The RJ45 jacks 3 and 4 corresponding to the analog phone and the IP phone are side by side. Similarly, RJ45 jacks 5 and 6 corresponding to the first and second Ethernet ports are side by side. These two groups of outlets are in the opposite direction, so that their openings are on opposite sides of the housing 2. The socket 4 corresponding to the IP phone is substantially on the same axis as the socket 6 corresponding to the second Ethernet access, and in sense opposite of it. Alternatively, it is the socket 3 corresponding to the analog telephone which is on the same axis as the socket 6 corresponding to the second ethernet access, and in the opposite direction thereof. With reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, the housing 2 of the adapter is shown in section along a plane passing through the four RJ45 sockets. The housing 2 comprises a moving part PM which moves in a housing between two extreme positions. The moving part is a plate which has three projecting portions respectively intended to fit into the housing of an RJ45 socket of the housing.
