Claims (9)

  1. A device for assembling an assembly (10), implementing an automatic stop-start function of a vehicle engine and which includes a capacitance unit (1) intended to store electrical energy and a device for voltage-holding and switching housed beneath a protective cover (2), on a body shell structure (3) of a vehicle, the device including a mounting plate (40) for said assembly (10), characterized in that the device includes:
    - at least one indexing peg (41) belonging to the mounting plate, said peg being fixed, for example by welding, on a rear face (43) of the mounting plate, this rear face (43) being that which is intended to be placed facing the body shell structure (3);
    - at least one eye (31) intended to be secured to the body shell of said vehicle in an area of the body shell structure which is difficult to access for the operator who mounts the support on the body shell, and able to receive said indexing peg (41), and
    - at least one damping block (42) intended to be interposed between said peg (41) and said eye (31).
  2. The assembly device according to claim 1, characterized in that the mounting plate (40) includes at least two lugs (44, 45), each provided with an orifice for fixing means, for example of the screw/nut type, with the vehicle body shell structure (3).
  3. The assembly device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the mounting plate (40) comprises an upper part (47a) and a lower part (47b), the peg (41) and one of the two lugs (44, 45) being disposed on the upper part (47a) of the plate (40), the other lug being disposed on the lower part (47b) of the plate (40).
  4. The assembly device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that:
    - one (45) of the lugs (44, 45) is disposed at the end (46) of the front part (47b) of the plate (40) ;
    - the peg (41) is disposed on an upper area of the rear part (47a) of the plate (40);
    - the other (44) of the two lugs (44, 45) is disposed on a lower area of the rear part (47a) of the plate (40).
  5. The assembly device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the damping block (42) is of an elastically deformable material.
  6. The assembly device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the damping block is made of a material capable of absorbing mechanical vibrations, for example elastomer.
  7. The assembly device according to one of claims 5 or 6, characterized in that the block (42) has the shape of a double crown (42a, 42b), the two crowns (42b) being separated by a circumferential groove and having greater dimensions than those of the eye (31) such that the block (42) can ensure a locking function of the assembly formed by the peg (41) and the block (42) in the eye (31).
  8. The assembly device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the eye (31) is realized in a lug (32) belonging to the body shell structure (3), said lug (32) extending substantially perpendicularly to a main face (33) of said body shell structure (3).
  9. A method for assembling a vehicle engine automatic stop-start assembly (10) on a body shell structure (3) of a vehicle with a device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it includes at least one step consisting in securing said eye (31) with the damping block (42), then the step consisting in inserting the peg (41) of the mounting plate (40) in the damping block (42) housed in the eye (31), then the step consisting in fixing the plate on the body shell structure (3) by suitable means, such as screw/nut assemblies.
