Abstract
Description
Sammelhefter, mit denen zusammengetragene Druckprodukte mittels Klammern geheftet werden besitzen in der Regel mehrere Heftköpfe, die über einer sogenannte Sammelkette angeordnet sind, mittels der die Druckprodukte den Heftköpfen zugeführt werden. Die Heftköpfe selbst besitzen in der Regel eine schlanke langgestreckte Form, damit sie zur Erzielung kurzer Klammerabstände nahe aneinandergeschoben werden können. Aus konstruktiven Gründen ist dabei der Ausstoßbereich der Klammern exzentrisch zu einer mittigen Längsachse des Heftkopfes angeordnet, indem auf der einen Seite des Gehäuses der Former und die Führungen für den Treiberschieber angeordnet sind, mit dem die Klammern in das Druckprodukt gestoßen werden, und daneben andere Bauteile wie z. B. die Drahtzuführung und Schneideeinrichtung sowie deren Einstellmechaniken und Einstellrädchen angeordnet sind, die dem Bediener zugänglich sein müssen. Da bei bestimmten Druckprodukten bzw. Formaten der Wunsch nach kürzeren Klammerabständen besteht, wurde auch schon versucht, den Klammerabstand durch konstruktive Maßnahmen am Heftkopf zu vermindern. So werden von einem Hersteller Heftköpfe mit einer kleineren Baubreite angeboten. Die Verringerung der Baubreite wird dadurch erzielt, dass die Rückenlänge der Klammern und damit dann auch der Treiberschieber von derzeit standardmäßig 14 mm auf bis zu 10 mm verringert wurde. Dies bringt jedoch wiederum andere Nachteile mit sich. So kann bei kleineren Rückenlängen der Klammer nur ein Draht geringerer Stärke eingesetzt werden. Denn aufgrund der Umformkräfte gilt, je kürzer der Klammerrücken, desto dünner der Draht. Dünnere Drähte wiederum besitzen jedoch schlechtere Eigenschaften beim Durchstechen durch das Produkt, weil sie sich leichter verbiegen.
