Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchte, insbesondere Stehleuchte oder Pendelleuchte, welche zwei Lichtaustrittsflächen auf zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten eines Leuchtengehäuses aufweist, um Licht zur Direktbeleuchtung und zur Indirektbeleuchtung abzugeben, wobei Leuchtmittel in Form von LEDs zur Erzeugung der Direktbeleuchtung und der Indirektbeleuchtung in thermischen Kontakt mit dem Leuchtengehäuse in diesem angeordnet sind, und wobei das Leuchtengehäuse als integraler Körper aus einem massiven wärmeleitfähigen Material mit einer spezifischen Wärmeleitfähigkeit von mehr als 30 W/Km, vorzugsweise mehr als 100 W/Km gebildet ist und welches auf Abschnitten seiner Oberfläche Kühlrippen aufweist.
