Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftstoffinjektor nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
- Ein derartiger Kraftstoffinjektor ist aus der
DE 10 2005 040 199 A1 bekannt. In dem Gehäuse des Kraftstoffinjektors ist ein Piezoaktor angeordnet, der zum Betätigen einer Düsennadel zum Einspritzen von Kraftstoff in den Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine dient. Bei dem Einsatz eines derartigen Kraftstoffinjektors in einer Brennkraftmaschine besteht die Problematik, dass der Kraftstoffinjektor über einen großen Temperaturbereich, beispielsweise in einem Temperaturbereich von -40°C bis 160°C, stets zuverlässig arbeiten muss. Darüber hinaus müssen der Kraftstoffinjektor und die elektrisch leitenden Bauteile im Kraftstoffinjektor insbesondere gegenüber dem Eintritt von Feuchtigkeit von außen geschützt sein, um die einwandfreie Funktion zu gewährleisten. Hierzu finden in der Praxis üblicherweise eine Umspritzung aus Kunststoff an dem Kraftstoffinjektor Verwendung, die ein aus Metall bestehendes Bauteil des Kraftstoffinjektors in dem zu schützenden Bereich umgibt. Problematisch dabei ist, dass das aus Metall bestehende Bauteil und die aus Kunststoff bestehende Umspritzung des Kraftstoffinjektors stark unterschiedliche Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten aufweisen, so dass sich in Folge der unterschiedlichen Ausdehnung über dem oben angesprochenen Temperaturbereich Spalte zwischen dem metallischen Bauteil und der Umspritzung des Kraftstoffinjektors ergeben können, die ein Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in den zu schützenden Bereich in den Kraftstoffinjektor ermöglicht. Aus der genannten Schrift ist es daher bekannt, an dem aus Metall bestehenden Bauteil eine labyrinthartige Dichtgeometrie vorzusehen, die über den gesamten Temperaturbereich die erforderliche Abdichtung zwischen dem Bauteil und der Umspritzung gewährleistet. Die Dichtgeometrie ist dabei als ein an dem rotationssymmetrisch ausgebildeten Bauteil radial umlaufender Steg mit konstantem Querschnitt ausgebildet. Ein derartiger Steg lässt sich insbesondere fertigungstechnisch besonders einfach realisieren. - Ausgehend von dem dargestellten Stand der Technik liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Kraftstoffinjektor nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 derart weiterzubilden, dass die Dichtwirkung der Umspritzung zwischen dem umspritzten Bauteil des Kraftstoffinjektors und der Umspritzung verbessert wird. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß bei einem Kraftstoffinjektor mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 dadurch gelöst, dass die Breite der Nut an der Bauteiloberfläche ein Minimum aufweist, und dass sich die Breite der Nut, ausgehend von der Bauteileoberfläche in Richtung zu einem Nutgrund hin zumindest bereichsweise vergrößert. Dadurch wird der besondere Vorteil erzielt, dass die Dichtwirkung insbesondere in radialer Richtung des Bauteils gegenüber dem Stand der Technik deutlich verbessert wird, wobei je nach Ausgestaltung der Form der Nut zusätzlich auch eine Verbesserung der Dichtwirkung in axialer Richtung des Bauteils erzielt werden kann.
- Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen des erfindungsgemäßen Kraftstoffinjektors sind in den Unteransprüchen aufgeführt. In den Rahmen der Erfindung fallen sämtliche Kombinationen aus zumindest zwei von in den Ansprüchen, der Beschreibung und/oder den Figuren offenbarten Merkmalen.
- Besonders einfach bei guten Dichteigenschaften lässt sich eine derartige Dichtgeometrie an dem Bauteil realisieren, wenn das Bauteil im Bereich der Dichtgeometrie rotationssymmetrisch ausgebildet ist. Dadurch kann die Dichtgeometrie an dem Bauteil beispielsweise durch Schleifen, Drehen oder ähnliches kostengünstig hergestellt werden. Alternativ kann jedoch auch ein Querschnitt mit gerundeten Ecken vorgesehen sein, der dann zumindest wenigstens gute Dichteigenschaften aufweist.
