La présente invention concerne une machine à laver (1) comprenant un corps (2) disposé sur le sol, un tambour (3) disposé dans le corps (2) qui tourne dans l'axe horizontal et dans lequel le linge devant être lavé est disposé, une cuve (4) dans laquelle le tambour (3) se déplace et qui oscille conjointement avec le tambour (3) pendant le fonctionnement, au moins un amortisseur de chocs (5) dont une extrémité est raccordée à la cuve (4) et dont l'autre extrémité est raccordée au corps (2) et qui amortit les vibrations de la cuve (4) et au moins un détecteur de charge (6) disposé sur l'amortisseur de chocs (5) servant à mesurer l'importance de la charge dans le tambour (3).
