Description

    Technical Field
  • The present invention relates to a container for transporting a roll body having a cylindrical winding core, and more particularly to a roll body container which enables to hold a roll body to be mounted thereto reliably in an immobile state and to transport it safely.
  • Background Art
  • A roll body which is composed of a strip shape material such as a film, a sheet, a paper or a textile being wound around a winding core is widely used. Conventionally, as a container for transporting this type of roll body being mounted thereto, those disclosed in Patent Literatures 1 and 2 are known, for example.
  • With regard to this type of container for the roll body, it is essential to hold the roll body in a immobile state, in order to transport the roll body safely without being damaged. Therefore, a roll body container is disclosed in the above Patent Literatures 1 and 2, where the roll body is held in an immobile state, by such a way that a pair of bearing members attached to a bottom container of a transport container or a pallet support the shaft of the roll body.

    Summary of Invention Technical Problem
  • In the transport container described in the above Patent Document 1, a bearing member is mounted thereto by inserting it into a support portion of the bottom surface along a side wall portion of the transport container. In the structure that supports the bearing member using a side wall portion which is a part of the transporting container (doubling a part of the transport container) as mentioned above, the mounting strength of the bearing member to the transport container grows unstable, because there exist many restrictions in the configuration.
  • In addition, because the holding portion attached to a pallet support shaft is slidable, with regard to the container for a roll product described in Patent Document 2, it is difficult to keep immobility of the roll product stably and reliably.
  • Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a roll body container which enables to mount thereto a support member which supports a roll body to a pallet firmly, and enables to hold the roll body to be mounted thereto stably and reliably in an immobile state, and to transport it safely.
  • Solution to Problem
  • In order to achieve the above object, the present invention shall be understood by the following aspects.
    • (1) One aspect of the present invention is a roll body container for mounting thereto and transporting a roll body having a cylindrical winding core, comprising: a pallet being located below the roll body to be mounted thereto, and configuring a base body; a pair of shaft members being fitted detachably to each of both ends of the winding core; a pair of support members supporting the pair of shaft members being fitted to the both ends of the winding core; a pair of bases holding detachably the pair of support members being positioned on both sides of the mounting position of the roll body.
  • According to the aspect of (1), the support member can be held by the base being mounted to the pallet. In other words, by placing a proprietary base for mounting the support member to the pallet, at an appropriate position in accordance with the width of the roll body in the axial direction, the support member can be attached firmly to the pallet. Therefore, the roll body to be mounted thereto can be held stably and reliably in an immobile state.
  • (2) In the aspect of (1), each of the pair of bases may be composed of a member different from a member of the pallet, and have a fitting groove being fitted from above to hold the pair of support members.
  • According to the aspect of (2), the base is composed of the member different from the member of the pallet, a degree of freedom in designing the base increases. Thus, in order to ensure attachment strength of the support member, the support member can be attached to the pallet using a base that is optimally configured. Further, because the support member can be fixed to the base by simply fitting the support member to the fitting groove from above, the installation work of the support member can be facilitated.
  • (3) In the aspect of (2), each of the pair of bases may be fastened and mounted to the pallet using a fastening member.
  • According to the aspect of (3), because the base is fastened firmly to the pallet by the fastening member, the support member can be attached thereto more strongly.
  • (4) In any one aspect of (1) - (3), each of the pair of support members may be composed of a lower member and an upper member being dividable in a vertical direction at a boundary portion supporting the pair of shaft members, wherein the lower member may comprise a lower bearing portion of a substantially semicircular shape to be fitted to the pair of shaft members from below, wherein the upper member may comprise an upper bearing portion of a substantially semicircular shape to be fitted to the pair of shaft members from above, wherein at least one of the lower bearing portion and the upper bearing portion may comprise a detent convex portion being fitted to the detent grooves formed on the pair of shaft members to prevent rotation of the pair of shaft members.
