Durch eine entsprechende Wahl der Positionen der Lagerungen der Steuerlenker und der Traglenker sowie der Länge der Steuerlenker und der Traglenker lässt sich der Flügel bei der Bewegung in die Drehöffnungsstellung entgegen der Schwerkraft in seiner Ebene kippen, so dass ein Neigen des Flügels durch die Schwerkraft besonders gering gehalten wird.
