Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a shower arm for a shower toilet or a bidet.
  • the shower device has a movable shower arm, which can be moved into a bowl of the toilet for cleaning from a completely or partially hidden position and can be moved back after cleaning.
  • a movement of the shower arm is not absolutely necessary, although common.
  • Such a swirling chamber is intended to generate a rotating water flow, in particular in order to expand the jet of water emerging from the shower nozzle by the centrifugal forces.
  • the GB 288 349 refers to a Lucasièrevorraum for connection to a tap with two fluidly connected Kammem, namely a first approximately spherical pressure chamber and a second downstream Verwirbelungshunt thereto, which are connected by angled thin channels arranged.
  • the DE 10 2008 019 930 A1 shows diesstechnikszerstäubervortechnischen, in the individual case in the form of a shower head for a common shower hose, in addition to numerous other variants, a spherical Verwirbelungshunt is shown, in which a plurality of leads eccentrically and tangentially tired and wherein the feed line has a smaller cross-section than the nozzle opening.
  • the swirling aims at improving the quality of the water in terms of its flowability and its oxygen content.
  • the present invention is based on the technical problem of providing an improved shower arm with a swirling chamber and a shower toilet equipped therewith, as well as a shower facility therefor.
  • a shower arm for a shower toilet or bidet with a shower nozzle for a shower water outlet in the direction and for cleaning a user of the shower toilet a water supply to the nozzle, a Verwirbelungshunt in the water supply to generate rotating water flows in the nozzle supplied shower water and a water pipe section between the Verwirbelungshunt and a nozzle outlet opening of the shower nozzle, which has a cross-section which is at most as large as that of the water supply directly in front of the Verwirbelungshunt, characterized in that the Verwirbelungshunt a ball chamber with a larger inner dimension than that of Ball chamber is directly preceding piece of water supply and is spherically shaped apart from the inlet opening and an outlet opening of the water supply line and any edge transitions at these openings, and by a shower toilet equipped therewith, a shower device equipped therewith and by the corresponding use of the shower arm.
  • a so-called ball chamber is provided here as a swirling chamber, which, as the name implies, has a spherical inner shape. Exceptions to this are, of course, inlet openings and outlet openings of the water supply, which cause interruptions of the spherical shape. Occurring edges can cause further deviations from the spherical shape, in particular in the form of fillets or bevels to improve the flow conditions.
  • the typical inner diameter or inner radius of the ball chamber should be greater than that of the water supply, in particular the directly preceding piece; in the case of deviating cross-sectional shapes of the water supply line, this applies correspondingly for a typical diameter of the water supply line.
  • the flow cross-section widens with the entry of the shower water into the ball chamber and the ball chamber ensures turbulence of the water flow. In any case, this turbulence keeps the water to a significant extent to the shower nozzle itself, so that they shape the shower water jet on the way to the user. They can provide a pulsating massage feeling and / or a shower jet widening and / or an improved washing effect by means of flow components transversely to the main exit direction of the jet.
  • the ball chamber has been found in experiments of the inventor as a particularly effective and thereby manufacturing technically simple form of a swirling chamber.
  • the swirling chamber is preferably located near the shower nozzle, i. H. preferably significantly closer to the shower nozzle than at the opposite end of the water supply line in the shower arm, so that the turbulence largely or sufficiently preserved before the shower water exits the shower nozzle.
  • Femer enters the water supply at an angle of preferably 65 ° to 115 ° relative to the main exit direction of the shower water at the nozzle in the ball chamber, ie at right angles plus-minus 25 °. Deviations of at most 20 °, 15 °, 10 ° or even only 5 ° from the right angle are more preferred.
  • the approximately right-angle direction reversal of the water flow has proven to be successful because the water then tends to turbulence with approximately parallel to the nozzle main exit direction lying axis of rotation, which are favorable in terms of beam expansion.
