Device for blinding containers, having a closure which is to be removed for the purpose of withdrawing preparation, characterized by a blinding covering which completely encloses the container, having an axially movable, rotatable lid which is provided with means for gripping the closure and a withdrawal site for an extraction needle, in such a way that the closure is removed from the container and the withdrawal site arrives at a position above the open container by axially moving and rotating the lid.
