Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung (4) zum Erwärmen eines in einer Strömungsrichtung (6) strömenden Gases weist eine Mehrzahl sich in der Strömungsrichtung (6) erstreckender Strömungskanäle (10a - g) zum Führen des Gases und eine Heizvorrichtung mit einer Mehrzahl von jeweils zumindest einem Strömungskanal (10a - c) zugeordneten und voneinander unabhängig betreibbaren Heizeinrichtungen (12a - c) auf, wobei die Heizeinrichtungen (12a - c) ausgebildet sind, das durch einen der jeweiligen Heizeinrichtung (12a - c) zugeordneten Strömungskanal (10a - c) strömende Gas zu erwärmen. Ausführungsbeispiele der vorliegenden Erfindung ermöglichen es auf einem angeströmten Gegenstand gezielt ein gleichmäßiges Temperaturmuster zu erzielen bzw. ein beliebiges Temperaturmuster, das kontrolliert an die vorliegenden Gegebenheiten und an den gewünschten Anwendungsfall angepasst ist.
