Description

Kupplung mit einer StromschieneCoupling with a busbar

The invention relates to a coupling with a busbar, in particular made of metal, with a substantially U-shaped cross-section, in which a receiving channel laterally bounding parallel side walls support rails are arranged in insulating material, each isolated from each other, in the rail longitudinal direction parallel to each other, opposite each other and record accessible from the receiving channel uninsulated bare electrical conductors, wherein also preferably at the base of the busbar a likewise accessible from the receiving channel protective conductor is provided, wherein the coupling is formed substantially symmetrically to a median transverse plane and contacts for contacting conductors of a busbar, and mechanical guide - And stop parts, with which the coupling wegbegrenzt wegbegrenzt in the front side of the busbar can be inserted.

Busbars of this type are for example from the FIG. 3 of the DE OS 22 50 738 known. In order to mechanically and electrically connect such busbars, which are laid, for example, coaxially with one another on a corresponding surface, with one another, corresponding couplings are known in the prior art. In the conventional couplings relatively expensive resilient contacts are provided, which also lead in cooperation with the insulating parts of the surrounding housing parts of the contacts to the wear of the plastic part, so that the life is limited.

From the US 7,758,358 B1 is a busbar with a coupling known. Here, the coupling is formed in cross-section U-shaped. The cuboid busbar, the coupling can be inserted. In this embodiment, the coupling has in a housing part transversely to the housing longitudinal axis resiliently displaceably arranged L-shaped contact strips on one side and one beyond a central Gehäuseanschlagwandung, which forms the median transverse plane or is formed in this, laterally projecting contact areas on a first leg of the L. Have shape. With the marginal edge of the second leg they are positioned adjacent to a Isolierstoffwand of the housing adjacent. Furthermore, a spring plate is arranged in the form of a slightly V-shaped bent spring whose leg ends on the projecting contact areas of the first leg abut against the opposite outer surface of the second leg of the contact strip resiliently.

In such an embodiment, in the contacting position, the marginal edge of the second leg abuts against the insulating wall of the housing, where it causes wear of the insulating wall, in particular in the case of repeated use, ie when the contacts are pivoted in and out.

From the US 5 603 622 A a busbar is known in the electrical connection parts are slidably mounted on the busbar movably.

From the US 2004/0160767 A1 is a busbar with clamped consumers known, the busbar is formed bendable.

From the US 4,822,292 A. is a busbar with a coupling system is known in which also resilient contacts are provided. Again, the marginal edges of the resiliently displaceably arranged L-shaped contact strips may cause frictional wear on housing parts.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a coupling which is inexpensive to manufacture and easy to assemble, and also the wear in the area of the resilient contacts should be minimized. To achieve this object, the invention proposes that the contacts are each in a housing part of the coupling transversely to the housing longitudinal axis resiliently displaceably arranged L-shaped contact strips which one side and one beyond a central Gehäuseanschlagwandung which forms the median transverse plane or is formed in this have laterally projecting contact portion on a first leg of the L-shape, which bear indirectly with the edge of the second leg with the interposition of a flat sheet metal strip on an insulating wall of the housing, wherein the Sheet metal strip from spring plate a slightly V-shaped bent spring formed with its central part and angled perpendicular projecting from the metal strip whose leg ends resiliently abut the protruding contact areas of the first leg outer surface of the second leg of the contact strip.

By this configuration it is achieved that in the simple structure a wear-reducing arrangement of the contacts is made possible because the L-shaped contact strip with the edge of the second leg is not directly adjacent to an insulating wall of the housing, but with the interposition of a flat sheet metal strip, the component of a spring plate is, which in addition to this sheet metal strip has an integrally formed V-shaped spring which acts on the first leg of the L-shaped contact strip and provides sufficient contact pressure. The related structure is inexpensive and easy to implement, because in principle consist of the essential components only from the L-shaped contact strip and the angled sheet metal strip.

In order to achieve a cost-effective construction of the coupling, it is also proposed that the coupling is an insulating material housing with an approximately U-shaped first base body and a complementary thereto to a closed part second base body, wherein the first base body two first pairs of L-shaped contact strip including sheet metal strip spring plate, separated from each other by insulating webs, a first partition of insulating material is provided, and the second body two second pairs of L-shaped contact strip including metal strip of spring plate, separated from each other by Isolierstege receives, the two Base body are locked together in assembly target position.

