Modulen können die Elemente auch nachträglich für andere Gießradien verwendet werden, was bei größeren, spezifischen Rahmenteilen nicht möglich ist. Dabei ist ein erster Auflagepunkt 10 bevorzugt zur Festlagerung ausgebildet, ein zweiter Auflagepunkt 10 zu einer quer zur Gießrichtung verschiebbaren Lagerung ausgebildet und die verbleibenden Auflagepunkte zu einer in alle Richtungen verschiebbaren Lagerung ausgebildet. Wie solche Lagertypen an sich ausgebildet werden, ist dem Fachmann bekannt. Darüber hinaus ist der Segmentträger 3 in Gießrichtung im Wesentlichen bevorzugt gleichlang wie das zu tragende Segment ausgebildet. Vorzugsweise werden Segmentträger 3 und das jeweilige Segment im Wesentlichen an ihren Ecken miteinander verbunden. Weiterhin umfasst der Segmentträger 3 vorzugsweise einen Gabelkopf 8 zur Verbindung mit einem benachbarten Segmentträger 3. Darüber hinaus umfasst der Segmentträger 3 an einem gegenüberliegenden Ende einen Bereich 9, der im Wesentlichen komplementär zu dem Gabelkopf 8 ausgebildet ist und mit einem Gabelkopf 8 eines benachbarten Trägersegments 3 verbindbar ist. Anstatt des Gabelkopfs 8 sind aber auch andere Formen von Verbindungsmitteln 8 denkbar. Desweiteren ist der Segmentträger 3 vorzugsweise fest jedoch drehbar mit dem Fundament verbunden. Diese Art der Lagerung ist zum durch die Fundamentlagerung 11 dargestellt. An dieser Stelle sei klargestellt, dass die einzelnen in der Figur 3 gezeigten Merkmale nicht als einschränkend verstanden werden dürfen, sondern lediglich ein Beispiel für die Ausbildung eines erfindungsgemäßen Segmentträgers 3 darstellen. Claims (10)

  1. A plant for casting and/or bending a metal strip, particularly a curved casting plant, comprising a carrier frame (2) and a subassembly, which in turn comprises the following:
    at least two supporting segment carriers (3) which form a part of the carrier frame (2) of the plant; and
    supporting segments which are connectible with the supporting segment carriers (3) and which each comprise a roller arrangement for guidance of the metal strip,
    wherein the supporting segment carriers (3) are so constructed that they each carry exactly one of the supporting segments,
    characterised in that the subassembly
    comprises at least two supporting segment carriers (3), which are mutually adjoining in casting direction and which are pivotably interconnected, and
    a foundation, wherein the supporting segment carriers (3) are respectively fixedly mounted (11), preferably rotatably, at the foundation.
  2. Plant according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the supporting segment carriers (3) comprises at least four support points (10) for connection with one of the supporting segments.
  3. Plant according to claim 2, wherein a first one of the support points (10) is constructed for fixed mounting, a second support point (10) is constructed for mounting to be displaceable transversely to the casting direction and the remaining support points (10) are constructed for a mounting displaceable in all directions.
  4. Plant according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each individual supporting segment carrier (3) has, as seen in casting direction, substantially the same length as the supporting segment carried by it.
  5. Plant according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein at least two, preferably at least three, of the supporting segment carriers (3) have equivalent construction.
  6. Plant according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each supporting segment carrier (3) as seen in casting direction is mounted on the foundation merely at one point (11).
  7. Plant according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein at least one of the supporting segment carriers (3) is formed substantially by two longitudinal girders (6) which extend preferably on both longitudinal sides of the strip in casting direction and which are connected together by connecting elements (7) as seen transversely to the casting direction.
  8. Plant according to claim 7, wherein each of the longitudinal girders (6) comprises connecting means (8) at one of its ends as seen in casting direction and has at its other end a region (9) which is substantially complementary with that of the connecting means (8) so that two supporting segment carriers (3) arranged in succession in casting direction are movably connectible by the connecting means (8) of a first supporting segment carrier (3) with the complementary region (9) of a second supporting segment carrier (3).
  9. Plant according to claim 8, wherein the connecting means (8) is formed substantially by a forked head (8).
  10. Plant according to claim 1, wherein the plant is so constructed that the metal strip can be bent from a substantially vertical position into a substantially horizontal position and wherein the plant comprises between five and nine interconnected supporting segment carriers (3), which are arranged in a row, for bending the strip into the horizontal position.