  • At least the piece of water supply directly preceding the ball chamber is preferably approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the shower arm, with an angular deviation of at most 20 ° and more preferably at most 15 °, 10 ° or even 5 ° being preferred. This results in a favorable geometry for the arrangement of the water supply line in the shower arm and, at the preferred angle arrangement between the water supply line before and behind the ball chamber, a water outlet from the shower arm quite roughly across it.
  • a centric arrangement of the inlet opening of the water supply to the ball chamber with respect to the ball chamber is preferred, on the one hand with respect to a direction that is perpendicular to both the nozzle main exit direction and the water chamber directly preceding the ball chamber, and, additionally or alternatively, in terms a direction parallel to the Düsenaustrittsriehtung direction.
  • the centric arrangement with respect to the latter Direction (parallel to the nozzle exit direction) favors a pronounced turbulence in the ball chamber.
  • the centric arrangement with respect to the aforementioned direction provides in contrast to the prior art (with this eccentric flow of a swirling chamber) for alternating Verwirbelungszulate in the ball chamber with different, in particular approximately opposite direction of rotation.
  • centrifugal forces in the intermediate phases between particularly pronounced turbulences of a certain direction are lower and / or mixed by non-uniform flow states, so that on average over time not only a beam expansion but also a particularly good coverage of the inner region of the area covered by the shower jet takes place.
  • the inventor has found that concentrating on beam expansion caused by centrifugal forces as a result of turbulence in the shower jet involves the danger that, as it were, a hollow cone jet or at least a shower jet with less washing effect arises in its interior. This can be effectively counteracted by the alternating swirling states.
  • the transition edges between the ball chamber and the inlet opening and the outlet opening need not be sharp-edged.
  • a rounding at the outlet opening is preferred here.
  • the typical radius of this fillet (which does not necessarily have to correspond exactly to circle segment shapes on average) is preferably between 0.3 times and 3 times the inside of the ball chamber.
  • the following lower limits are increasingly preferred in this order: 0.5 times, 0.7 times and 0.8 times: furthermore, the following upper limits are increasingly preferred in the following order: 2 times, 1.5 times and 1.2 times the spherical cavity inner radius.
  • a ratio of the inner radius of this line piece (as a numerator) and in the inner radius of the ball chamber itself (as a denominator) is preferably between 0.3 and 0.9, with lower limits of 0.4 and 0.5 and upper limits of 0.8 and 0.7 and 0.6 are increasingly preferred in this order.
  • the cross-sectional shape of the preceding piece of water supply can also deviate from the circular shape, in particular as long as the largest inner diameter (for example, the long axis of an ellipse or the diagonal of a rectangle) is not greater than the spherical diameter. Then, with regard to the radii ratio, the mean radius is to be taken. Circular cable cross sections are preferred.
  • the cross section of the water pipe between the ball chamber and the actual nozzle outlet opening is at most as large as that of the water pipe directly in front of the ball chamber.
  • it can also be partially designed as a nozzle, that is, tapered.
  • a preferred embodiment of the nozzle tapers continuously from the ball chamber to the nozzle outlet opening.
  • the water line between the ball chamber and the nozzle outlet opening forms a total of a nozzle and accelerated by the cross-sectional reduction, the velocity component of the water jet in the main exit direction.
  • a preferred configuration of this taper is conical, the transition between the ball chamber and this conical shape, as already mentioned, may be rounded. For explanation, reference is made to the first embodiment.
  • At least one Strömungsleitrippe is provided at the nozzle opening, preferably a plurality, for example, as in the embodiment, six.
  • These flow ribs protrude inward from an inner wall and affect the flow of water. They are preferably straight, so not twisted in the sense of additional turbulence, where they may be inclined to the main exit direction of the shower jet (in the sense of reducing or increasing the distance to the central axis of the shower nozzle).
  • These flow control ribs may, if desired, quiet the turbulent flow somewhat without dissolving the turbulence states altogether.
  • they can serve the addition of air into the shower jet, by their interaction with the Verwirbelungszurentn. Such an addition of air is desired, because the water is thus finely distributed and the shower jet, so to speak, "volumiger" acts without the water consumption is increased.