According to this structure, the coupling consists of simple parts that allow quick and easy assembly of the couplings.

Conventional busbar systems usually operate with a system in which three phase conductors and a neutral conductor and a protective conductor are provided in the rail, which must be contacted with the coupling piece. In such an embodiment, the coupling described can be used. If the busbars of a new type are used, in which not only three phase conductors and a neutral conductor, but additionally two further conductors suitable for current conduction are introduced into the busbar, then it is possible in a simple manner to design the coupling accordingly.

For this purpose, the invention proposes that two third pairs of contact strips and a second intermediate wall of insulating material are arranged between the first and second pairs of contact strips in that the third pairs of contact strips are arranged insulated from one another and with respect to the first and second pairs, wherein the third pairs of contact strips also each form two resilient contact regions projecting beyond the housing side wall.

According to this embodiment, it is only necessary to additionally provide the second partition of insulating material and the two third pairs of contact strips. In this way, the clutch is then usable for use in the specified new busbar.

In order to also form the protective conductor contact on the coupling in a simple manner, it is provided that a protective conductor contact with two projecting, resilient contact tongues is fixed to a head side of the insulating material housing.

Furthermore, the invention has for its object to provide a modular system with such a coupling, in which a large number of busbar accessories can be produced with a small number of individual components, such as feeders, corner connectors, cross connectors or the like.

In order to provide such a solution starting from a coupling according to the preamble of claim 1, the invention proposes that a region located on the first side of the central transverse plane Coupling serves as a busbar connector and that the area located on the second side of the center plane forms a feed part by this is a suitably contoured insulating plugged or plugged, which receives in parallel to the direction of insertion of the coupling guideways electrical conductors made of sheet metal, lying in the insulating piece Ends are contacted with the contacts of the coupling and projecting the free ends of the insulating piece and preferably rectified by a mounting surface with cable inlet forming, connected to the insulator piece or infected plate are angled away so that they form an acute angle with the plate the free ends each have a contact piece, which consists of a spring-loaded contact with at least one plug-in area or preferably two separately resilient plug-in areas, and that protruding from the insulating free ends together with Fed ersteckkontakten surrounded by channel-like insulating parts, which are fixed to the insulating piece, in particular latched, and have frontally in the region of each spring plug contact insertion openings for electrical conductors.

According to this embodiment, which is considered to be inventive in its own right, the scope of the coupling is considerably expanded. On the one hand, such a coupling, which has an external partition in the central transverse plane, so that the coupling only up to this Partition wall, for example, can be inserted into a busbar, both sides of this partition wall having a corresponding plug connection area with contacts and the like.

To be able to use such a coupling also, for example as a feed piece or for connectors, the end portion of the coupling, which is not used for insertion into the busbar, completed with a suitably contoured insulating piece, which is mounted in the correct position on the end portion of the coupling , This insulating piece thus has a contour at one end region, which corresponds to the coupling. The insulator has a plurality of guideways for electrical conductors. In this guideways electrical conductors made of sheet metal, such as stamped and bent parts, inserted, so that these inserted ends are contacted with the corresponding contacts of the coupling. The free ends of these electrical conductors protrude from the insulator. Connected to the insulating piece is a plate which practically forms the mounting plane of the insulating piece or the coupling on a surface or lies in this. This plate is connected to the insulator, for example, infected or otherwise connected to this. In addition, the free ends of the contacts projecting from the insulating piece are angled away from the mounting plane formed by the plate, for example in such a way that they engage with the Plate at an acute angle of about 30 °. Furthermore, contact pieces in the form of sockets are provided at the ends of the contacts, which consist of a spring-loaded contact, wherein each spring-plug contact preferably has two separately resilient plug-in areas for two connection conductors. Overall, these projecting ends of the contacts, including the spring plug contacts of channel-like insulating parts are surrounded, which electrically isolate them and mechanically stabilize, these channel-like insulating parts can be attached to the insulating piece, for example, can be locked. This configuration not only allows a simple modular design of the feed part thus formed, but by the arrangement and orientation of the spring plug contacts, it is considerably easier for the fitter to introduce corresponding conductor wires in the spring plug contacts and to achieve the intended contact. The double contacts are particularly useful because multiple leads can be connected, which is particularly necessary when looping, so if two wires must be connected to each spring plug. Due to the angled design, the supply of corresponding cable cores to the spring plug contacts is greatly facilitated. The number of corresponding electrical conductors including spring plug should normally the number of necessary conductors of the matching busbar correspond. For example, in the case of a busbar with three phase connections, a neutral connection, a protective conductor connection, at least a number of five such electrical conductors together with contact pieces are required. If, as the invention also provides, the busbar still has two further conductors serving to conduct current, the corresponding number of conductors and the contact pieces is increased by two. Furthermore, for reasons of symmetry, the arrangement of protective conductor contacts can take place twice, so that they allow the corresponding arrangement depending on the intended use.