  • According to the aspect of (4), rotation of the shaft member is prevented, by fitting the detent convex portion to the detent grooves. Thus, the immobile state of the roll body to be mounted thereto can be held even in the rotating direction, because rotation of the roll body is also prevented.
  • (5) In any one aspect of (1) - (4), the roll body container may comprise a sleeve enclosing the roll body being mounted to the pallet, a lid for closing an upper end opening of the sleeve, wherein the lid may comprise the pair of upper support members supporting the pair of support members from above.
  • According to the aspect of (5), a posture of the support member can be stabilized, because an upper end of the support member is held by the upper base of the lid.
  • (6) In the aspect of (5), the roll body container is disclosed, wherein the pallet may comprise a plurality of leg portions being concaved toward a lower surface from an upper surface, wherein the plurality of leg portions may be capable of installing the pair of shaft members removed from the winding core therein, wherein a space portion being formed between the pair of bases may be capable of installing the sleeve removed from the pallet and the pair of support members in a laid-down posture therein, wherein the pair of bases and the pair of upper bases may be formed in a shape to engage with each other when the lid is stacked to the pallet from above.
  • According to the aspect of (6), a volume of the roll body container can be reduced after use, because the shaft member removed from the core axis can be installed in the leg portion. In addition, by laying the lid on the pallet from above, after installing the sleeve and the support member removed from the pallet in the space portion being formed between the pair of bases, the volume of the roll body container can be reduced further after use. Further, because the pair of bases and the pair of upper bases are formed in the shape to engage with each other, positioning of the lid is possible when the lid is laid on the pallet from above, and a height of the roll body container can be kept low in a reduced state of the volume.
  • Advantageous Effects of Invention
  • According to the present invention, it becomes possible to provide a roll body container which enables to mount a support member which supports a roll body to a pallet firmly, and enables to hold the roll body to be mounted thereto stably and reliably in an immobile state, and to transport it safely.

    Description of Embodiments
  • In the followings, with reference to the attached drawings, a detailed description of an embodiment for carrying out the present invention (hereinafter, called "embodiment") shall be given. Each of the same elements are assigned the same number throughout the description of the embodiment. In addition, the drawings should be viewed in the direction of the signs.
  • (Overall configuration of a roll body container 40)
  • First, an overall configuration of a roll body container 40 of the embodiment shall be described with reference to Figs. 1 and 2.
  • As shown in Figure 1, the roll body container 40 is used for the purpose of mounting a predetermined number (in this example, 2) of a roll body 10 thereto and transporting them.
  • As shown in Fig. 2, the roll body container 40 comprises a pallet 1 being located below the roll body 10 to be mounted thereto, and configuring a base body. In addition, the roll body container 40 comprises a pair of shaft members 23 being fitted detachably to each of both ends of a winding core 22, a pair of support members 9 supporting the pair of shaft members 23 being fitted to the both ends of the winding core 22, and a pair of bases 8 holding detachably the pair of support members 9 being positioned on both sides of a mounting position of the roll body 10. Further, the roll body container 40 comprises a sleeve 26 enclosing the roll body 10 being mounted to the pallet 1, and a lid 27 for closing an upper end opening of the sleeve 26.
  • The roll body 10 is assembled by winding a tubular (in Fig. 2, cylindrical) strip shape material such as a film, a sheet, a paper, a textile and the like, having the same width as the axial direction width of the winding core 22, around the winding core 22. Both ends of the winding core 22 in the axial direction protrude outward from the end surface of the roll body 10. In this example, two pieces of the roll body 10 are mounted and held to the roll body container 40 in parallel each other, where each the winding core 22 is placed horizontally.
  • (Configuration of each portion of the roll body container 40)
  • Next, configuration of each portion of the roll body container 40 shall be described with reference to Fig. 2 - Fig. 8. Furthermore, in the following description, "longitudinal direction of the pallet" represents a direction along the axial direction of the roll body 10 being supported by the pallet 1, and "width direction of the pallet" represents a direction along the direction perpendicular to the axis of the roll body 10 being supported by the pallet 1.
