means are provided by means of which it is possible for the dryer both for objects to be dried in the Drying chamber as well as for, in particular climatic, influencing the space in which the dryer is located to take. It is provided that the housing portion has a recess portion in which a first or a second adapter can be used, wherein when using the first adapter normal drying of introduced into the drying chamber objects is vornehmbar and dehumidification of the room vornehmbar when using the second adapter is where the dryer is located.
If the first adapter is used, it will remain with the normal dryer function. Thus, the exhaust air from the drying chamber is supplied directly to the heat sink and it is further passed air as the process air for the drying chamber heating by at least the heat source of the heat pump subjected.
When using the second adapter, the so-called exhaust air, which thus exists after passing through the drying chamber, to the room in which the dryer is located, fed. This air is subjected to at least one heating by the heat source of the heat pump. So it is dry, warm air in the room surrounding the dryer out. It is provided in particular that the drying chamber in the training as a drum does not perform any rotational movement.
With the invention, it is thus possible to determine in a dryer or dryer as well as in a washer-dryer with heat pump by using different adapters, especially on the front of the dryer, whether the dryer for a normal drying process, such as the drying of wet laundry is to be used, or whether a dehumidification of the space surrounding the dryer should take place in the first place, which can be influenced by a well-designed by the second adapter well-designed air flow to and from the space surrounding the dryer in an advantageous manner. The fact that the required airflow for the intended application is carried out by the adapter according to the invention, disturbances are avoided, which can occur in the control of, for example, power-operated air conduction or flaps, if they get stuck, for example.
Furthermore, when the second adapter is used, air can be supplied from the room in which the dryer is located as supply air to the dryer and the supply air can be supplied to the heat sink of the heat pump. This makes it possible for the room air introduced into the dryer to be first dehumidified before it is passed on within the dryer.
In principle, it is provided that the second adapter has air-conducting means for the air emerging from the dryer, the so-called exhaust air. Likewise, air-conducting means are provided for the air sucked into the dryer, the so-called supply air. It has been found to be advantageous that the dryer exhaust air and the dryer supply air are guided by conductive means of the second adapter so that the dryer supply contains almost no components of the exiting directly from the dryer dryer exhaust air.
In order to influence the direction of flow of the exhaust air emerging from the dryer and the flow direction of the incoming air entering the dryer, it is provided that
that the second adapter has as a guide on the one hand air guide elements in the outlet region of the dryer exhaust air, which are based on a fictitious, horizontal line upwards and on the other hand air guide elements in the inlet air inlet region of the dryer supply air, which are directed with respect to a horizontal line down.
In the structural design of the second adapter is provided in a further advantageous manner that the second adapter includes fork elements which are formed in such a way that the formation of a bypass of dryer exhaust air and dryer supply air can be suppressed. This increases the efficiency of the dryer for the dehumidification of the same surrounding space.
In order for the program control of the dryer, which is determined by the control device, to be suitable, it is provided that both the first adapter and the second adapter each emit a distinguishable signal to a control device. This can also be displayed, for example, on a display of the control panel of the dryer. Thus, an operator of the dryer is given an indication of how possibly set further program settings via a control knob in relation to a normal dryer program or in relation to the question of spatial humidification can be. When using the second adapter, program sequences for a room humidification can also be supplemented by a higher-level room air conditioning. In particular, it is usually provided that when forming the drying chamber as a drum, this performs no rotational movement, which can be influenced by the internal program of the control device.
The invention may also be considered in terms of procedural aspects. For operating a dryer with a heat pump with a heat sink and a heat source, provision is made so that interchangeable adapters are provided in a housing portion of the dryer, the selective use of which can initiate a routine for normal drying of items such as laundry and on the other hand, a program for air conditioning a room, such as in particular a dehumidifying a room in which the dryer is installed, can be triggered.
In consideration of these aspects, it is also provided that in a program for preferentially air-conditioning a room, such as dehumidifying a room by the heat source of the heat pump, heated air is blown out through the dryer and air is sucked from the room through the dryer, wherein the blown air, the formation of a bypass between the blown air and the sucked air is prevented almost completely is performed with respect to the sucked air so.
As far as the invention is further developed by referring to the independent claims, non-independent claims, so it should be so that a chain of first-mentioned relationships is not restrictive in relation to the total notified teaching, as far as other combinations of features of claims be found to be suitable and executable from the perspective of the skilled person.

The vaporized in the evaporator or in the
It will now be described the further process air and the otherwise to be considered structure of the dryer. The drum 3 'is mounted on the rear floor by means of a pivot bearing and in the front of the loading door by means of a