- In fertigungstechnisch vorteilhafter Weise weist die Nut einen Querschnitt auf, der spiegelsymmetrisch zu einer zur Bauteiloberfläche senkrecht angeordneten Ebene ist.
- In einer bevorzugten geometrischen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Nut einen sich von der Bauteiloberfläche in Richtung zu einer Längsachse anschließenden ersten Bereich mit konstanter Nutbreite aufweist, an den sich ein zweiter Bereich anschließt, der eine gegenüber dem ersten Bereich größere Nutbreite aufweist.
- Um den Eintritt der Feuchtigkeit in dem zu schützenden Bereich zuverlässig zu vermeiden, kann es darüber hinaus in vorteilhafter Weise vorgesehen sein, dass wenigstens zwei Abdichtbereiche vorgesehen sind, die in Längsrichtung des Bauteils beabstandet zueinander angeordnet sind. Somit wird sozusagen von beiden Seiten der Umspritzung her ein Zutritt von Feuchtigkeit in einen zwischen den Dichtgeometrien angeordneten Zwischenraum verhindert.
- Um je nach Anwendungsfall bzw. Geometrie des Bauteils die Dichtwirkung zu optimieren, kann es darüber hinaus vorgesehen sein, dass in wenigstens einem der Abdichtbereiche zwei in Längsrichtung voneinander beabstandete Dichtgeometrien vorgesehen sind und/oder dass die Dichtgeometrien in den Abdichtbereichen eine unterschiedliche Form aufweisen.
- Weitere Vorteile, Merkmale und Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung bevorzugter Ausführungsbeispiele sowie anhand der Zeichnung.

- In der
Fig. 1 ist ein Baugruppe 10 in Form eines erfindungsgemäßen Kraftstoffinjektors 1 dargestellt, wie er als Kraftstoffinjektor 1 zum Einspritzen von Kraftstoff in den Brennraum einer (nicht dargestellten) Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere einer selbstzündenden Brennkraftmaschine, dient. Der Kraftstoffinjektor 1 ist während seines Betriebes typischerweise Temperaturen ausgesetzt, die von etwa -40°C bis 160°C reichen. Über den gesamten angesprochenen Temperaturbereich soll dabei die Funktionalität des Kraftstoffinjektors 1 über die gesamte Lebensdauer gewährleistet sein. - Der Kraftstoffinjektor 1 weist ein aus Metall, insbesondere aus Stahl bestehendes, im Wesentlichen rotationssymmetrisch zu einer Längsachse 11 ausgebildetes Bauelement in Form eines Haltekörpers 12 auf. In einem oberen Bereich des Kraftstoffinjektors 1, der insbesondere aus dem Brennraum der Brennkraftmaschine herausragt, ist der Haltekörper 12 von einer aus Kunststoff, beispielsweise aus PA 66 oder einer ähnlichen bestehenden Umspritzung 13 ringförmig umgeben. Die Umspritzung 13, die durch Einlegen des Haltekörpers 12 in ein entsprechendes Spritzgusswerkzeug ausgebildet wird, bildet gleichzeitig einen Steckeranschlusskörper 14 mit Anschlusspins 15 zur elektrischen Kontaktierung des Kraftstoffinjektors 1 aus. Die Anschlusspins 15 sind über im Einzelnen nicht näher dargestellte Leitungen mit dem Innenraum des Kraftstoffinjektors 1 bzw. des Haltekörpers 12 verbunden, um dort beispielsweise einen Piezoaktor, einen Magnetaktor oder ähnliches anzusteuern, der zur Betätigung des Kraftstoffinjektors 1 dient.
- Um zu verhindern, dass während des Betriebs des Kraftstoffinjektors 1, insbesondere aufgrund der unterschiedlich großen Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten des Materials des Haltekörpers 12 (Metall) und der Umspritzung 13 (Kunststoff) Feuchtigkeit in den Innenraum des Kraftstoffinjektors 1 gelangt, weisen der Haltekörper 12 und die Umspritzung 13 eine erfindungsgemäße Dichtgeometrie 18 auf.