  • (Configuration of the pallet 1)
  • As shown in Fig. 3, the pallet1 1 is a hollow molded body made of a resin having a double-walled structure, and has an outer wall 2 of a substantially square outer shape. The pallet 1 comprises a plurality of leg portions 3 being concaved toward the lower surface side from the upper surface side, an insert portion 4 being formed between the plurality of leg portions 3 for inserting a fork lift pawl 33, and an upright peripheral wall 5 standing along the inner circumferential surface of the outer wall 2. The plurality of leg portions 3 are provided in the form of lattice points in the pallet 1. Of the plurality of leg portions 3, the leg portions 3 provided in the four corners of the pallet 1 are capable of installing the shaft member23 (see Fig. 2).
  • A support groove 6 is formed over the entire circumference of the four sides of the outer wall 2 between the outer wall 2 and the peripheral wall 5. Further, a flat portion 7 is formed on a portion surrounded by the peripheral wall 5 of the upper surface of the pallet 1. The hollow molded pallet 1 configured as described above, has a structure being reinforced by a plurality of ribs 12 which form a wall composed of the plurality of leg portions 3.
  • (Configuration of the base 8)
  • The base 8 is composed of a member different from a member of the pallet 1, and is disposed at each of the both ends in the longitudinal direction of the pallet 1 in a flat portion 7. A space portion 34 being formed between the pair of bases 8 in the flat portion 7 can install the sleeve 26 (see Fig. 2) and the support member 9 therein in a laid-down posture (see Fig. 2).
  • As shown in Fig. 4(a) and (b), each of the pair of bases 8 has an elongated shape extending in the width direction of the pallet 1. At each of the both ends of the base 8, a screw hole 13 is provided. The base 8 is fastened to the pallet 1 (see Fig. 3) and fixed, by screwing a screw 14 (corresponding to "a fastening member" referred to in the present invention) into the flat portion 7 (see Fig. 3) through each of the screw holes 13 at the both ends. Further, the base 8 comprises a fitting groove 11 which is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the base 8 and opened upward. The fitting groove 11 has a function to allow the support member 9 (see Fig. 2) to fit thereto from above and fix. A plurality of concave portions 15 are formed at a predetermined interval to fix the base 8 to the pallet 1 (see Fig. 3) in the fitting groove 11. The pallet 1 (see Fig. 3) may be fixed to the concave portions 15 using a rivet 16 which passes through each of some or all of the plurality of concave portions 15. In addition, a positioning convex portion 8a is provided at each of both ends of the base 8 in the longitudinal direction.
  • The positioning convex portion 8a has an L-shape in a planar shape and is fitted to a positioning concave portion 29a (see Fig. 8) of a lid 27 to be described later, when reducing the volume of the roll body container 40 (see Fig. 1).
  • (Configuration of the shaft member 23)
  • Go back to Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 2, each of the pair of shaft members 23 is fitted to both ends of the winding core 22, and a core axis of the roll body 10 is formed. Each shaft member 23 comprises a base shaft portion 23a to be inserted into an end of the winding core 22, a flange portion 23b provided at an end of the base shaft portion 23a, a circumferential groove 23c provided along the circumferential direction of the flange portion 23b, and a detent groove 24 formed in a direction perpendicular to the axis from the substantially center position of the shaft member 23. The detent groove 24 which extends along the axial direction of the shaft member 23, is opened in both sides in the axial direction of the shaft member 23 and above the shaft member 23.
  • (Configuration of the support member 9)
  • Each of the pair of support members 9 supports the roll body 10 via the pair of shaft members 23, and is composed of a lower member 17 and an upper member 18 being dividable in a vertical direction at a boundary portion supporting the pair of shaft members 23
  • As shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, the lower member 17 is inserted into the fitting groove 11 of the base 8 in a standing posture, and is mounted to the base 8. The lower member 17 comprises a lower bearing portion 19 of a substantially semicircular shape being opened upward. The lower bearing portion 19 is fitted to the circumferential groove 23c of the shaft member 23 from below.