The insulating piece is in principle useful for all applications, however, provided that the protective conductor connection is provided in the base of the rail asymmetrically so outermost, an insulating piece is provided which is suitable for the left side arranged on the base training of the protective conductor and an alternative insulating piece, which for the eccentrically arranged at the base of the busbar eccentrically arranged execution of the protective conductor is used. All other components are the same for all embodiments.

In addition, it can be provided that the channel-like insulating parts additionally or alternatively attached to the plate, in particular hooked.

For example, the channel-like insulating parts can be hooked or latched to the plate.

For example, in order to allow for a ceiling outlet of a connecting cable a covert arrangement of this connection area and to allow the supply of the cable to the terminals of the feed or the like, it is provided that the plate in an insulating piece facing away from the channel-like insulating parts area an opening as an introduction for cables.

For mounting, the plate with this opening is mounted over the cable outlet, so that the wires emerging from the cable can then be inserted and connected in the corresponding spring plug contacts.

Such a design is useful for a feed piece in which only the wires of the connection cable are inserted into the spring plug contacts and the entire unit is then inserted into the end of the bus bar.

Alternatively and additionally, however, it is also possible that a plurality of couplings with insulating piece, electrical conductors, spring contact contacts and insulating parts are provided, which are aligned opposite one another, aligned in an L-shaped manner, oriented in a T-shape with respect to one another or aligned in a star shape with respect to each other. shaped, T-shaped or star-shaped Plates are arranged or fixed to these, wherein the plates have the opening in the middle or in the angular crossing region as a cable entry.

In this arrangement, a corresponding plurality of corresponding components is provided, wherein only the plate on which the components are partially mounted, or which is connected to the insulator, formed differently, depending on the application L-shaped, T-shaped or star-shaped can be trained.

Finally, the invention provides that a housing cover is provided, which can be positioned via the one or more insulating pieces together with electrical conductors, spring plug contacts, insulating parts and plate with opening and can be fixed to this covered parts.

By such a housing cover the complete assembly unit of Isolierstückkontakten and plate can be covered, so that a handsome touch-safe arrangement is achieved. In the case of corresponding L-shaped, T-shaped or star-shaped arrangements, the housing cover is designed in accordance with this shape and can be placed on this assembly unit and connected to the lower part.

In the drawing, a coupling 1 for a busbar 2 made of metal is shown. The busbar 2 is in FIG. 2 shown in cross section. Thereafter, the busbar 2 has a substantially U-shaped cross-section. In the side walls of the busbar 2, which define a receiving channel 3, Support rails 4 are arranged of insulating material, each of which several isolated in the rail longitudinal direction parallel to each other and opposite and accessible from the receiving channel 3 accessible, non-insulated bare electrical conductors 5,6,7,8 record, of which three switched as a phase conductor and a neutral is. In addition, a likewise accessible from the receiving channel 3 ago protective conductor 9 is provided at the base of the busbar 2. In addition, a further protective conductor 10 can also be provided on one leg of the busbar 2. Furthermore, a fifth conductor 11 and a sixth conductor 12 are arranged in isolation from the other conductors of the pair of conductors between in each case one conductor pair 5.6 or 7.8. These are accessible via the receiving channel 3. This fifth and sixth conductor 11,12 can serve as a control conductor for an electrical or electronic control or be connected as additional supply conductor for other electrical loads.

In such a busbar 2, a corresponding coupling 1 with a demarcated by a partition 13 end can be inserted frontally.

