Claims (16)

  1. Control device for an electric protection apparatus intended to be placed between two parts of an electric circuit so as to provide at least the functions respectively of flow of current between the parts, interruption of current between the parts and earthing of one of the parts of the circuit, said apparatus including a switching unit in series with an earthing device, said control device including a shaft referred to as primary shaft for manoeuvring the control shaft for the contacts of the switching unit referred to as secondary shaft, said primary shaft being able to be manoeuvred by a user, and a shaft for manoeuvring the earthing shaft, also manoeuvrable by a user, characterized in that it includes an interlock device (I) between the two aforementioned shafts referred to as primary (3) and secondary (4), said interlock device (I) being able to prohibit the earthing of one of the parts of the circuit when the apparatus is in the closed position, characterized in that said interlock device cooperates with latching means (28, 29, 17, 18, 19) controlled by the aforementioned secondary shaft (4) to prohibit the earthing of the circuit when the contacts of the switching unit are fused.
  2. Control device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the contacts are considered to be fused if the secondary shaft (4) has not travelled a minimum of 70% of its total opening trajectory.
  3. Control device according to either Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in that the aforementioned interlock device (I) includes a position selector (S) movable between a first position in which it authorizes access to the orifice (6) for access to the shaft (5) for manoeuvring the earthing shaft, and a second position in which it prohibits this access, and in that the aforementioned latching means (28, 29, 17, 18, 19) cooperate with the aforementioned interlock device (I) to prohibit the shifting of the aforementioned selector (S) from the second to the first aforementioned position if the contacts of the unit are fused.
  4. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it includes a lock (23) able to lock up the selector (S) in the aforementioned first position and/or lock up the control device in the open position, preventing access to the shaft referred to as primary (3), if the contacts of the unit are fused.
  5. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the switching unit is of vacuum interrupter technology.
  6. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the aforementioned latching means (28, 29, 17, 18, 19) are controlled by a position indicator (26) secured to the aforementioned secondary shaft (4) and giving the position of the contacts of the switching unit to the aforementioned latching means.
  7. Control device according to any one of Claims 3 to 6, characterized in that the aforementioned interlock device (I) includes a first interlock lever (7) fitted to be freely rotatable around the aforementioned secondary shaft (4) and including a first flap (11) able to free up or close off the orifice (12) for access to the manoeuvring shaft (3) referred to as primary shaft, a second lever (8) fitted rotatably around an axis fixed with respect to the support of the apparatus and including a flap (9) referred to as second flap able to close off or free up the orifice (6) for access to the shaft (5) for manoeuvring the earthing shaft, said first and second levers (7, 8) being mechanically connected, and the aforementioned position choice selector (S).
  8. Control device according to Claims 6 and 7, characterized in that the aforementioned position indicator (26) includes a pin (27) able to cooperate with the first interlock lever (7) to prevent the displacement of the selector (S) towards the first position when the apparatus is in the closed position.
  9. Control device according to Claim 6, 7 or 8, characterized in that the aforementioned latching means (28, 29, 17, 18, 19) include a latch (29) fitted pivotably with respect to a fixed axis of the support and called back by a spring towards the shaft referred to as secondary (4), said latch (29) cooperating with a part forming a sensor (28) of the indicator (26) giving the position of the contacts and with means (17, 18, 19) provided on the first lever (7) so as to authorize or prevent the rotation of the first lever (7) via the manoeuvring component (22) of the selector (S).
  10. Control device according to Claims 7 and 9, characterized in that these means (17, 18, 19) provided on the first lever (7) consist mainly in that, from the closed position to an open position of the contacts corresponding to at least 70% of the opening rotational trajectory of the shaft referred to as secondary (4), the shapes between the latch (29) and the lever (7) interact in order to prevent the rotation of the first lever (7) so as to prevent the manoeuvring of the selector (S), and in that between this last opening position and the 100% open position of the contacts, the shapes between the latch (29) and the lever (7) no longer interact and allow the rotation of the lever (7) and therefore the manoeuvring of the selector.
  11. Control device according to either Claim 9 or Claim 10, characterized in that the first interlock lever (7) includes a first arm (10) including the flap (11) for closing off the orifice (12) for access to the shaft referred to as primary (3), and a second arm (13) including a bent part (17), and in that the two successive portions (18, 19) of this bent part (17) cooperate with the end part (29a) of the latch (29) such that, in the closed position of the apparatus, the latch (29) is called back towards the shaft referred to as secondary (4) and such that the effort of the first lever (7) on the latch (29) via its first bent-part portion (18) locks the selector (S) in position so as to prevent its displacement towards the first position, and in that when the contacts are open according to a rotational trajectory of at least 70%, the protruding part (28) of the indicator (26) displaces the latch (29) so as to allow the displacement of the first lever (7), this displacement allowing the displacement of the selector (S) towards the first position, and in that in the open position of the product and actuated position of the selector, the second bent portion (19) exerts an effort on the lateral part (29b) of the latch (29) able to authorize the displacement of the selector (S).
  12. Control device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the aforementioned lock (23) includes a cam (24) able to be rotationally driven by means of a key, said cam (24) being able to cooperate with a bellcrank part (25) secured to the aforementioned first interlock lever (7) so as to lock up this first lever (7) in a position of closing-off of the orifice (12) for access to the shaft referred to as primary (3) and/or to lock up the selector (S) in the aforementioned first position, this cooperation between the cam (24) and the bellcrank part (25), in order to carry out the aforementioned locking-up, being possible only after a certain rotational trajectory of the cam made possible by a corresponding rotational trajectory of the bellcrank, which rotational trajectory can be obtained only when the contacts are not fused.
  13. Control device according to Claim 12, characterized in that a rotational trajectory of the cam (24) allowing the locking-up is about 90°.
  14. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the switching unit also performs the disconnector function.
  15. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the switching unit is a circuit breaker or a switch.
  16. Medium voltage electric protection apparatus including a control device according to any one of Claims 1 to 15.