  • the shower nozzle is provided with at least one air supply channel, that is to say a further line for air which opens from the outside into the water line in the region of the shower nozzle.
  • the air can be conveniently sucked by the water jet pump principle by the flow in the shower nozzle.
  • the air supply duct or ducts can in principle also introduce this air from other sides of the shower arm; However, it is preferred that the air supply channels are formed relatively short and open next to the nozzle exit surface for the shower water, so there also suck the air to be supplied.
  • FIGS. 1a-d show a first embodiment, namely the distal end of a shower arm 1.
  • This distal end for example, be designed as a detachable nozzle head 1 and on another piece of shower arm, which has only support function and management function, be applied.
  • the shower head 1 is thus pushed from a rear (wall-side or cistern-side) area of a flushing rim or the wall of a dishwashing toilet bowl during operation in the bowl and then protrudes slightly inclined downwards into the opening of the toilet bowl.
  • the inclination corresponds to an angle between a (in Figure 1c and 1d horizontal) longitudinal direction of the shower arm and the horizontal of about 5 °, so that the in FIGS. 1a-c recognizable face 2 in the operating state is vertical.
  • FIGS. 1a-d show a nozzle exit surface 3 at the top of the shower head 1 and the Figures 1c and 1d show on average (in Figure 1d This is in relation to the shower arm longitudinal direction directed vertically upwards, in the operating position of the shower arm thus inclined by about 5 ° relative to the vertical forward. It defines with its longitudinal direction a main exit direction of the shower jet. This is in Figure 1d numbered 5; the Duscharmlteilsraum with 6.
  • the Duscharmlteilscardi 6 suggestive line in Figure 1d is simultaneously a longitudinal central axis of a water supply line 7, along the shower water, as with the arrow in Figure 1d indicated, flows along the shower arm, is deflected upward and through the shower nozzle 4, as also indicated by an arrow, along the main exit direction 5 emerges upwards.
  • the connecting piece in between and the means for the deflection between the in Figure 1d shown piece of the water pipe 7 is one in the Figures 1c and 1d shown in section spherical chamber 8, apart from the circular inlet opening of the water pipe 7 (in the Figures 1c and 1d at its right edge) and a transition 9 to the nozzle 4 (in the Figures 1c and 1d at its upper edge) is spherical.
  • the transition 9 is rounded, with a radius of curvature of about 2.5 mm
  • the inner radius of the ball chamber 8 is 2.2 mm and the inner radius of the water supply 7 at 1.25 mm
  • the conical nozzle 4 tapers from an inner radius of 1 , 17 mm to 0.775 mm.
  • the water supply 7 hits the ball chamber centric, both in terms of the vertical in Figure 1c and 1d as well as with respect to the direction perpendicular to the drawing plane (and thus the vertical in FIG. 1b ).
  • the centrifugal forces caused by the turbulence can be effective and broaden the shower jet, as in FIG. 1a indicated. It approximately forms a cone, said cone pulsating figuratively in terms of its opening width and in terms of the proportion of water in the core and at the edge of the cone.
  • the conical edges are more strongly detected and the opening width of the cone becomes larger when a particularly pronounced swirling condition prevails, and the center becomes more obscured and the overall beam narrows in the transitions therebetween.
  • these pulsations can take place so quickly that a plurality of different turbulence states and transition states "are on the way" between the nozzle exit surface 3 and the user's body surface to be cleaned.
  • the "cone” then has a broken or no longer coherent coat.
  • the user feels a pulsating and "soft” appearing water jet, which has a good cleaning effect due to pronounced speed components of the water across the Hauptaustrittsnchtung 5.
  • FIGS. 2a-d As a second embodiment
  • the end face 2 off Figure 1c thus corresponds to the end face 12 Figure 2c
  • the already explained tilt angle is greater, namely about 15 °; the shower arm 11 is thus more inclined.
  • the end face 12 is vertical in the operating state.
  • the quantitative information on the radii apply here as well as in the third embodiment.