The coupling 1 is formed symmetrically to the central transverse plane formed by the partition wall 13. It has contacts 14,15,16,17,18,19 for contacting the conductors 5 to 8 and 11,12 of the busbar 2. Furthermore, the coupling 1 has mechanical guide parts 20, 21 as well Führungsisolierzapfen 22, so that the coupling 1 in the front side of the busbar 2 wegbegrenzt is inserted. The partition 13 serves as Wegbegrenzung. The insulating pin 22 engage in corresponding cavities of the busbar 2, which are formed between the side walls of the busbar 2 and the support rails 4 made of insulating material.

The contacts 14 to 19 are each arranged in a housing part of the coupling 1 transversely to the housing longitudinal axis so substantially parallel to the partition 13 resiliently displaceable. The contacts 14,15,16,17 are each L-shaped contact strip 23 in the target assembly position, such as in FIG. 1 is shown, this one side and one beyond a central Gehäuseanschlagwandung (partition wall 13), which forms the central transverse plane, laterally projecting contact portion 24 on a first leg of the L-shape, and with the peripheral edge 26 of the second leg 27 indirectly with the interposition of a flat Sheet metal strip 28 abut an insulating wall of the housing of the coupling 1.

At this flat sheet metal strip 28 made of spring steel a slightly V-shaped bent spring 29 is integrally formed with its central part 30 and bent at right angles from the metal strip 28 abragend. The leg ends of the spring 29 are located on the protruding contact areas 24 of the first leg 25 opposite outer surface of the second leg 27 of the L-shaped contact strip 23rd springy on. This ensures that the peripheral edge 26 does not rest directly on plastic parts, but on the flat sheet metal strip 28, whereby movement-related wear between the L-shaped contact strip 23 and the plastic part is avoided.

As in particular from FIG. 3 can be seen, the coupling 1, an insulating housing with an approximately U-shaped first base body 31 and a complementary thereto to a closed part second main body 32. The first base body 31 receives two first pairs of L-shaped contact strips 23 together with sheet metal strips 28, which are separated from each other by Isolierstege. These form the contacts 14,15. It is then provided a first partition 33 made of insulating material. The second main body 32 can accommodate two second pairs of L-shaped contact strips 23 together with metal strips 28 separated from each other by insulating bars, which corresponds to the contacts 16,17. The two main body 31,32 are locked together in assembly target position. In the exemplary embodiment, between the first and second pairs of contact strips 23 forming the contacts 14,15 and 16,17, two third pairs of contact strips are provided which form the contacts 18,19 and a second partition 34 made of insulating material. Thus, these contact strips with respect to the other contacts 14,15 and 16,17 are electrically isolated and also against each other by corresponding webs of the intermediate walls 33 and / or 34. Such as in FIG. 3 Illustrated clearly, the third pairs of contact strips, which form the contacts 18, 19, also each have two projecting, resilient contact regions which protrude outwardly in the assembly target position via the housing side wall of the coupling 1.

Finally, a protective conductor contact 35 is fixed on a head side of the insulating material housing, in particular of the second basic body 32, which has two resilient contact tongues 36 projecting downwards in the drawing figure 3.

The coupling 1 is modular and consists of relatively simple plastic moldings and sheet metal parts, which, depending on the application, the coupling can be equipped with or without the contacts 18,19.
In the embodiments is in FIG. 1 a corresponding coupling shown, which has two Ansteckbereiche which are separated by the partition 13 from each other. In FIG. 3 the items of a corresponding coupling are shown in the form of an exploded view. The FIG. 4 shows an L-shaped contact strip 23, combined with the metal strip 28 with springs 29 in a position of use.

The FIG. 5 shows the same parts in an exploded view. In FIG. 6 a corresponding coupling is shown in a side view. The FIG. 7 shows the same clutch in the section line AA of FIG. 6 seen. It is there, in particular, the interaction between the L-shaped contact strip 23 with the flat sheet metal strip 28 and the spring 29 can be seen. In the same way shows the FIG. 8 a partial section, in turn, the L-shaped contact strip 23 and the spring 29, here in a plan view, are shown. Also the FIG. 9 shows this detail.

The FIG. 10 shows a coupling in an end view.

Such a coupling is useful as a single part, for example, to connect two busbars together. In particular, however, such a coupling is also useful as a component of further accessory components, as will be explained below.