- Die Dichtgeometrie 18 besteht aus wenigstens zwei, in einem oberen Randbereich 19 und einem unteren Randbereich 20 zwischen der Umspritzung 13 und dem Haltekörper 12 ausgebildeten Abdichtbereichen mit radial umlaufenden Dichtstegen 22. Die Dichtgeometrie 18 wird dabei insbesondere durch einen spanenden Fertigungsschritt an der Oberfläche des Haltekörpers 12 erzeugt, sie kann jedoch je nach Anwendungsfall und verwendeten Materialien auch über einen Gießprozess oder ähnliches ausgebildet werden. Die Dichtgeometrie 18 umfasst, wie insbesondere anhand der
Fig. 2 erkennbar ist, eine von der Bauteiloberfläche 23 des Haltekörpers 12 in Richtung zur Längsachse 11 des Haltekörpers 12 ausgebildete Nut 25. Die Nut 25 weist im Bereich der Bauteiloberfläche 23 des Haltekörpers 12 eine in Bezug zur Längsachse 11 radial umlaufende Öffnung 26 auf, der sich in Richtung zur Längsachse 11 des Haltekörpers 12 hin in Form einer doppelten Hinterschneidung bzw. eines doppelten Hinterstichs erweitert. Das bedeutet auch, dass die Nut 25 im Bereich der Bauteiloberfläche 25 die geringste Nutbreite aufweist, und dass sich die Nutbreite zur Längsachse 11 hin erweitert, im Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß derFig. 1 und 2 stetig bis zu einem Nutgrund 38 der Nut 25. In der Nut 25 ist das Material der Umspritzung 13 angeordnet, so dass zwischen dem Haltekörper 12 und der Umspritzung 13 eine besonders gut abgedichtete Verbindung ausgebildet ist. - Die Form des Nut 25 kann in vielfältiger Art und Weise abgewandelt bzw. modifiziert werden, wobei nachfolgend auf die
Fig. 3 bis 8 beispielhaft verwiesen wird. Dabei ist es bei denFig. 3 bis 5 sowie 8 vorgesehen, dass die Nut 25a, 25b, 25c und 25f als eine zu einer senkrecht zur Bauteiloberfläche 23 verlaufenden Ebene 27 spiegelbildlich ausgebildete Nut 25a, 25b, 25c und 25f ausgebildet ist. Bei den Ausführungsbeispielen gemäß denFig. 3, 5 und8 weisen deren Nuten 25a, 25c und 25f jeweils einen ersten Bereich 28 mit in etwa konstantem Querschnitt bzw. Nutbreite auf, an den sich in Richtung zur (nicht dargestellten) Längsachse 11 des Haltekörpers 12 ein im Querschnitt bzw. bzgl. der Nutbreite vergrößerter zweiter Bereich 29a, 29c anschließt. - Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß der
Fig. 3 ist der zweite Bereich 29a im Querschnitt im Wesentlichen rechteckförmig (mit gerundeten Kanten) ausgebildet, während bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß derFig. 5 der zweite Bereich 29c in etwa keilförmig ausgebildet ist. Demgegenüber ist der zweite Bereich 29f bei derFig. 8 rechteckig ausgebildet, mit in Richtung zur Bauteiloberfläche 23 ausgebildeten, rechteckförmigen Erweiterungsabschnitten 31. - Entsprechend der
Fig. 6 und 7 ist es auch denkbar, dass die Form der Nuten 25d und 25e unsymmetrisch zur Ebene 27 ausgebildet ist. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß derFig. 6 erweitert sich die Nut 25d von der Bauteiloberfläche 23 stetig mit einer senkrecht zur Bauteiloberfläche 23 verlaufenden ersten Begrenzungskante 32 und einer gegenüber der ersten Begrenzungskante 32 schräg angeordneten, unteren zweiten Begrenzungskante 33. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß derFig. 7 weist die Nut 25e dem gegenüber einen oberen, in etwa rechteckförmig (ggf. mit gerundeter Kante) Bereich 34 und einen Querschnitt etwa dreiecksförmigen unteren Bereich 35 auf, wobei die beiden Bereiche 34 und 35 über einen Querschnitt Zwischenbereich 36 konstanter Nutbreite mit der Bauteiloberfläche 23 verbunden sind. - Die soweit angesprochenen Geometrien der Nuten 25a bis 25f können im oberen Randbereich 19 und im unteren Randbereich 20 des Haltekörpers 12 identisch ausgebildet sein, sie können jedoch auch unterschiedlich ausgebildet werden. Dadurch kann jede Geometrie der Nuten 25a bis 25f optimal an die örtlich erforderlichen Kriterien optimal angepasst werden. Darüber hinaus ist es auch möglich, im oberen Randbereich 19 und/oder im unteren Randbereich 20 jeweils mehr als zwei Nuten 25a bis 25f an den Haltekörper 12 auszubilden.
