Storage media in the form of memory cards are indispensable in everyday life, neither in the business sector nor in private environments. Both for data backup and storage as well as for data transfer purposes, portable memory cards are used. For example, in digital photography, images or photos are stored on corresponding memory cards. Different memory cards differ, for example, in size and storage capacity, but usually all memory cards are relatively small. The sizes range from about 32 mm × 24 mm × 2 mm of an SD card to 11 mm × 15 mm × 1 mm of a micro SD card.

The present invention relates to a device for storing storage media, in particular for storing SD memory cards. The device has a flat, cuboid base body with an upper side, a lower side and respectively opposite end and longitudinal sides, wherein the flat base body forms at least one receiving space. Recesses are preferably formed in the upper side and / or lower side, wherein the depressions indicate both the position and the dimensions of the receiving spaces formed by the main body.