For example, in the FIGS. 11 to 14 a configuration is shown in which a coupling 1 has only on a first side of the central transverse plane, that is, beyond the partition wall 13 located area, which serves as a coupling for a busbar connector. The other side of the coupling 1, which is opposite to the partition wall 13, is formed as a feed part. For this purpose, an insulating piece 37 can be plugged or plugged onto the coupling 1 on the one plug-in area. This insulating piece 37 receives parallel to the insertion direction of the coupling 1 in accordance with extending guideways electrical conductors 38 to 44, which are formed as stamped parts made of sheet metal. With her one end, these electrical conductors are inserted into the corresponding channels of the insulating piece 37, wherein they are in plug-in position on the coupling 1 with the corresponding contacts of the coupling 1 in a conductive connection. The insulating piece 37 holds the fixed mechanical contact with the coupling 1 in the inserted position. The free ends of the electrical conductors 38 to 44 protrude on the side facing away from the coupling 1 from the insulating piece 37, namely rectified. They are all directed away from an infected to the insulator plate 45 at an acute angle away. The free ends of the electrical conductors 38 to 44 each have a contact piece 46, which consists of a spring plug contact with two plug-in areas for two conductors to be attached, wherein the two plug-in areas are formed separately resilient. These details are in particular from the illustration according to FIG. 13 seen. In the assembly target position these are protruding from the insulating piece 37 free ends including spring plug contacts 46 of channel-like insulating parts 47,48 which are plugged onto these free ends and locked with the insulating piece 37 or hooked against each other and / or on the plate 35 or locked , These insulating parts 47, 48 have in the region behind which the corresponding contact pieces 46 are located, two insertion openings each for two conductors for each contact piece 46. This embodiment is particularly advantageous because the mounting end, which would like to connect corresponding lines with the contact pieces 46, this connection is not horizontal in a plane which is close to the plate 45 must make, but by the bending and the different spacing design of the contact pieces 46 is a convenient supply of the conductors to the insertion of the insulating parts 47,48 and thus given to the contact pieces 46. The assembly is therefore considerably simplified. In particular, the assembly is done without tools.

The round openings on the front sides of the parts 47,48 are used for insertion of the conductor wires. The rectangular openings at the top of the parts 47, 48 serve to check the installation with a voltage tester or the like. Furthermore, they serve with a tool, for example the blade of a screwdriver, to release the individual conductors in the contact pieces 46.

Another special feature is that the plate 45 in an insulating piece 37 facing away from the channel-like insulating parts 47,48 projecting area has an opening 49. During assembly, the plate can be mounted on an example ceiling-side cable outlet, so that the cable can exit through the opening 49 and the wires of the cable can be guided to the contact pieces 46 and contacted. After assembly and the connection of the corresponding wires with the contact pieces 46, an additionally provided housing cover 50 can be plugged and mounted, which can be fastened in a suitable manner to components, for example with a screw, consisting of Insulant exist. In the exemplary embodiment, a corresponding screw dome is provided on the insulating part 47, in which.die screw shown in the drawing 13 above can be screwed.

The variety of applications of the components using one and the like clutch 1 is significant, since not only an infeed according to the FIGS. 11 to 14 can be configured in combination with the clutch 1, but it may also be provided a straight connection of two clutches 1 with intermediate feed, as in FIG. 15 and 16 is shown. Furthermore, an L-shaped connection of busbars can be made with a device, wherein here either the feed can be made by a guided through the opening 49 cable and / or the through connection of the one coupling 1 to the other coupling 1 via corresponding contact bridges. Such contact bridges can be preassembled here and also in other embodiments already in the factory production in order to minimize the assembly costs for the end user.

As in FIG. 18 is shown, the corresponding couplings 1 can also be used to design a T-shaped connector or to a star-shaped connector, as shown in FIG. 19 and 20 is shown. For the cost-effective production and installation-friendly use, both the modular design of the clutch 1 itself as well as the modular design of the corresponding fittings helpful, with one and the same clutch 1 can be used for different requirements. The corresponding embodiment of attachable to the coupling 1 and connectable to this other components is the same for all versions, with only different shapes of plates 45 and housing covers 50 must be provided in order to realize the appropriate design.