  • the nozzle 14 has a different shape. It does not extend over a comparable vertical length. Instead, a straight cylindrical pipe section 14a, which basically corresponds to a piece of water pipe, joins over a rounding 19 corresponding to the first exemplary embodiment.
  • the nozzle tapers conically in a region 14b over a short distance in order to continue cylindrically, ie straight, over a further, even shorter distance, cf.
  • Figure 2d This description corresponds only to the after inside facing areas of six in FIG. 2b recognizable ribs, which protrude from the outside into the pipe section. Between the ribs, the cylindrical pipe section (according to FIG. 14 a) runs continuously up to the nozzle outlet opening 13.
  • the actual nozzle 14b ie the taper in front of the exit surface, serves here not only with the ribbed structure of the flow acceleration - this less than the conical structure 4 from the first embodiment. Rather, the Verwirbelungszuiron be somewhat calmed to produce a slightly smoother and more uniform, less pulsating shower jet. At the same time arise in the interplay between the ribs in the nozzle 14 b and the Verwirbelungszuuiten Lucas mecanicischept, wherein the air comes from the nozzle exit surface 13. This is similar to a so-called pervator in an ordinary faucet.
  • the third embodiment is in the FIGS. 3a-d shown. It can again be referred to the previous explanations. Accordingly, the same reference numerals are drawn as in the previous figures, here the number range between 21 and 29 is used.
  • the end face in the FIGS. 3b and 3c left) is thus designated, for example, 22 instead of 2 or 12. Here again it has the same angle of about 5 ° to the vertical in the FIGS. 3b and 3c as in the first embodiment.
  • the third embodiment corresponds to the second insofar as adjoins the spherical chamber 28 here after a transition 29 with a rounding again a straight cylindrical piece 24a.
  • a nozzle 24b with air supply channels 24c Above it is a nozzle 24b with air supply channels 24c.
  • the FIGS. 3a and 3b show that these channels 24c are provided in triplicate and are grouped around a nozzle exit surface 23 in a manner like a segment of a segment. You can suck air through their openings next to the nozzle exit surface 23 and forward this after a corresponding direction reversal according to the arrows in 3d figure into the water flow in the nozzle 24b.
  • the principle of the water jet pump is used.
  • the line cross section for the water jet in the actual area of the nozzle 24b, ie between the air supply channels, is increased.
  • the nozzle exit surface 23 thus has a larger cross-section than the water line piece 24 a between the nozzle 24 b and the ball chamber 28.
  • the turbulences are less calmed here than by the straight flow rib nozzle 14b of the second embodiment, but also somewhat more disturbed than by the smooth conical structure of the nozzle of the first embodiment. In this variant, a lot of air is supplied and thus generates a particularly "voluminous" and seemingly soft shower jet.
  • a single shower nozzle especially for anal cleaning
  • the invention can of course also with a plurality of shower nozzles, even in the same shower arm, run. Then such shower nozzles along the longitudinal direction of shower arm arranged in rows.
  • a vaginal nozzle can be combined with an anal nozzle, wherein, for example, for the former a tilted alignment can ensure that despite a relatively small distance between the two nozzles, a greater anatomical distance of the areas to be cleaned is taken into account.
  • FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of a shower toilet 30, which is conventional with the exception of the shower arm 31.
  • This shower toilet 30 has a toilet bowl 33 and then, in FIG. 4 rear left, a housing structure for a here summarily designated 32 shower device.
  • the shower device protrudes from the housing structure in the toilet bowl 33, in the form of the already mentioned shower arm 31 and one shown next Fönarms 34. Both the shower arm 31 and the Fönarm 34 can be moved back and forth and are used for cleaning and the drying of the user after using the shower toilet 30 in a conventional manner.
  • a water heater in particular a water heater, provided for the shower water and also a fan with an air heater for the Fön Kunststoff the Fönarms 34.
  • the shower device 32 may also have an odor extraction and various other previously known features and features a in FIG. 4 operated left panel on one side of the housing structure.