  • On the other hand, the upper member 18 comprises a substantially semicircular upper bearing portion 21 being opened downward, and is detachably attached to the upper end of the lower member 17. The upper bearing portion 21 is fitted to the circumferential groove 23c of the shaft member 23 from above. In addition, the upper bearing portion 21 comprises a detent convex portion 20 which protrudes downward. The detent convex portion 20 fits to the groove 24 of the detent shaft member 23 and prevents rotation of the shaft member 23. Further, it is also possible to provide the shaft member 23 with a detent groove 24 being opened downward and provide the lower bearing portion 19 with the detent convex portion 20. That is, by providing at least one of the lower bearing portion 19 and the upper bearing portion 21 with the detent convex portion 20, it is possible to prevent rotation of the shaft member 23.
  • (Configuration of the lid 27 and an upper base 29)
  • As shown in Fig. 7, the outer shape of the lid 27 is formed in a substantially square shape in accordance with the outer shape of the pallet 1 (see Fig. 2). The lid comprises a fitting groove 25 which can be fitted to the upper end of the sleeve 26 (see Fig. 2), and a pair of upper bases 29 which holds the pair of support members 9 (see Fig. 2) from above. The pair of upper bases 29 are disposed at each of the both ends of the lid 27 in the longitudinal direction of the pallet 1.
  • As shown in Figs. 8(a) and (b), the upper base 29 has an elongated shape extending in the width direction of the pallet 1, and has substantially the same configuration as that of the base 8 (See Fig. 4). The upper base 29 is provided with a fitting groove 30 along the longitudinal direction of the upper base 29 being opened downward. A plurality of concave portions 31 for fixing the upper base 29 to the lid 27 (see Fig. 7) are formed at a predetermined interval in the fitting groove 30. A rivet 32 passes through each of some or all of the plurality of concave portions 31. The lid 27 (see Fig.7) is fastened and fixed to the concave portion 31 by the rivet 32. In addition, a concave positioning portion 29a is provided at each of the both ends of the upper base 29 in the longitudinal direction. The positioning concave portion 29a has an L-shape in a planar shape and is fitted to the positioning convex portion 8a (see Fig. 4) of the base 8, when reducing the volume of the roll body container 40 (see Fig. 1).
  • The base 8 (see Fig. 4) and the upper base 29 are formed in a shape to engage with each other when the lid 27 (see Fig. 2) is laid on the pallet 1 (see Fig. 2), by the positioning concave portion 29a and the positioning convex portion 8a (see Fig. 4) which are fitted together in that manner.
  • (How to use the roll body container 40)
  • As shown in Fig. 2, in order to mount the roll body 10 to the pallet 1, each of a pair of base shaft portions 23a of the shaft member 23 is inserted into each of both ends of the winding core 22. Then, in a state where the detent groove 24 turns upward, by fitting the circumferential groove 23c of the shaft member 23 to the lower bearing portion 19, the lower member 17 being held by the fitting groove 11 is allowed to support the shaft member 23.
  • Subsequently, the upper bearing portion 21 is fitted to the circumferential groove 23c of the shaft member 23, while the detent convex portion 20 is fitted to the detent groove 24, and the upper member 18 is matched with the lower member 17 from above. As a result, the roll body 10 is supported by the pair of support members 10, in a state where the movement in the axial direction, the movement in the direction perpendicular to the axis and the rotation are prevented.
  • Then, by fitting the lower end portion of the sleeve 26 to the support groove 6 of the pallet 1, the surrounding region of the roll body 10 is covered with the sleeve 26. In addition, by allowing the upper portion of the upper member 18 to fit to the fitting groove 30 (see Fig. 8) of the upper base 29 and allowing the fitting groove 25 (see Fig. 7) to the upper portion of the sleeve 26, the sleeve 26 is covered with the lid 27 and the upper portion of the roll body 10 is covered with the lid 27. Then, the roll body container 40 of an aspect for transportation and the like is obtained, by binding the pallet 1 and the lid 27 together with a plurality of belts 28 wound around the pallet 1 and the lid 27.