- Beim Anspritzen des Kunststoffmaterials der Umspritzung 13 an den Haltekörper 12 erfolgt dies im verflüssigten Zustand des Materials der Umspritzung 13, d.h. mit relativ hoher Temperatur. Dadurch wird der Effekt erzielt, dass gemäß
Fig. 2 aufgrund von Druckspannungen aufgrund des sich abkühlenden Materials der Umspritzung 13 an der Kontaktfläche 37 zwischen der Umspritzung 13 und dem Haltekörper 12 sowie am Nutgrund 38 Druckspannungen erzeugt werden, die (bei gegenüber den Temperaturen beim Erzeugen der Umspritzung 13) geringeren Umgebungstemperaturen eine insgesamt dreifache radiale Abdichtung durch die Dichtgeometrie 18 bewirken. Demgegenüber wird im Bereich der beiden Hinterschneidungsabschnitte 39 der zweiten Bereiche 29 bei einem sich erwärmenden und damit sich gegenüber dem Material des Haltekörpers 12 stärker ausdehnenden Material der Umspritzung 13 eine zweifache, in radialer Richtung wirkende Abdichtung erzielt. Zusätzlich wird auch eine axiale Abdichtwirkung erzielt. Diese axiale Abdichtwirkung erfolgt über die horizontalen Flächenanteile der Hinterschneidungsabschnitte 39 der Randbereiche 19, 20. Dabei bewirkt das sich abkühlende Material der Umspritzung 13, dass die beiden Randbereiche 19, 20 in axialer Richtung, d.h. in Richtung der Längsachse 11 gegeneinander verspannt werden, so dass an den Hinterschneidungsabschnitten 39 zusätzlich die axiale Dichtwirkung erzielt wird. Diese axiale Dichtwirkung ist umso größer, desto größer die horizontalen Dichtabschnitte an den Randbereichen 19, 20 sind. So wird beispielsweise durch die Nut 25b gemäß derFig. 4 eine größere axiale Dichtwirkung erzielt als durch die Nuten 25a gemäß derFig. 3 . Eine Abkühlung des Materials der Umspritzung 12 verursacht somit einen 3-achsigen Spannungszustand zwischen der Umspritzung 12 und dem Haltekörper 12. - Die Dichtgeometrien 18 bewirken somit insbesondere eine besonders gute, weil zwei- oder dreifache radiale Abdichtung im Übergangsbereich vom Haltekörper 12 zur Umspritzung 13.
