Der Klinkenverschluss hat die Aufgabe die anliegende sowie abliegende Weichenzunge in einer geometrisch exakt definierten Position festzuhalten bzw. mechanisch zu verriegeln. Die Art der mechanischen Verriegelung erfolgt mit Vorteil formschlüssig.