  • On the other hand, with regard to the roll body container 40 with which the transportation is over, the pair of the shaft members 23 are removed from the winding core 22 of the roll body 10, and the lid 27, the sleeve 26, and the pair of support members 9 are removed from the pallet 1.
  • Next, as shown in Fig. 9, while the sleeve and the pair of support members 9 are stacked and installed in a laid down posture in the space portion 34 (see Fig. 3) between the pair of bases 8, the shaft member 23 is installed inside the leg portions 3 in the four corners. In addition, while the positioning convex portion 8a of the base 8 is fitted to the positioning concave portion 29a of the upper base 29, the sleeve 26 and the support member 9 are covered with the lid 27. Then, as shown in Fig. 10, the roll body container 40 of an aspect for recovery is obtained, by binding the pallet 1 and the lid 27 together with a plurality of belts 28 wound around the pallet 1 and the lid 27.
  • Thus, according to the roll body container 40 of the present invention, returnable containers that can be recovered and used repeatedly are constructed. Further, in the aspect for recovery, the overall volume is reduced without being bulky, and the roll body container 40 is obtained where the immobile state is held in the vertical direction and the lateral direction.
  • (Operation and effect of the embodiment)
  • Operation and effect of the roll body container 40 described as above shall be discussed. According to the present embodiment, the support member 9 can be held by the base 8 to be attached to the pallet 1. In other words, the support member 9 can be attached firmly to the pallet 1, by disposing the proprietary base 8 for attaching the support member 9 to the pallet 1 at an appropriate position in accordance with the width of the roll body 10 in the axial direction. Accordingly, the roll body 10 to be mounted thereto can be held stably and reliably in an immobile state.
  • Further, a degree of freedom in designing the base 8 is increased, because the base 8 is composed of a material different from that of the pallet 1. Thus, the support member 9 can be attached to the pallet 1, using the base 8 which is optimally configured for ensuring attachment strength of the support member 9. Further, the mounting operation of the support member 9 can be facilitated, because the support member 9 can be fixed to the base 8 only by fitting the support member 9 to the fitting groove 11 from above.
  • Further, the attachment strength of the support member 9 can be increased, because the base 8 can be fixed firmly to the pallet 1 using a fastening member such as the screw 14 and the like.
  • Further, the posture of the support member 9 can be stabilized, because the upper portion of the support member 9 is held by the upper base 29 of the lid 27. At the same time, the lid 27 can be positioned when closing the upper opening of the sleeve 26 by the lid 27.
  • Further, rotation of the shaft member23 is prevented by fitting the detent convex portion 20 to the detent groove 24. Thus, rotation of the roll body 10 is also prevented, and so the immobility of the roll body 10 to be mounted to the pallet 1 can be held in the rotational direction too.
  • Further, the volume of the roll body container 40 can be reduced after use, because the shaft member 23 removed from the winding core 22 can be installed in the leg portion 3. Further, the volume of the roll body container 40 can be further reduced after use, by stacking the lid 27 to the pallet 1 from above, after installing the sleeve 26 and the support member 9 removed from the pallet 1 in the space portion 3 between the pair of the bases 8. In addition, the lid 27 can be positioned when stacking the lid 27 to the pallet 1 from above, and the height of the roll body container 40 can be kept low at the reduced volume condition, because the base 8 and the upper base 29 are formed in a shape to engage with each other.
  • As above, the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiment, but it is needless to say that the technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the scope described in the above embodiment. It is apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications or improvements can be added to the above embodiment. Further, it is also apparent from the description of the appended claims that the embodiments added with such modifications or improvements can be included in the technical scope of the present invention.