- Der soweit beschriebene Kraftstoffinjektor 1 kann in vielfältiger Art und Weise abgewandelt bzw. modifiziert werden, ohne vom Erfindungsgedanken abzuweichen. Insbesondere ist es selbstverständlich denkbar, dass derartige Dichtgeometrien 18 nicht nur an Kraftstoffinjektoren 1, sondern an beliebigen Baugruppen 10 ausbildet werden. Aus Dichtigkeitsgründen vorteilhaft ist es dabei, wenn deren Querschnitte zumindest gerundete Ecken aufweisen. Darüber hinaus ist es bei dem beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiel vorgesehen, dass die Dichtgeometrie 18 in Form einer Nut 25a bis 25f ausgebildet wird, die sich von der Bauteiloberfläche 23 in Richtung zur Längsachse 11 erstreckt. Selbstverständlich ist es beispielsweise aus fertigungstechnischen Gründen auch denkbar, die Dichtgeometrie 18 als Art "Amboss" auszubilden, der sich von der Bauteiloberfläche 23 in einer Richtung weg von der Längsachse 11 erstreckt, so dass die Nut 25a bis 25f in der Umspritzung 13 ausgebildet ist.
Claims (10)
- Kraftstoffinjektor (1) mit einem Bauelement (12), das zumindest bereichsweise von einer Umspritzung (13) umgeben ist, wobei das Bauelement (12) aus einem ersten Material mit einem ersten Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten und die Umspritzung (13) aus einem zweiten Material mit einem zweiten Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten besteht, wobei die beiden Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten unterschiedlich groß sind, wobei zwischen dem Bauteil (12) und der Umspritzung (13) wenigstens ein Abdichtbereich (19, 20) vorgesehen ist, der in Form eines in dem Bauelement (12) umlaufenden Dichtstegs (22) aus dem Material der Umspritzung (13) mit einer Dichtgeometrie (18) ausgebildet ist, und wobei der Dichtsteg (22) von einer umlaufenden Nut (25; 25a bis 25f) in der Bauteiloberfläche (23) des Bauteils (12) begrenzt ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Breite der Nut (25; 25a bis 25f) an der Bauteiloberfläche (23) ein Minimum aufweist, und dass sich die Breite der Nut (25; 25a bis 25f), ausgehend von der Bauteileoberfläche (23) in Richtung zu einem Nutgrund (38) hin zumindest bereichsweise vergrößert. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass das Bauteil (12) im Bereich der Dichtgeometrie (18) rotationssymmetrisch ausgebildet ist oder einen Querschnitt mit gerundeten Ecken aufweist. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Nut (25; 25a bis 25c, 25f) einen Querschnitt aufweist, der spiegelsymmetrisch zu einer zur Bauteiloberfläche (23) senkrecht angeordneten Ebene (27) ist. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach Anspruch 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Nut (25; 25a bis 25f) die Form eines doppelten Hinterstichs aufweist. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Nut (25; 25a; 25c; 25e; 25f) einen sich von der Bauteiloberfläche (23) in Richtung zu einer Längsachse (11) anschließenden ersten Bereich (28; 36) mit konstanter Nutbreite aufweist, an den sich ein zweiter Bereich (29; 29a; 29c; 29e; 29f) anschließt, der eine gegenüber dem ersten Bereich (28; 36) größere Nutbreite aufweist. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass durch horizontale Flächenanteile der Nut (25; 25a; 25c; 25e; 25f) eine axiale Dichtdichtung zwischen dem Bauelement (12) und der Umspritzung (13) ausgebildet wird. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Dichtgeometrie (18) durch einen spanenden Bearbeitungsschritt am Bauteil (12) ausgebildet ist. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass das Bauteil (12) aus Metall, insbesondere aus Stahl, und die Umspritzung (13) aus Kunststoff besteht. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass wenigstens zwei Abdichtbereiche (19, 20) vorgesehen sind, die in Längsrichtung des Bauteils (12) beabstandet zueinander angeordnet sind. - Kraftstoffinjektor nach Anspruch 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass in wenigstens einem der Abdichtbereiche (19, 20) zwei in Längsrichtung voneinander beabstandete Dichtgeometrien (18) vorgesehen sind und/oder dass die Dichtgeometrien (18) in den Abdichtbereichen (19, 20) eine unterschiedliche Form aufweisen.
